Took my girlfriend for her 30th Birthday. We were seated and met by our server very quickly. She thoroughly went over the menu with us. Our drinks were always filled and we even received a delicious piece of cake for her Birthday. Excellent food and excellent service!
My favorite restaurant in Minneapolis. I have a group of 8 to 10 friends that get together annually for a Manny's dinner and every year we are reminded why we always come back, great service, great atmosphere, extensive drink menu and the food is the best in Minneapolis, bar none. See you next year.
Hands down best steak you’ll find for miles. Huge portions sharing is recommended
My Wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Manny’s tonight. This was our first time here and won’t be our last. What an amazing experience. From the waitress Tammy, to the maple bacon old fashion and the hash browns with onions. Everything was amazing. We had the 24oz porterhouse to share and it was so tender you didn’t need the knife. Topped the night off with the Baileys Cake. OMG so good. Just an overall great experience. Thank you Manny’s!!
We celebrated my wife's birthday and this place is awesome. Our waitor Andrew made the evening very worthwhile, although this establishment has high prices you do get what you pay for and I would do it again.
The selection of beef cuts and seafood was phenomenal. Our server made us feel right at home.
I took my mother out to dinner since she hadn’t been to such a nice restaurant before. The service was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for better service. The food was good, but not amazing. The ribeye I ordered was cooked nicely and very good. My mother ordered the lobster tail which was a little tough. The salads were very good. The appetizers were fine. The Brussels sprouts were the best thing we ordered. The cauliflower with goat cheese is not something I would reccomend and loaded hash browns were good. As I said before the service is great, the food, while plentiful, was not worth the $250 I paid for it, but was good
The steaks were outstanding as expected. My wife and I both had the lunch fillet with broccoli. Shrimp and calamari appetizer with delicious with delicious spicy relish. But the loaded hashbrowns were definitely the hit. Absolutely outstanding!!!! Service was as expected very very good. Everything was a fairly decent value, as we had much food left over for another meal.
Excellent food and service. The noise was deafening. Noise level so high we were unable to talk to each other at our table without yelling. Too bad as everything else is so well done.
Always great food and amazing level of service.
Best steak I’ve ever had. Our waitress was outstanding from beginning to end. I would and will come back to mannys every time I am in town.
As always the best steakhouse in town!
Staff was awesome too.
We go to Manny’s about twice a year. Every time the steaks melt in your mouth like butter, the adds (bacon and tomato with mozzarella cheese) and sides (loaded mash potatoes and Mac n cheese) are awesome that you can’t stop eating them. Yes you will drop a couple of hundred but it’s well worth the money. Shouldn’t you be able to treat yourself like a king or queen for a night?
Overall enjoyed our meal. However very busy and noisy. Too many servers doing too many things all at once. Seemed very close seating. Steak was good but not that much better based on price.
Tried Manny's for breakfast this morning. Atmosphere was nice, food was ok (if we had actually received what we ordered) but service was beyond pitiful.
I ordered steak au poivre (cooked med rare) with French onion soup (requested to come before entree). Another diner ordered Manny's omelet with fruit and last guest ordered lobster Benedict. Loaded hasbrowns for table to share.
My soup arrived with the meal, completely cold. Steak was cooked medium well. No au poivre sauce on steak and omelet had breakfast potatoes, no fruit.
Soup was ok, salty and cold. Steak had flavor but completely overcooked and no sauce. Omelet was prepared well and diner like it. Other guest really like his benedict.
Our server (young girl) never stopped back once to check on our food, refill beverages or see if we needed anything. What made it even worse is she stood in eyesight, by the bar, and talked to her coworkers so loudly about her previous night out.
For prices and reviews, definitely had hoped for a better experience.
Always a great service with Kara.
Great service and waiter was excellent. Steaks are the best. Will come back the next time in town. Like to see the live Lobster when presenting the main course.
Absolutely excellent food from the lobster cakes and brussel sprouts to the steaks. Best restaurant in Minnesota!
Wonderful service by Scott to celebrate a 60th milestone birthday! The food was extraordinary!!
Side dishes were huge, glasses of wine were a little pricey.
We will definitely be back😀
Great special occasion place. Food and service is outstanding.
Birthday dinner for my husband! Food and service amazing but a bit loud tightly packed on a Friday night
Fantastic dinner. Kim was an exceptional server. Had a wonderful evening.
Manny's was absolutely wonderful! I can't wait to visit again. Our waitress was wonderful and thoughtful. I don't remember her name but she was blonde and bubbly! Thank you for making our anniversary special.
Our server Ken was amazing! Would ask for him again. He was funny and attentive. He made our experience even better that I expected. Food was amazing! Would recommend to everyone.
Manny’s is in a class by itself when it comes to a steakhouse in the Twin Cities. Perfection on a plate.
This is still my favorite restaurant. Been going irregularly for years and food is always excellent.
There is absolutely no better steak to be had in the continental United States! Manny's is first rate, and the servers are always so friendly and fun. If you want to celebrate with style- have your meal at Mannys!
The food is great, the steaks ,seafood and sides. But is ther really any reason to charge $80 for a steak or $15 for a cocktail? There are middle class people out there that would like to experiese a steakhouse.
We have made it a tradition to spend our anniversary at Manny’s and they do not disappoint. They made our anniversary just a special as last year.
I've been going here since i was kid, we would come up from northern Iowa just to have supper and i still do. I can remember when they were in their previous location, one night my parents took me along and i ordered the 5# live lobster and ate the entire thing. I can remember being impressed at that age of how as soon as someone put a cig in their mouth there was someone there to light it for them. This was the first place i ever seen big name celebrities in person, from Randy Moss, Daunte Culpepper, senator Norm Coleman and so on. Always has been a favorite and one of the few places we can go out to eat and they actually make better food than we can at home. Never a let down and in reality if you can stay out of the drinks the tab isnt anything out of this world for such dining.
Great service, but my steak was terrible. And to completely honest, that’s saying a lot. I’ve never ever returned a steak in my life, ever.
But it was raw, even after the refire, and the steak it self was dry, not mouth watering, or melt in your mouth. Just dry & flavorless.
I had the 85 day dry aged bone-in ribeye, mid rare.
Manny’s has been my go to for celebrating special occasions in life, engagements, promotions, special birthdays, etc. The experience is a real treat and our server Joel is truly the best. His service is top notch and he always seems to know exactly when or what we want at any given moment. This visit was no exception, a Manny’s dinner is pricey but worth every cent. Highly recommend!
We were there to celebrate our son's 28th birthday. The food was over the top! Our waiter made it an especially wonderful experience! He was funny and always there at just the right times! We had a great time!
I took my husband to Manny’s for his birthday. The food was wonderful and exceeded our expections... expensive but worth every penny. The staff were amazing with exceptional customer service!!! Our food and drinks came on time; we never had to think twice. Between the two of us, a meal and two drinks each, our bill was about $250. It was our first experience at Mannys and we’re always planning our next visit back, in a couple months. We stayed at the W Foshay Hotel upstairs that night and it was perfect! We can’t wait to come back..... my favorite part about supper was the steak and caprese salad!!! YUMMMM!!! A+++
It's been a while since I have been to Manny's. So literally I have waited years and recommended it to anyone who was in the cities. I was so disappointed and unimpressed.
Wonderful evening for my husband and I. The service was great, the food was amazing. Manny's lived up to the rave reviews we have heard over the years!
My husband and I went for dinner. Manny’s is amazing! Great drinks, lobster cakes, steaks cooked to perfection, sides, and dessert. The waiter took exceptional care of us. This is the best place to eat in Minneapolis!
Looking to impress, Manny's
Have a tight entertainment budget this not your place.
With that said, high quality food prepared properly and served professionally, what more do you ask of a restaurant. Very good wine and liquor selection, of course
Food was great - I've had better service, however. Boyfriend's birthday, which I indicated in my reservation. The host at the front acknowledged it, however server didn't even offer a dessert menu. She brought our tab out before we even finished our $20 glasses of wine. Our drinks were empty when food arrived. Waited for a bit for server to come back so we could order wine to eat with our meal. I have had much better service here before, but this being an occasion - I was disappointed in the experience overall.
