Manny’s is a great restaurant. But our experience was hampered by being sat at an awkward table too small for four people that felt as if it had been crammed in a walkway at the last minute. The carts they use to do them Meat Show’ and/or to deliver and clear tables could not navigate around our table to serve other tables around us. It would be awkward at any restaurant, but at a place as expensive as Manny’s it was just unacceptable. But the place was full, we were there for my son’s birthday ... so we made do. But it was disappointing.
Excellent bone in ribeye and lobster. Hash browns could feed 8, and the NY cheesecake was the best I have ever had!
It was our first time here and we loved it! Food was outstanding and the service couldn’t have been better!
Joel did a great job
A great brunch deal- amazing food for lower prices then a dinner bill. Service is always great!
Everything was simply amazing, food was Spectacular, service was stupendous. Atmosphere was just darling! Very expensive but you get what you pay for which is the best ever thank you manny’s and crew! Top Notch 🙏
My first time here and it was outstanding. Food and service quality the same as my top end NYC steakhouses without the stuffiness
I chose Manny's (again) because I know what to expect. White glove treatment and steak that is second to none. I've eaten at a lot of good restaurants-few as memorable as Manny's Steakhouse!
Love Manny’s. We come for our anniversary.
Incredible steaks. Great drinks. Great sides. Great leftovers as usual. But a trip to Manny's is likely 2-3 meals... which eases the initial shock of seeing the bill.
Great food. Great wait staff. Restaurant was super nice. come hungry.
We used to go to Manny's all the time...until they raised their prices so much. Now it's a once a year thing...maybe. Our server was FANTASTIC. And usually the food is too but I was pretty disappointed with the steak. It was undercooked, the first time I've ever had to send it back. Also, in the past, it always cut and melted in your mouth like butter. I never questioned the price because it was always EXQUISITE. However, this time was not the same. I would hate to think that while the prices are skyrocketing, the quality is diminishing. If you're going to charge that much, you better bring the goods. I'm choosing yes on the recommendation question, but it's more like a "ehhh...yeah, I guess."
Had a rough experience at Manny's. So disappointing. I'm sure it's a great restaurant, but they missed with our meal.
Have had great experiences in the past, but it's been 2 years. This time the server was inattentive, short, poorly attempted to be humorous (for example, didn't bother to show the seafood options when she brought the menu options physically to the table, when one of our guests was likely to have seafood; joked about not angering the server when I was discussing salad options). The steaks came out with more char on the outside than I'm used to at $$$$ steakhouses, and was red/cold on the inside, despite ordering medium rare-to-medium. The steaks were stringy and had lots of "connective tissue" relative to the quality of steak I'm used to here. You have to treat yourself from time to time, but for the price, this is not a good option if this is now standard quality. Sadly, I'm sorely disappointed in Manny's.
Food is always very good and service is outstanding. The portions are excessive and while the meal was good, it’s just too much. I’d rather pay slightly less for 1/2 the food so that so much doesn’t get thrown away. Food is one of the best steaks in the twin cities but can’t say it is “the” best. The service is impeccable yet you pay handsomely for it. No apps, drinks or desserts and our meal was $200 for two steaks and two sides.
The worst dining experience we’ve had in a long time....
Way over priced. Steak was under/cooked twice, although, in all fair, it was then comped.
Great classic steakhouse. My porterhouse was excellent even though it was cooked less than I wanted. Side dishes are delicious and have huge portions.
Manny's is always incredible and tonight did not disappoint. One of the courses that people may not think about when going there is dessert. The Hot Fudge Brownie is my favorite!
Our meal was amazing. We hadn't been in years Service was outstanding.
First time at Manny’s - and we had a wonderful experience! Our sever Kara was phenomenal- and the wait assists were so timely and gracious. The steaks are simply the best - absolutely worth every penny. Thank you Manny’s!!
As usual, Manny’s did not disappoint. They were fabulous! We were celebrating 3 birthdays in our family so they gave us the Manny’s brownie. We had a newbie with us and wanted to give him the full experience, so we did get more desserts. The banana cream pie was the best we have ever had! Everyone had a wonderful time celebrating and having it at Manny’s made it the best meal/experience ever! Thank you, especially to Vinnie, our waiter!
This was one of the best steaks that we have had in the area. Scott was wonderful.
Our server was Scott and he was amazing. It was my fathers birthday and Scott really made him feel like a young man again. The food was great.
We were celebrating my friend’s 50th birthday party. This was her and her husband’s first time to Manny’s. We had a party of 6 and we had a great time! Can’t wait to come back!
Nancy is the best ever, really completed the experience of amazing food! Friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly personable!
We had a fantastic experience when we went to Manny’s. Our server, Jim, was so friendly and his knowledge of the menu was great. He was so accommodating to us and personable - we are Irish and he took the time to chat about the places he’d been there and it was really lovely, he also looked after us very well. The food was fantastic and the portion sizes were so generous. Great experience - if we’re ever back in Minneapolis this is will be our first stop!
We had an outstanding time, complete with great food and exceptional service. Our Master of Service, Scott, was perhaps the best server we have had. He was personable, remembered our names, always came at the right times, and truly made the whole experience one to remember. I had always wanted to go to Manny’s after hearing about it for so long, and we were both elated with our experience. Thank you for making a late Valentine’s Day one to remember!
The most amazing steak dinner I’ve ever had! It’s pricey, yet the 85 day dry aged bone in ribeye is to die for!
Fantastic meal with an excellent server in Carrie.
We will be back!!
Outstanding food and service.
This was my first & only experience with Manny's thus far. The food was phenomenal. The experience was great. Our waiter was very good and entertaining. It was a very expensive evening, and I find myself questioning if the cost is worth the experience. But I'm not well traveled when it comes to fine dining, so it could just be my own lack of knowledge. Thank you Manny's.
Tha steak was excellent and service in the restaurant was very good. The sides were well presented and plentiful. Drinks are very good but a little overpriced.
Don’t use the Wheels valet service as they were poor. They didn’t keep our leftovers or we were unable to get them upon our return and were looking forward to steak and eggs with hash browns for breakfast. They also kept our fob which we had to go back and retrieve the next day. Terrible service. Not even close to the class of Manny’s.
All I can say is I wish there was a dress code requirement of men wearing a jacket. I understand 'the times," but would be nice.
Exceptional food great service. Even better friends
Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent drinks
We went for my birthday and the waiter suggested an awesome steak for me because I liked mine well done. We will be back again!
Absolutely the best steak I have ever had. Two things. It was a bone New York that had been dry aged for 65 days. The dry age steak has a different texture and almost melt in your mouth tenderness. The other thing that puts this steak ahead of any other I have had is the seasoning. The steak has a subtle seasoning that is proprietary (go figure) but it really compliments the aging taste. A little smoky, like maybe paprika, but it’s to die for crazy good. It was crowded and a little noisy. It was a little expensive, but worth it in my mind. So unique. The sides are also huge. Hash browns quite good and could feed a family of 4 and then some. Also the mushrooms are most outstanding.
I would recommend only if you: LOVE meat and want to have an "experience" rather than just a meal.
Fun for an ultra expensive, old school celebration, with over- the -top ridiculous prices, but kinda fun to be "in the club" for one night.
The waiter didn't bring a ton of attention or enthusiasm to our table. Felt like like we were an after thought. I couldn't help feeling like the male only tables or athletes were not waiting. Last time we went (many years ago) the waiter made the night even more of a sensation. Since the service is primarily what you are paying for, that is key.
