My fiance has been wanting to go to Mannys for YEARS. For his birthday I decided to suprise him with a trip here! Steve was our waiter and he dis a fantastic job! He was very personable and on his toes! Can't wait to come back!

First time at Manny's and it was excellent. Kim, our server was great. Wedge salad, filet mignon, hash brown potatoes and mushrooms all delicious. I had the house red and it was wonderful.

Loved this place. Amazing food, best steak presentation ever. I ordered the prime rib and split it with my wife and half was more than my wife and I could eat. We also split the cream spinach, which was wonderful, and split the fries, also amazing. Will definitely be back.

Always a phenomenal experience at Manny's. From the moment you get in the door the staff is friendly and professional. You are treated like you're the most important people in the restaurant and the service is second to none. The food is probably the best you've ever eaten and it's well worth the price. Manny's is the perfect classy and friendly restaurant

Food was fabulous - steaks, vegetables, ahi tuna, lobster cakes, salad - terrific! Service not up to our past experiences at Manny's. We did not feel server was attentive. Paid more attention to other diners. We don't feel we have to look for a server at a restaurant like Manny's. Server should be checking our table at regular intervals to see if we need anything, ready to order, want coffee, etc. As far as ambience, no one can say it's a quiet, peaceful dining experience. The noise level is significant. We could barely hear each other but certainly heard the loud people at other tables. This was a special occasion with people from out of town and we wanted to carry on a conversation with each other but it was not possible because of the noise. Great food and really good cocktails but server issue and noise level will be considerations for next dining opportunity.

First time back to Minneapolis. It was amazing to be back in the city. Please support the restaurants and get back to city dining! I’m so thankful this restaurant is here and thriving. So great to see so many people out and about in town. The food was amazing and our waiter John was great. Highly recommend strip steak and brownie🤗

We had a great server. We both loved our steaks. I had the regular filet perfectly done. Our mushrooms were just ok….very salty so you could not taste the natural flavor of the mushroom. Caesar salad was good but not amazing. Our server surprised us and brought out a cake for our anniversary. Impressive looking, but just ok tasting. Great place for a great steak and excellent service. I feel it lacks imagination and skill in cooking the sides.

This was our first time to Minneapolis and first time visiting Manny's. I don't mind paying high prices for a nice dinner, but the experience needs to match the food prices just as much as the food needs to be on par with the prices as well. While the food was good, the experience fell way short. First, it was my wife's birthday and I let this be known when making the reservation. Her birthday was acknowledged by front of house staff, but not by our waiter. Second, we also had friends there celebrating an anniversary at the same time. They received a chocolate cake on the house and an acknowledgment of their anniversary by the wait staff. We received no such thing and paid for our banana cream pie dessert. Third, we both ordered filet mignon and asked for it to be prepared medium. Instead, both were prepared medium rare and we're still bloody. For a steakhouse, I expect better. Fourth, our waiter never checked on us until we finished our dinner and was ready to offer us dessert. Then, after receiving the check, we waited another 15 minutes just to pay. For a steakhouse that is a four $$$$ steakhouse, it fell way short of my expectations.

I love everything about Manny's .... except the steaks and wine glasses. After not visiting Manny's in many years, I've been there 4 times in the last year. I love the atmosphere, the sides and the service. Only having one size/shape of wineglass regardless of red or white is disappointing. I know that is a first world problem, but for being arguable the restaraunt that represents Minneapolis, the should have at least 2 types of glasses. Now for the steaks - the presentation of the beef is so much fun. I've done the Bludgeon of Beef, the 85 day dry aged ribeye, the dry aged strip and last night the double porterhouse. I always order my steaks at rare+. Manny's insists on having a very hard char on the outside that makes it near impossible to cut through the meat without shaking the table. That leaves a crust that is too thick for any steak. I order steak for the flavor of the meat, not the crust of the char. Perhaps they should sear it on their grill and finish in the oven. I much prefer Murray's.

Never fails to amaze the food quality and portion combined with excellent service. Started off with the "Steaken" or better known as the thick cut bacon. Had the bone in dry aged fillet..so rich and succulent... paired with an Orin Swift red blend from their extensive wine selection. Sides were awesome including Cesar salad with anchovies (the only way) potato hash with cheese. When I asked, they did not have truffle butter, but our server made some up for us at the table with some truffe oil. Yep, we'll be back when in town!

Great starters (heirloom tomato salad and lobster cakes) and great sides (hash browns and mushrooms), but the steaks (bone-in beef tenderloins) were a disappointment. Service was crazy good (thanks Nancy!)

Great service from our waiter but food was underwhelming, though dessert was fantastic. Had the bacon to start, ehich was good but undercooked in some parts and burned in others. We were expecting delicious steak and potatoes for our main course, but the steak was extremely undercooked. Luckily the waiter came by shortly after we were served and noticed right away, hut by the time our new steak arrived the potatoes were cold (also covered in onions we had requested to be omitted). The potatoes were delicious warm, but not great once the replacement filet arrived. Dessert was great. The brownie was heavenly and by far the best part of the meal!

My youngest son is an Executive Chef. He often indicates he creates a "culinary experience" - not "chow". . . This was truly a culinary experience. The NY strip and lamb chops were prepared to perfection and the lobster cakes were the perfect start. Kudos to all, it made the rest of the evening with Roger Waters a night to remember!
