Wonderful celebration for a birthday. Busy but safe environment, exceptional service.
A real treat to have live music and feel a “buzz” again.
Food, reasonably priced and delicious.
All in all a very enjoyable evening.

Absolutely fantastic! The food and the service were amazing, they were able to accommodate my 15mo son with a real highchair! As a mom I don't appreciate restaurants that offers a very uncomfortable hard wood highchair so that was a very nice surprise for us.
We had the lamb, the gnocchi, a pizza and the burrata, it was so delicious!! We are definitely coming back, this is now one of our favorite restaurants in Guelph.

Renee was great and Maria the owner is a sweetheart and thoroughly enjoys spending time with guests making them feel at home.

Manhattans is a place we choose to celebrate important occasions because of the excellent food, service and ambiance. This was our first time out to a restaurant since the beginning of the pandemic. The food was for the most part as expected, except for the pizza crust, which was tough and hard to cut though. Otherwise, enjoyed the evening. Will be back!

Waitress was a little slow with deserts and coffee. Had to wait for them and then was asked to leave because they had another sitting.

They treat you like family! We had a great time on Friday evening with live music, great food and amazing service.

The food was amazing, and the service was amazing! The owners are so nice and the live music is really ambient in the best way!

We received very mixed messaging. We understood we had the first seating and there was other reservations however our food took a while to come and our server (who was excellent) wasn’t rushing us or pushing us. We were celebrating an engagement so it was a special night. As we were finishing up, and a person at our table was in the middle of taking her last sip of beer the hostess/owner came up to us and abruptly said “ok, time to go”. We were a little put off and annoyed after having a wonderful meal and service and our waiter saying that he just wanted us to have a good time and no rush. We were leaving anyways but the way it was said felt incredibly rude. Especially after spending quite a bit of money on drinks and food. It will definitely effect the decision to dine there again, especially for a special occasion. Perhaps not having reservations so close together would be beneficial.
We were told 2 hours, which would have meant our time was up at 7:45. The waiter said the next table was scheduled at 7:25, that’s not 2 hours. And we left around 8pm so 15 minutes over isnt long. We’ve recently been to other restaurants and sat there for hours.

This best work to describe my experience is MAGICAL! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the drinks were better then described on the menu.

I went with my two, fourth year, university housemates. We did not have any expectations going in. However, seeing the piano player chatting with tables after his set, couples slow dancing together throughout the restaurant and experiencing overall comfortable vibes, was absolutely amazing. We will be going back!! Families, couples and friend-groups all seemed to be having an amazing time.

Also, be sure to say hi to the owner, she is amazing!!!

Manhattan’s is terrific. The entertainment last night was excellent. The restaurant was very busy and some of the staff are new. As a result the service was a little slower. I think this is a sign of the time due to the pandemic. We definitely will be going back.

What a wonderful experience!! We cannot wait to go back to Guelph to visit again.

Great birthday celebration - the ambiance, the food and the music - outstanding.

Always excellent. Especially exuberant (perhaps overly, due to exiting Covid-19) last night, making it difficult to hear the very fine jazz musicians.

I had the gnocchi...amazing. My fellow dinner dates enjoyed the pizza. The only part I was disappointed about was the time limit, 2hrs. Being of Italian decent (all four of us) 2hrs was just not enough. Didn't have time to have a coffee with dessert.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. Will definitely be back.

The live music is an absolute must! We went once and have been hooked each weekend since. The menu is appropriate for the venue and changes periodically. The pizza is always fantastic. Maria the owner is warm and inviting, as well as her husband and son. Great family run establishment. Looking forward to next time!

Love, love, love this place! The food is great, the music is awesome but the best part is the owner! She and her husband take the time to stop and chat with everyone making everyone feel welcome. I almost don’t want to tell anyone about it because it’s always full. 😁

There’s a reason why this is my favourite restaurant in Guelph!! Great ambiance, live music and delicious food!!!

Our overall experience was awesome. The service was great. They had phoned me earlier in the day to let me know service would be slow as they were short staffed but we were very pleased with our service and didn't find it slow at all.

This was our 3rd visit this year and we will definitely go again and again.
