Food was tasteless and burnt. We ordered risotto that they reheated under a salad de so it was dry and hard. The pancetta was burnt to a crisp. Terrible service as well

So nice to have them open on Christmas evening! They were short staffed but completely understandable. Everyone was happy to be there and was in the holiday spirit. Couldn’t have asked for a better night for our family!

Fantastic service, all of the food was perfectly prepared. Large portions. The drinks were a little sweet but the food made up for it.

From the moment we walked in with 2 lively kids we were made feel very very welcome! Our server was an outstanding man! The food was delicious and the margaritas were yummy

We always feel like family at Manhattan House, and the new crab pasta dish was one of the best things I've ever tasted - my favorite meal to date! Brava!

The absolute worst dining experience we have ever had. Service was very poor.wrong enters delivers. Corrected entrees were delivered with the check.Caesar salad was one of the worst. The menu boasted of Parmesan and anchovies it tastes like oil and vinaigre. We sat by the fire to be warm. The owner kept opening the door after repeated requests to keep it closed by the waitress and we had to get up several times during the “meal”. Never again and don’t be temped due to its proximity to the Redondobeach preforming arts center

Nice vibe. Decent selection of food. Kinda pricey … hard to say whether that’s the post-covid effect. 2 drinks, 2 entrees, 1 app = $100 + tip. Not crazy expensive, but somehow felt over priced for what we had.

A very quiet night on a Thursday. We had a party of 8 people. Food and service are great. Every time I go here and bring people, they love it. Yet it’s always empty. Go there!

Ate here with my family over the weekend. Easy to get a reservation. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was good, although the crusts on our calzone & pizza were a little overcooked. The bartender makes a fantastic Old Fashioned!

Forgot waitress’ name but she was awesome! Food was good and came out in good time. Love the water bottles: look like they should be full of Grappa though!😜😜 Son had pasta with butter sauce, we shared pork chops: portions massive! We’ll be back.

Delish food! Short on staff but the food was so good, we overlooked the lag in service. Our server slash bartender was able to be in two places at one time and did an awesome job. Our second time being here and it’s definitely changed for the better - and it wasn’t bad the first time. I can’t stop thinking about the fresh pasta made in house :)

Rissoto was so peppery it was actually almost spicy. I like pepper, but it was so incredibly overwhelming in the dish. Four of us all tried it and said "WHOA, holy pepper." Gnocchi were really nice in texture but very tiny in size, which is unusual for gnocchi and the sauce left a little to be desired in terms of flavor. Didn't try any but my sister in law said the chicken parm was just okay. Overall a cute place and nice for a more intimate and relaxing dinner, but the food was just okay. Our server was great. Very kind and provided great service.

From the outside one might think The Manhattan House is a local bar and hang out. Once inside its apparent that it’s all that plus an interesting place to have dinner. The fireplace burning and the smell of the wood fire oven gives the place a comfortable feel, sort of like a secret place where the « in crowd » congregates. Drinks ordered - Italian wine and a hand crafted old fashion whiskey concoction Wood fire margarita Napolitain pizza for pré dinner snacking - the tomato salad and Cesar salad both well prepared Main entree - Squid ink pasta and roasted meatballs Both good making one want to return to order more items from the rather limited menu

A hidden gem! I took a leap of faith Great food and service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hugo are server was delightful. My husband, myself and another couple date night! Their prime rib steak and fingerling potatoes - not noted on the website menu is fabulous. Enough for 2 two share with a salad. Cocktails and salads were great as well. Highly Recommend!

The food was mediocre at best. Pizza dough wasn’t cooked through, the chicken nuggets were more like cut up chicken cutlets, dry, and flavorless. The tagliatelle tasted like it was from a can. Service was slow, they forgot a dish, we didn’t get drink refills until we were done eating. Would not recommend, would not eat there again.

We had a really great dinner. The staff and server were great. The vegetable dish was awesome. The meatballs were so good--is it bad to describe a meatball as fluffy? No! it was fluffy somehow. I had the whole Bramundi fish--excellent, and wife had the gnocchi. Both were great. It has been a while since we went to Manhattan House, and super glad we got back there.
