Manhattan Beach Post
Two orders of biscuits (second order didn’t arrive, asked the server, delivered at end of meal and was comped), bibimbop (fine but wish it had stronger flavors, kimchi, hotter gojuchang, something to make me remember it like a Chego bowl), fruit and froyo (better than the version I had in the summer because I think the fruit was overall better, but the table was not into the gooseberries).
I wish there were another fruit option on the brunch menu. Will continue to visit, still a big fan after several years
Wonderful Flavorful creative dishes! However our server was rude and IT WAS WAY TOO LOUD!!!
Fantastic place for Brunch and dinner! I love this restaurant. The food is superb and the service is great. It can get really busy but we never feel rushed.
Great service by front of the house and bartenders. Very knowledgeable of menu. Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend.
Our family loves MB Post! It is our go to spot for special occasions
An upbeat and positive experience. A very happening place. The server, Amanda, was fabulous. At the end of our lunch, We were greeted by Jose, who referred to himself as a consolation prize for Chef lefevre, who was told that we had met him years ago when he gave me a tour of the kitchen at the Water Grill in LA where he was the Executive Chef. I never forgot that experience. He was so kind.
Consistently great food and service. I always bring my out of town friends here when they come to visit, as I consider it an accessible ‘wow’ restaurant in the South Bay that never fails to impress. Had the chicken sandwich as my lunch main, and it was perfect - crispy, delicious, with a spicy kick.
Employee leaving the company.
We come back all the time for their fried chicken and biscuit for brunch.
MB Post was packed and our seating was delayed. Management couldn’t have done a better job making us feel special during the wait. Great conversation, complimentary drinks, biscuits and dessert for my mom’s birthday. There’s a reason this is the best restaurant in Manhattan Beach!
My favorite local restaurant. Try to make it here every time I’m in LA on business.
Great but too loud
I love the food and the creative menu but the noise level at the community tables is extremely loud which makes conversation difficult.
I've eaten here a few times and this is the first time we've sat at the community tables and if you are planning the evening to catch up with friends it will challenging to hear and you would be wise to book a regular table.
A Saturday in November
Lunch with family who I had not seen for over a year
Food was great, the cheddar biscuits are the main attraction for a reason. The Gnocchi was a tasty and the surprise hit. The waitress was knowledgeable and very friendly and recommenced great drink options. It was a perfect dinner. Will be back to try more of the menu.
Delicious food, and great service. However, very loud. In fact, so loud it precluded normal conversation. Couldn’t hear the server’s questions A decibel meter on my phone had the decibel meter from 90-110. Not sure how accurate that is, but too loud.
I requested my cocktail sweeter had to send it back to sweeten. The cheese was very good. But other Food was lacking flavor. Had the grilled scallops, chilled scallops, uni pasta (no uni flavor but could see the uni). The server was kind and knowledgeable but didn’t come around often enough.
Delicious! Great atmosphere and great food. Small plates to share.
Love, Love, Love Sunday Brunch at MB Post. Great Food, Fabulous Cocktails & a Great Staff. AAAA++++
Wish we lived closer. We'd be here a lot more often.
Fun evening with my son and future daughter in law. I have been to this restaurant a few times now and I would highly recommend having a private table as apposed to a shared tables as it is a very noisy.
The food is always good I would recommend the cheese and bacon biscuits they are not to be missed.
Way too loud and way over priced.
Overall, a great meal and a great experience! We will definitely come again. The biscuits are a must, the green beans and skirt steak to die for and the house cured meat was fantastic!
Always good. Go back time after time.
Fantastic food - especially the lamb and the Aubergine dishes! The Elvis always to die for!! Waitress a bit stand offish!! But love MB Post!!
The food was really good - a little noisy but great for appetizers and ambiance.
It’s rare to come across such a unique combination of flavors, ingredients and recipes that you will find at MB Post. Couple that with warm, friendly and knowledgeable service from everyone we encountered, you have a truly winning combination. We don’t live close by, but next time we are anywhere near MB, we will be back!
Had a great brunch today. Of course the biscuits are amazing. So the food was very good and not too large. Service was great. Spot on.
Really great food and great service. Very dependably and consistently good. It’s as if the team, from chefs to servers to hostesses to bartenders, are really excited to show you what they’ve done. Well done!
Amazing server and great food!!
Great food, nice vibe.
Tatyana (sp?) was the best server I’ve ever had
It was a great night , food was fabulous and our lovely waitress Tatiana perfectly advised us of how much food to order for our table ! Great margaritas!
I have never been failed with this place. Not once.
This continues to be my favorite restaurant in LA.
Our waitress Tatiana was so attentive and the best!
Hostess and table service was exceptional.
Dinner for 2 on Friday night, food and service was excellent. Tables for 2 are crowded so get ready to share your conversations with your neighbors! In addition It’s loud from a combination of music and everyone speaking loudly.
We loved the food and service...
noise on the other hand was absurd.
Everyone was shouting in order to be heard over the very loud music 🎧!
I always love to MB Post. The food is original and very filling. I feel at home here, treated like a friend.
