Our server Alana was outstanding!
Covid safe practices in place. All staff compliant.
Delicious brunch!
Great food and service. Nice outdoor dining. Great food selection.
What a year does to a fantastic place. Won’t be going back. It felt like a farm-to-table restaurant prior to COVID.
Lock-down and economic pressures have taken away the gentle, ‘special’ feelings of eating there.
The manager was lovely.
Food was divine and ambiance was classy. This is a tapas style place but size of plates was actually more than I expected!
Love MBP the experience is always impeccable to the care and incredible food, thank you again.
Great food, lovely ambiance and impeccable service
I had high hopes for this (Manhattan Beach) post! Unfortunately, I guess I ordered the wrong thing!
We ordered the Chef Board (aka charcuterie) large $64...what we got was super small so I asked the waitress, was this the small or large?? She said they downsized to only one size (medium) and charged $49. Aside from the price, it was mediocre. It sounded like it would be "grand" but was a major disappointment. I guess the waitress said something and they brought us a separate serving of duck prosciutto.
One a good note, our wine selection was great. We ordered the Bonaccorsi, Santa Rita Hills. Amazing! And the mixed drinks were also yummy.
Guess we should have just ordered the dinners. The blistering blue lake green beans were pretty good...
MB Post never disappoints. The biscuits are a must. Corkage fee of $15 is very reasonable.
Great restaurant. Great service. All around good experience
It was great. It was an early brunch so it wasn’t busy but the food and service were great.
We had an amazing evening with great food, superior service, and a fantastic ambience.
MB Post is by far my favorite restaurant in Manhattan Beach. The service, the food, the vibe; always on point. I recommend this place to every one and honestly cannot speak highly enough about my experiences here. Consistently 11/10!
Awesome service and excellent food. Great outdoor patio. Feels safe! Get the mussels!
Had the best meal at MB Post! They just re-opened for indoor dining and it is beautiful! Everything is newly remodeled and the ambiance is great. The food was awesome, the service was great, and I felt very safe dining there (in terms of COVID precautions).
Covid sucks. Different vibe these days. Slow service. Drinks took forever.
Excellent service...I'm sad I didn't get my server's name because she was very friendly and very good service/accommodating. Wonderful food - came here for lunch with my friend who was visiting from out of town - my friend told me this place didn't disappoint!! MBP just started having a burger on their lunch menu...delish! I saw so many tables getting it -very juicy and satisfaction of that meaty bite in each bite. Yummy ricotta cake and always love their fabulous cheddar bacon cheese biscuits (a must with that sweet and creamy butter - love the contrast of the sweet/salty from this). Def stop here for any meal any time of day - you won't be disappointed!!!
We were so excited to step out with a few friends for brunch (3/28) after the long restrictive pandemic. MB Post has been a favorite for years and I was so excited to invite a few friends to spend a casual brunch in the outdoor dining area. The food was delicious, as always. Yet it was disappointing that our server was extremely disagreeable. She had an attitude from the moment she approached our table and the the food service was erratic - items we ordered were not delivered together and only after several reminders did they appear. Our server never came by to see if we were ok or needed anything else. And then promptly delivered our check without even asking if we'd like dessert...which we did! It's been long enough and not really willing to blame the poor service on Covid anymore.
I will be back but this was truly disappointing.
Parking is the challenge in the area, plan an extra 30 minutes to find parking. The food is exceptional and the wait staff is too, very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!
It’s my favorite place in South Bay. The food is always good and the service is excellent
Remodeled space was very nice no more communal tables. Made reservation but had to wait quite a long time for the table however understandable in the scenario of pandemic etc. They accommodated us with drinks while waiting so that was good. Food was good some interesting new dishes some of the old favorites Still on the menu. I would definitely go there again
MB Post is the most amazing, wonderful restaurant! Amazing food, great service, great scenery...
So great to be inside at MB Post. The new renovations have proven to be quite inviting, spacious and on point. Chef David has added some nice additions to the menu including a nice chicken liver toast which I will order over and over again!
Just amazing all over experience. Jessica the manager goes out of her way to make us feel so special. Shout out to Yellena and wait staff- always service with a smile and great food.
Food was absolutely AMAZING!! Foodie friends that came down from the Valley were super impressed :-)
It was all of our first time eating there, and we absolutely enjoyed it! We loved the vote, drinks, and the amazing service. Would come back again, for sure!
We always have great food at MB Post. We liked our Olive Lemon bread to start with. The steak and pasta dishes were excellent. They have a very nice outdoor set-up with tables well spaced. The wind is blocked, but it was still a bit cool.
Brunch food was delicious!!
We loved the food, service, warmth of the heat lamps, and the fact that since it was our anniversary, they gave us delicious biscuits, compliments of the house!
Enjoyed sunny outdoor Sunday Brunch right on the Chase Bank sidewalk. There is no more dining on the street but MB Post has really maximized the space availability for a great dining experience. Heather served the two of us so nicely and I must say the Blood & Smoke is the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. Kudos to their bartender!! Of course the Bacon Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits are a must and the Banana Bread was just fantastic. I always get the Breakfast Chimichanga because it’s got everything inside it. My daughter had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich which was a big, crunchy, juicy and tasty breast on a Brioche Bun........both were totally outstanding!!!
Was disappointed that Dine LA was advertised and then upon sitting down for dinner on our reservation, was told they pulled it and that it was only available for take out. Then we were asked if we wanted to leave as opposed to offering some suggestions possibly similar to what was being offered on the Dine LA taster menu. Had the quinoa salad which was under whelming mostly lemony. The cheese bread is still the best ever if not better with more cheese in ours. Fried chicken was excellent though.
Great! Service was fantastic, food was perfect to share.
Incredible brunch!!!
Great service. Outdoor seating had heat lamps, which were clutch. Food was also great and brought out at perfect timing along with delicious drinks. Would definitely go again.
Exceptional food and service. Very reasonably priced for the quality. Will definitely be back.
Excellent food and friendly service.
I was super excited to eat at MB Post, I have eaten at the other restaurants this group owns bit I ended up disappointed with the food and drinks. I ordered a margarita and it tasted good but it almost seemed like they forgot the tequilas, it was mostly a glass of juice. The fries that were advertised as crispy AND crunchy were anything but, they were soggy. The scallops had sand in them , after a few bites where I crunched on sand I stop eating them. The bacon and cheese biscuits were delightful but it was too pricey for just some food biscuits.
This was our first visit with COVID restrictions and the visit did not disappoint and the food was as tasty as we remembered. We ate outside with heat lamps that kept us warm and enjoyed the biscuits, steak (highly recommend), the pasta and my favorite the green beans. For dessert we enjoyed the Elvis and marveled at the richness of the chocolate pudding and the glazed bananas. Outstanding meal that several days later we are still talking about the taste.
We had one of the most comfortable outdoor dining experience since the beginning of COVID. The wait staff is clear about expectations, the seating was comfortable and the heater came on just when we needed it. As always, the food was delicious. Our favorites included the skirt steak, blue lake green beans, hot chicken and of course those amazing cheddar bacon biscuits!
Always a pleasure. Consistently excellent food & service.
Unfortunately, I realize times are difficult.
However, we spent over $150 and expected a little bit more.
Outdoor dinning in front of the bank after waiting several weeks to reserve a table was not up to par. Not sure how you can reserve the space in from of their actual restaurant.
Also, we had a cold/windy evening and only one heater to heat the space for 4 tables.
We will wait until the summer months to dine again outside Post.
Sorry :(
