Always a wonderful dining experience at MB Post. Food & service were typically terrific, and our server Sydney was wonderful with menu recs and keeping us taken care of. Atmosphere is lively but not dominating. Definitely one of the best restaurants in MB.

We always have an amazing meal at MB Post, but on this visit the service was lacking. The sweetheart who was filling waters was very attentive and made sure to get out server for us every time she'd disappear. There was also a food runner who'd throw plates onto the tables like he was playing frisbee. It was flat out bizarre. Food came before drinks, etc. Either way, the dishes were amazing as always. Everything on the current menu was a little spicy (we have a spice sensitive friend), so keep that in mind. Everyone died for the biscuits, the fried chicken was glorious and the beets blew our minds. Always a great time. Just a little odd that we had to crane our necks for service most of night.

This place used to have a great brunch. My husband got the chimichanga and said it was bland. I got the corned beef hash, the corned beef had full fat globs still on it and it was cooked inconsistently - some was crispy and other pieces were soft. Service was great and so were the biscuits, I’m just sad the food has gone downhill recently.

Have not been to MB Post for a minute- it was a wonderful dinner. The green beans and the mussels were outstanding. The service was a bit slow but they were very busy. The noise level was awful. Tables are very close to each other and it was very hard to carry on a conversation. I look forward to going back, but I would request a high top or skip a friday or saturday. Great restaurant. The food does not disappoint.

I like the old format of the dining, it felt more inviting. This feels more like a steakhouse now. Also, I thought I requested a table not a high top through the app, which is why I picked this time to eat, but they sat us at a high top, which was uncomfortable, as your legs dangle, and the seat is soft so it's hard to sit comfortably. The steak was overcooked. I miss the old place so I wouldn't return here as now it feels like every other restaurant in the area and has lost its charm.

The food and vibe here is great. Great small tasting plates even larger ones great for sharing!! We were here for a birthday party and we all had a blast. Only thing lacking was the service, super slow and drinks was slow even forgotten multiple times, and our steak we ordered was noticeably warm or cooled down like it had been sitting for a minute. Others times I have been there service was great so I'd still reccomend but wish this was great since it was a special occasion with folks visiting from out the country

Dine LA!!! Total blast at MB Post!! Absolutely impressed with how their “Back da House” successfully executed this Asian inspired special menu created for this event!! The Roasted Thai Pork Sausage with the lettuce wraps and the Hawaiian Style Kampachi in the grapefruit vinaigrette…..you got to be kidding me, both so innovative and fantastic starters!! The second course knocked it out of the park with the Honey Walnut Soft Shell Crab with Siracha lime sauce so crispy and juicy and Pork T-Bone Porterhouse with Kimchee Radish….Wow!!! A grand slam of flavors, textures and tastes and bring on the HEAT!!! Of course my daughter and I had to add the legendary MBP Biscuits and the Black Mussels in that umami rich but not salty Thai broth with crispy rice…..what a treat!!! And hats off to the barkeeps, three hand crafted Old Fashions with the MBP home aged bourbon……well I felt no pain when dessert rolled around, which were Choco Hazelnut Crunch Cake and Cherry Chai Tiramisu, a very nice thank you to the pastry chef. On the floor, our smiling hostess Jenna, helper Cole and server dude Eduardo were the best, an outstanding, professional and customer oriented team led by GM Jason. Can’t say enough about this joint, MB Post and sister next door FwD are my top choices for dining out in MB, friends, family, even first time dates will all enjoy!!

A favorite spot for me to bring friends to catch up and enjoy some delicious food in a perfect location. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Love that the menu has seasonal new items with fresh ingredients, but always strong staples that are hard not to order like the biscuits.

Brunch was an absolute treat!! All food was excellent- cinnamon roll, blueberry streusel muffin, corn beef hash and Korean fried chicken sandwich. The sandwich was a 20 on a scale of 10, I’ll definitely be going back for another one. Service was personal, friendly, and efficient. Only negative was my husband’s corn beef hash came out 10 minutes before my Korean sandwich. I would expect better dining coordination from the kitchen than that, but the food was delicious!!! We’ll be back!!

I love coming here. The ambiance is lovely, the staff are as well, and the food is top notch. I love some dishes more than others (to be expected anywhere), but my favs to date are the chimichanga, eggs Benedict, and the lobster avocado toast. I used to live a steak dish, but I can’t recall what it was called. Come here if you haven’t been before- you won’t be disappointed.

I am never disappointed when visiting MB Post. The food is so full of flavor. This time I started with Thai Pork Sausage with Papaya Salad. The salad balanced the richness of the pork perfectly. Next was the Pork Porterhouse with Plum Kimchi. The pork was so tender and juicy! My last course was a Chocolate Cherry Tiramisu. Dessert was inventive and a true delight. My cocktail of choice was the Manhattan with Bacon Dust (on the rim). Ask for Sergio when you visit. He is fantastic!

We selected Manhattan Beach Post for a spur of the moment brunch. I was able to get a reservation for four the day prior. I selected the location based on online reviews. WOW, our breakfast did not disappoint. The service was spot on. Our server was friendly and service was impeccable. Drinks: Barrel Aged Old Fashioned - SMOOTH Avila's Heir - Was not spicy, no fresh serrano. Lacking Coffee - Great Beer Starters: You absolutely must start with the bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuits. They are crispy, flavorful and delicious. I meant to place to-go order for extra however was so caught up in conversation and raving amongst ourselves over our food selection that we completely forgot. I could have eaten an order of biscuits and coffee for breakfast and been perfectly content. However, we also enjoyed the pretzel and salmon schmear as well as the hot griddled banana bread. From there, our group moved on to two orders of corned beef and crispy potato hash ruben style, hanger steak and egg (chimichurri was quite spicy but very flavorful), and biscuit eggs benedict. I would very highly recommend MB Post. We do not live in the area. But had picked up family from LAX and wanted to take them somewhere great after their flight. MB Post did not disappoint. Our guests were impressed as were we. Our meal was absolutely outstanding. My husband and I raved the whole drive home and are looking forward to returning soon to try our next desires from the menu.

The interior of the restaurant has been redone and is less rustic looking than before COVID. It looks great inside. The food was good, not fantastic, and they have made changes to the menu compared to before COVID. The steak was over seasoned and the best dish was the shishito peppers. We were very disappointed in the service - had to ask three separate times for more water, did not ask if we wanted more cocktails, and didn’t check to see if we wanted to order anything else. The restaurant used to be more open air, with their front wall opening up to the outside, but with it now closed up in their renovations, it was so loud to hear anyone, even the server when she came by. This used to be one of the best places in the Southbay but I am not sure if we will be returning anytime soon.

12 year anniversary of the restaurant. The prix fix menu had a good variety. Food was excellent.

I think we paid around $20(?) for their scallop dish which turns out is half a scallop cut into thirds, and their intention is shared plates. There’s just no justifying that imho. The flavors are ok there’s something there it’s just extremely over priced for what you get. Service is nice other than the just ok dishes

Great brunch foods - we really enjoyed everything we ordered. It is always nice to come down to Manhattan Beach to get away from the LA city vibe for a day.
