We did not like that you could not make substitutions on the meals. The portions were exceedingly small for the price.

Celebrated our anniversary and my birthday. The food and service were both fantastic. We were also given a cheesecake dessert for our special occasion. Totally unexpected but much appreciated! We will be back!

Food and service is always very very good. Our server was exceptional this visit giving consideration to us being return guests and introducing us to a new dish. Only on the negative side comment i have is that the famous bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuit came room temperature rather than out of the oven hot /warm.

Seriously good food. It's the type of restaurant that is comfortable and elevates their food perfectly. There may be one or two ingredients you don't know or haven't tried in a dish, but you can order confidently and know it will be paired nicely and seasoned well. It's well done and not intimidating. Thank you, Chef LeFavre!

Easter brunch was wonderful... scones w cheddar and bacon as delicious as always and we had them both in the regular order with whipped maple butter and the eggs Benedict! Even lighter and flakier than in the past!

The rest of the meal was great too!

And this experience really stood out for the quality of the service. Fast efficient of course but also connected and attentive. Many restaurants end up feeling somewhat transactional in their approach / MB Post is one of the few exceptions to “the usual”.

Love that you take reservations but do not like that you have to ask for a straw to drink your Bloody Mary ... Too many government laws ... Anyways loved the visit and will back again ....always a good time and food

The food at MB Post is always delicious and creative. We have been here many times and have had a great experience. This most recent visit, however, it felt like we were being rushed. We had barely been at our table for 45 minutes when they began insisting on clearing it. Probably 10 different people asked one member of our party if he was done eating when he was clearly still working on his meal. This was incredibly rude and inconsiderate.

MB Post is always a good choice. The only disappointment was the Truffle Honey Laced Fried Chicken whose description says "Lemon-brined and buttermilk dipped cuts of organic fried chicken breast..." but was served was part of a chicken breast and 2 wing pieces.

Food was great but music was way too loud and not ideal for dinner. It was more like a night club than a restaurant . Very difficult to have a conversation.

Fantastic experience highlighted by exceptional food and service. Their bisuits are delicious and live up to their hype. I also had the skirt steak that was grilled to a perfect medium rare. Everyone was a delight. Looking forward to returning on my next trip to LA.

Arrived early so sat at bar until reservation was ready...however the hostesses were so sweet and said they would come get us if something opened up. Ended up staying at the bar...great seats and service. All three bartenders waited on us like we were the only ones there...and the place was packed! Food outstanding and the wine recommendation spot on. Will definitely come here again. Thanks!

The food was terrific. The service was great. But the volume of the music was very, very loud. So loud that all the files had to raise their voices to have a conversation. So loud that if I wanted to hear my husband, who was seated next to me, I had to lean in so he could speak loudly into my ear. My poor teenager with hearing loss couldn't hear us at all over the lid music and voices.

We absolutely love the vibe, menu and especially the staff at MB Post. Holly, Morgan, Tatiana and Tracy are THE BEST and make us feel like family. We love the new quinoa salad and the asparagus dishes! One request-PLEASE bring back the broccolflower!!! We can’t live with out it. It is our most favorite dish and we were disappointed it was taken off the menu recently. As a vegetarian and gluten free customer there are limited dishes I can enjoy and this was my ultimate favorite! We love MB Post and can’t wait to be back. Thank you for an excellent experience!

A DESTINATION RESTAURANT. Worth every bit the 3000+ miles from our home on Oahu, Hawaii. Formally from NYC and if you transported MBP to Greenpoint/Williamsburg Brooklyn the lines would be out of the doors and reservations impossible. The rustic bistro look, the amazing waitstaff(Amanda) made for a superb total experience. Smoked meat board, unbelievable beans, a chicken pot pie to die for and homemade pasta dishes that were almost as good as my wife’s. If your are vegan you will rejoice.

We came here for a birthday dinner, which was noted on our reservation and also reiterated upon confirming our reservation. Not only was nothing special done for the birthday, not one single person (hostess or server) even said the words “happy birthday”. Instead, as we were checking in, the hostesses only seemed to care that a celebrity was sitting at the bar. Was sat at a normal 2-top that barely fit our plates even though we requested a better table for the birthday. Instead saw other parties of 2 sitting at bigger, better tables. Food was ok, but the restaurant was noisy and loud. Mainly was very disappointed that they made a special occasion dinner mundane by not even acknowledging that we were there for a special occasion.

Each year when we visit in Hermosa Beach, we dine at the Manhattan Beach Post the final night of our vacation. The food is outstanding and it just has such a cool energy. This year we had to wait about thirty minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. We were seated at a wobbly table and the server spilled wine on the table. However, the manager and server were very accommodating. We were served biscuits while we waited, the table was leveled before we asked, and the server brought more wine to make up for what she spilled. We were not billed for the biscuits or the extra wine AND we were treated to a free entree! Where else would that happen? No where but the very excellent Manhattan Beach Post. Oh, and the FOOD was delicious! Highly recommend the Pork and Ricotta Meatballs, Blue Lake Green Beans, and the scallops!
