    Friendly, quick, helpful staff. Marty was a great waiter. Waygu burger was delish, shrimp & grits yummy! Margarita was excellent…no sweet mix in it. Flan for dessert was perfect!

    Huckleberry Cosmo and Coconut Mocha Porter was a good start! Bison burger was yummy and the elk chop was amazing! Chocolate huckleberry sauce cake for desert was amazing!

    Reservation system showed resturant a 100% full for all times around our reservation. This was not true. Resturant was 70% empty when we arrived. Food choices very limited. Did not meet my expectations.

    Overpriced average food. The Mangey Moose's name is perfect when describing the ambiance, which is fine. However, the average food and drinks do not justify the high prices.

    Our party of four had dinner at Mangy Moose twice during our Teton Village stay. We had reservations and were seated quickly. It has a casual welcoming atmosphere. Though busy, we didnt find it overly noisy. Marty was friendly and took good care of our table. Some of the dishes we enjoyed were Burrata, Fried green tomatoes, Trout, Scottish salmon, Chicken chili verde, Summer and chopped kale salad. We also thought our drinks were good. I recommend Mangy Moose highly.

    Good service and good food, but very over priced. But I guess that is a Jackson Hole issue. Liked the Moose, just never had an upcharge on a mixed drink and I lived in DC and Atlanta.

    Great food and ambience. The prime rib was amazing! Our server was attentive, yet not over bearing. We will most definitely be back when we are able to.

    Lots of nostalgic and interesting wall decor everywhere you look. The service was excellent and the food was perfectly prepared. Try it and you will not be disappointed. I recommend the Prime Rib.

    Server worked hard and was very caring, the restaurant is very tired and old , not inviting. Needs a much better setup for the simple things like drinks on the second floor not on the first floor across the entire restaurant. Food was at best mediocre and not inexpensive. Trout was just ok not great . They did not even have left on tap Moose Drool from MT and is not the name Mangey Moose ? Lots of wine by the bottle, is this a make believe gourmet place , NO !

    Fairly quiet restaurant, burger was one of the better sandwiches I have ever had! Would recommend it to anyone. Also quite family friendly

    Fabulous appetizers and salads. Incredible flavours and variety in ingredients. Staff was friendly and helpful with my disabilities in walking and accomodated myself and scooter with grace and kindness. Truely five star!!

    This was a great place and great service. They are smart they don’t add on the damn 20% service charge. I gave our waitress a big tip. But other places who do the service charge crap I won’t go back too. The moose was great

    We perused the online menus of every restaurant in the vicinity and chose the Mangy Moose for variety, price, location, and rating of other diners. This was a wise choice and we highly recommend the Moose especially if staying on Moose/Wilson road. Our server, Brittany, was really excellent.

    Just a fun place to see and be a patron. We had the shareables and weren’t hungry enough to try the entrees. The chicken chili and fried green tomatoes were very good.

    Always our favorite place to eat for going on 40 years but prime rib was 1/2 fat, not cooked the way ordered and although the wait staff was very friendly,, they messed up a few things.., very disappointing and will not be coming back. Something has changed there for sure!

    I apologize the Prime Rib was not up to your standard. We have been getting very good feedback on our prime rib recently, so I do want to stress this was a fluke, and it is too bad this fluke was experienced by you. We've had many people this summer tell us the prime rib is better than it has ever been. I encourage you to come back and try the prime rib again. I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

    We have always been fans of the Mangy Moose, but the food offerings aren't nearly as good as they used to be. They have removed the breadsticks at the table and reduced the menu significantly. They should at least bring back the breadsticks or some kind of bread at the table.

    Hi Chrissy and thank you for your review. We decided to reduce the size of our menu with the purpose of providing higher quality food while being able to consistency with the amount of business we do. For a restaurant of this size it helps of focus on quality. It's also more environmentally sustainable to reduce the menu size. We stopped serving breadsticks because food costs have increased significantly over the last few years. It helps us keep our costs down on other food options.

    Able to accommodate a party of 8 last minute on a Monday night. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The vibe was fun and fit the cabin/wilderness theme. Multiple people enjoyed the bison burgers. Only con: The prices however were all over the place ($94 ribeye)and the menu was somewhat limited for choices. We did not get to check out the saloon side.
