Last minute reservations, we needed outdoor seating that was dog-friendly, and we are locals living here full time and only a couple of blocks away. Not big on reviews but in a nutshell, the drinks are excellent, the calamari is crisp and perfectly cooked… somehow not greasy at all. Avoid the crab cakes; as with every one we have tried in Key West they are lousy and do not resemble anything I had growing up on the East Coast. The tuna/noodle dish would have been better without all of the extremely salty, soupy “dressing;” there was way too much of it. The short rib…. Wow… that is literally one of the best restaurant dishes I have had recently anywhere. Tender, flavorful…. Just the right portion size. I will definitely be coming back for that dish again!!! We also enjoyed the outdoor seating and live music, and our server was spot on. Very impressed overall, even with the negatives.

My glass fell apart (into two pieces) when I took the first sip of my Mango Cocktail. It was the wierdest thing but one of the staff told us he had seen it before. (I recommend management change their glass supplier.) The drink spilled everywhere and 5 staff were immediately at the table to clean it up. Super helpful! My date had the Key West Pineapple Salad. It looked beautiful, but after several bites he discovered that there was only a very small amount of pineapple. A Senior Staff came by to ask that everything was tasting good, so he advised her on the issue. She offered to bring more and immediate came by with a very small bowl of pineapple. Personally, as a former Customer Server staff, I would have apologised for the problem, corrected the kitchen staff for the problem, and brought a bowl heaping full of pineapple. Overall, the staff was super attentive, and we can't wait to return.

For the price we paid for food & drinks dining here, we expected a much better quality, we were not impressed with our experience here. Our server barely frequented our table and took a long time to bring things that we had asked for. The food was ok, but it lacked flavor, it was very bland.

I lost my cell phone and they were so helpful for a long, long time and trying to help me find it. Eventually, I did find it back in our room! I can’t express my appreciation enough for the manager and the complete staff of mangoes who helped me so much in my moment of panic.

Best night of our vacation! At first we were not seated on the patio despite the reservation being made for the patio, instead we were moved to the garden which was magical and perfect. Service was outstanding, ambience second to none, food was the best meal we had in Key West in a week and the music was so fun! We danced into the night with other fun diners and made some of the best memories of our trip! Thank you Mangos and Dave and Christi for an evening we will never forget! please bring back the mushroom martini appetizer!!

The place is nice, but the food was nothing to rave about. The drink we ordered was horrible. The musician they had was not entertaining at all. We tried again the next day at the Drag Bruch and it was even worse. The short rib sliders had so much fat that we couldn’t finish them and the lobster Mac had very little lobster to notice. Drinks were better that day. We had the worst seats for the show at the end of the bar at the street side. With people sitting in front of you and a half dozen posts in our way we couldn’t see anything until they came to collect money. The show was entertaining but a waste fir us. Probably would not be running back here again.

We all ordered the special, lobster salad roll. I think they fixed the first 2 sandwiches & only had enough left for one more sandwich & they split it between the last 2 sandwiches. My sandwich had barely enough to fill 1/4 of the bun. There was only 3 very small pieces of lobster. See photos- i broke the end of bun off to get to lobster, but there was none to get to. I ended up not eating it. I tried to get servers attention to tell her about it & show her, but was unable to. But that being said the Server & hostess both were very friendly and helpful. I did not want to make a scene at the table as we were with guests & they chose the restaurant.

Visited Key West with my husband and another couple. We are at many restaurants in the area, but this was by far the best overall! Food, atmosphere, and service were awesome, and it very nice to not have to yell at each other over the music.

The cute outdoor patio is what drew us in, but even with reservations we were seated inside. The atmosphere inside was terrible. It felt like dining in a strip mall. The food was OK. Nothing offensive, nothing I would order again. But the prices were high for the experience. Still a nice fun patio if you could sit outside and have drinks!

We went to Mangoes for a casual dinner and to watch an event on Duval. We received a warm welcome at the entrance. We got the table we had requested. Our server, Chandra, was friendly and knowledgeable- she helped with our entree selections and kept our wine glasses full! The manager visited everyone’s table at least once to welcome guests, chat, make sure everyone was happy. The empanadas were fantastic as well as the Mangoes’ salad and a Pineapple rice dish. It was a lovely, effortless evening for us. Other patrons seemed equally happy!
