Service was slow, forks wasn’t clean, bathroom was disgusting, the crab cakes tasted like stuffing mix with a ton of cilantro, lobster bisque was brought out cold! The restaurant it’s self is cute but the food and service is terrible.

The spicy Mexican mule is a must. We also had the pork cheek and the ahi tuna nachos which were both amazing!! The space was so nice and we really enjoyed our lunch here.

We had a wonderful time at Mangoes with friends and family for a long over due get together/dinner. The inside dining was cool (temp) and clean, with plenty of seating outside. The food was fantastic, the staff were lovely and helpful, and the live music was great and a lot of fun. I am very much looking forward to going back for brunch. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

The food and service are great - I've been coming to Mangoes for 25 years. However, the band that they have playing is way too loud to be able to converse with dinner partners. Why use amps in small spaces? It's not necessary, folks. We had to change tables to the back area to be able to hear each other talk. Then we missed the people watching aspect of the restaurant.

I do not recommend Mangos. While the lobster Mac & Cheese was good, there was not much lobster. And the Shrimp Scampi was mostly angel hair pasta with 5 or 6 very small shrimp with little flavor. Definitely not worth what we paid!

Our waitstaff was seemingly disinterested in waiting on us. No one was friendly or knowledgeable about the menu. Our drinks took an unreasonable amount of time to arrive give the low number of customers. There was no live music as advertised and the waitress when asked stated, "oh, well, they mustn't have showed." A swarm of flies arrived around each table one the food was served. Mangos has been around since I first started coming to Key West over 20 yrs ago. I am hard pressed to understand why.

We eat out a lot. We found several exceptional restaurants in Key West. Unfortunately Mangoes was very disappointing. The price was reasonably high for very small portions of mediocre food. The service was marginal.

Dave Bootle. Rude. Husband told him it was my 60th birthday. Said ok. Asked for a song. Nope. Yet, announced college reunions and other birthdays for the younger group. Zoomed in on ladies butts with his cell phone while laughing. Horrible person. Spent a lot on dinner, ran out of everything. Meal we got horrible! We booked on the back patio but they pushed us off to the patio with Dave bootle. Affluent travelers expect dignity and respect, not to be treated like street trash. Stay away, horrible place, horrible food. Loud and noisy by the DJ when asked for quiet place on back patio. Plenty of other places with good food and respect.

The food is excellent, and the staff are very professional and polite. We were very disappointed when the entrees arrived long before we had finished our appetizers. The speed with which they arrived implies that most of it was completely prepared before our arrival. Our whole “dinner experience” was finished within 45 minutes. That’s way too fast for a Friday evening. While I usually recommend Mangoes for the food, it’s now a cautious recommendation with a caveat.

Menu didn’t match the online menu. The waitress was very nice and tried her best to accommodate with food to match the online menu which is why we went there. The appetizer took a while and once it did arrive the food came 1 min later and was basically all cold. My recommendation is go around the corner to Kaya and have great dinner instead.

Food was good. Got the short rib and chimmichurri steak. Everything came out quick. Only complaint was even though we had put in for outside table they put us inside with kids and families and we could barely hear each other speak even though 2 feet away secondary to the noise level.

We had an enjoyable dinner, and our server Mariana was outstanding. From short ribs to the pineapple salad, from ahi nachos to black bean empanadas - the food was tasty with attractive presentation. We also enjoyed the key lime pie as part of our taste testing of key lime at dinner during our week long Miami/Florida Key West spring break. Light crust with deep filling where you could taste the sweetened condensed milk without being overly sweet or tart. Live music helped create a fun and lively patio ambience.

Unfortunately, our experience was not the best we had or expected from Key West. Our service seemed rush, our food was not great and the price was high. We were disappointed with our experience. Hopefully it was a fluke and others will have a more positive experience.
