We had a couple of starters, a cheese ball and a pizza. Starters were nothing special. Cheese ball was good - different dressings made this something out of the ordinary. Mushroom pizza was awesome. But everything came out very very slowly. probably a good 25-30min between courses which ruined the whole experience. Too bad because waiter was very nice and accommodating. Overall ok food and slow service.

Great food and amazing service! Thanks to the staff for making everything fabulous from start to end. From entering the building, ordering and tasting drinks, to dinner until we left. Amazing place.

Food was exceptional , same for the staff wich were helpful always around when needed..
Ambiance was great same for the decor
And lighting... only drawback was the choice of music... modern italian music would have suited better for an authentic italian restaurant than jamaïcain reggae music and uptempo beats... music should be blending with its environment.. other than that it was flawless and a wonderful experience

Delicious and original, as usual, the plate we built with mozzarella di buffala was tasty and well presented, and the pizza we took was a good typical italian pizza. Great but pricey cocktails. Recommend for a nice meal on a special occasion!

Their burrata is to die for, but every dish is well crafted and absolutely delicious. Every time I visit old Montreal, I make sure to go. Great atmosphere, great service, and even better food.

As we arrived we had to wait 10 minutes for our reservation. The waitress told us right away she couldn’t speak English, and as I told her I didn’t want alcohol she appeared disappointed. Once we ordered, she never returned to our table after - to those who spoke french she was pleasant kind, and gave amazing service. She repeatedly went to the other tables and refilled drinks, and checked up on them. Once we got our starter and salads, we noticed they were missing parts of what was to be included in them. We shrugged it off as it was still very appetizing. After our starters came we waited 35 mins for our meal with no one coming to our table. We honestly wanted to get up and leave. The hostess and waitress were rude, and inconsiderate. Our candle wasn’t even lit like the other tables. We decided to get up and get our bill without our main course as we were frustrated and rather grab takeout. When we left the money our waitress didn’t even apologize she just stared at us and said why are you leaving just wait with a rude tone, she also told us we owed her more and tip. The manager apologized but didn’t even comp anything he just offered to give us our pizza but to me when you have delivered poor service you would just accept what the customer is providing in exchange for the service you’re giving. And to top that when we arrived there was a couple before us drinking wine at our table in which they moved to the bar - but forgot to take their dirty glasses and clean our table properly. Would never recommend and advised our hotel nelligan across the street to warn people of the poor service, and management!

The waitress/hostess was a little rough around the edges. But accommodated after making it uncomfortable. A little loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. Wine selection was not great a little pricey. But the food was very good. I would go back !

A pleasant place with a broad menu and carte des vins, but overall I was underwhelmed by the experience for the place reputation. This might be partially due to the touristic area that unfortunately overhype fine (but not more) places... There was nothing bad per se but I would not return there for quality/price. Surprisingly, No 900 pizzerias has nicer entrées!

Je suis allée chez Mangiafoco à plusieurs reprises et j'ai toujours beaucoup aimé.
Je commande toujours les mêmes mets.
Samedi j'ai été un peu déçue et voci pourquoi ; entrée de caprese très ordinaire, pizza tiède, ''base'' de la musique très forte.
Point fort ; service et restaurant impeccables, recommandation de vin super.
Normalement je recommande votre restaurant, mais après samedi, j'ai une petite hésitation.

Repas entre amis (4) vers 17h30 un samedi. Lumières tellement tamisée que la table voisine a sortit les cellulaires pour éclairer la carte des menus. Serveuses dynamiques, serviables et souriantes.

Restaurant came highly recommended by a first generation Italian man living in Montreal. The restaurant was as good as he said it would be. Caprese salad was one of the best I've had. Great pizza too.

Well the hostess and waitress were outstanding and food was very good. Great advice about the wine list and food.

Front window high top table with interesting people watching on the street.

The grilled octopus appetizer and the mushroom pizza both got an “A” .

The beet salad was really a cucumber salad; well done but the beets in it were thin match beet sticks and few and far between and chioggia beets; not red beets. Not really what the menu described even if quite good.

The cannelloni was very good but slightly overdone; yet the tastes were excellent.

All in all a good meal but not up to a 5.
