I have been twice before and had a great time. I think it was more crowded and the entertainment and dancing was not as fun. For the amount I paid this time was disappointed in being served chicken thighs, to me you should of been served breast meat. Also was so loud in there with more tables, it was hard to talk.

We went to the feast on Friday night at 7 PM. At this reservations–only time, they have special music and dancing planned for the guests, along with amazing pre-fix food. I am gluten, dairy, and egg allergies and they accommodated them very well. The gluten-free pasta and bread is to die for! The absolute best I have ever eaten - we even got GF dessert! So much so, you wondered if it was actually gluten-free. (the general manager is celiac so she takes special care of those with food allergies.) If you have out of town guests that want to have a fun evening – or even if you want to have a fun evening – this is the place to go! The only thing I would say is eat small portions as they bring out each course, and if you want to take the rest of what you’re eating home, ask for takeout container as each course is served. At the beginning, I made the mistake of eating most of what they brought, and by the time I got to the end I could barely do a tasting of what was being brought to us. It is a huge amount of food so you do need to come hungry. It’s worth every cent of what we paid for an amazing and fun evening.

We visited on my Birthday with family visiting from California on Saturday night. Arrived hungry for feast but food didn't start until almost 7:45. Bread was served but it was recommended that we not fill up on this, as the food would be flowing soon, so most didn't eat the bread. Ordered wine and cocktails that took a very long time to get. Way too loud to carry on any kind of conversation. We could not understand a word the waitress said, unless you were sitting beside her, and then had to translate down the table. I had watched a video of the feast and it looked like there were twice as many tables and people added this night. Video showed a large dance floor that wasn't anymore, just more tables and people. There were only two unisex bathrooms with 1 toilet each. One bathroom was broken and my brother-in-law from California tried to fix, as there were 11 people in line, but couldn't fix. There was a line for the bathroom all evening. We did our best to get into the event, and this part was fun. The food was great, other than the raw tuna appetizer only two of us ate (out of hunger), but too long between each item. When you picture a family feast you assume that you would be able to hear each other talk, which was the most disappointing part of the evening. The event took 3 1/2 hours, too long.

Friday and Saturday nights they have a family style 10 course meal with singing, dancing, and lots of fun. Best meal in town for $55/person. Wine is very reasonably priced, so a bottle or two for dinner is perfect. The chef and wait staff dance with you and entertain you and it is an amazing experience.
The food is so unbelievably delicious it is like being in Italy with a large Italian family.

Outstanding over all experience, will be back!

Such a fun experience from the minute you sit down until the minute you leave. The food is amazing combined with fun dancing and entertainment. The staff is very accommodating to large groups and dietary restrictions. You feel like you’ve stepped out of Nashville and into Italy for the three hour experience. A must do in Nashville!

We had an amazing dinner at Mangia. My ONLY concern was how long we were there. 4 hours. It was supposed to be 3 and by 11:00 we were exhausted. Maybe it was just an off night? It won’t prevent me from going again, though.

The main disappointment was the food. We were a party of 4 and a few of us just nibbled on several of the selections (mainly the appetizers). The cherry peppers, chickpea fritters, risotto cakes, and mozzarella did not have much flavor. The pork loin was very tough; we could not even cut it with our knives. Our favorites were the rosemary chicken and short rib bolognese. Both were excellent. We were expecting more along the lines of calamari, Italian sausage flatbread, minestrone soup, homemade meatballs, lasagna...etc. The dessert was tasteless and also disappointing. Homemade tiramisu or cannolis would have been a treat. We enjoyed the concept of the guest interaction, but the food was disappointing. Just being honest......At some point, we will probably give your weekday happy hour a try. I’ve heard it is pretty good.

It was a really fun experience. Dancing, singing and laughing. The appetizers were probably the best part of the food though. The primi and secondi dishes were lacking in flavor. The pork pizziola was dry and over cooked. The chef is a fun guy as well. Overall if you’re looking for a cool experience I would recommend. If you’re looking for great Italian food, I would try someplace else. At least that was my experience for the Mangia Italian feast. Their individual menu may be better. I can’t speak to that.

This was our first experience and we all had a wonderful time. From start to finish the evening got better and better.
Start with appetizers of sausage stuffed peppers and the risotto cake with lemon aioli - delicious. We then had a salad of fresh mozzarella and warm tomatoes. Next the two pasta dishes which got better and better. Penne pasta with a citrus Alfredo sauce and shells with short ribs in a red sauce. Outstanding! In between we danced and sang where everyone in the restaurant danced. The next course consisted of a pork dish and the most delicious chicken dish and summer squash vegetable dish. Just when you thought the food couldn’t get better...it does. Desert was a delicious peach cobbler and take home donuts for a late night snack. The staff was very friendly and fun. A night of good food - good music and lots of fun. Will definitely do again next time we are in Nashville. Will also tell all our friends to check it out when visiting.

First time at Mangia for the neighbors and us. I’m gluten-free, and that was the reason I wanted to try it. I thought I had a lot of options before going but turns out, ANYTHING can be made gluten-free!!! Everything was amazing and all of us were happy (probably especially me), and we will definitely be back!

Too much fun but too much food! We will be back but come hungry and pace ourselves better. Highest marks go to the rosemary chicken, caprese salad and penne pasta. And the dessert was prefect and light. Thanks to the energetic staff who made it a night to remember.

This was a really fun dinner out. The food overall was fantastic though the shells served with the short rib bolognese needed a bit more salt in the water, but that’s a minor complaint. Most of the servers were fantastic and took great interest in the dishes, but a few simply dropped food and left.

I think it’d be awesome if the chef talked about each course. He’s so engaged and energetic anyway so I think it would add some for dorks like me.
