Food was good. Service was spread too thin and disorganized. Apparently, still hiring and training staff since post-covid re-opening. Overall nice restaurant that my wife and I will try again.
Service was shaky—2 servers jumped ahead of each other -was awkward , drinks and apps delayed
The service is second to none, staff, management and valet staff is very attentive and respectful. The food is delicious and the overall experience is worth it. I’ll definitely be back
Very good experience excellent food felt like family.
Excellent Turkish Mediterranean food and great service; Falafel was the best we have had;
Bread was very tasty; We had Salmon and Shrimp for entrees - they were both delicious. Served with nicely moist rice and a nice salad;
Service was very attentive and thoughtful - would definitely recommend;
Fantastic food and extremely attentive staff. We came in about 45 mins till closing and they were fine with seating us. Both the hummus and the baklava are fresh made daily and done on site. They are a must try.
My steak kabob was cooked properly , not overdone and the rice was perfectly cooked.
Would absolutely suggest it as a must dine at for all my friends.
We have been to Mandolin Kitchen several times and have always enjoyed the food. This time was a different story! We ordered the same dishes that we have in the past and they were not the same. The seasoning, the presentation and taste was all off. So much so, that we asked our server if ownership had changed. She told us that the chef was on vacation for several weeks and someone else was cooking. She also mentioned that all the servers had changed, which we had noticed. In the past, the servers where all Turkish, which was nice, since it is a Turkish Restaurant. They knew about the preparation of the food and how to serve it, ( such as offering to filet a whole fish, instead of plopping the whole fish on the table). Now , all the servers were of a different ethnicity and I am pretty sure that the the current chef is as well, because the food was not authentic. Another family near us complained that their soup was not the same and neither was the preparation/presentation. Unfortunately, we will not be going back and will no longer recommend it to friends. There are too many good restaurants in Sandy Springs, to bother going back again. If, indeed the chef was really on an extended vacation, they should have closed temporarily and informed patrons that they will reopen on a certain date.
There were 6, of us, at a rectangular table. However, the noise level allowed everyone, to participate in conversation.
All, of our party, RAVED about their meals... except me. I ordered the jumbo shrimp dish; and, found the shrimp, to be overcooked and quite tasteless.. The accompanying salad was unremarkable; and, the rice was... rice.
Food was very good, especially the lamb. on the pricey side. Service was pleasant and not at all rushed.
This is the third time we have been there and we absolutely love, love love it! Love the owner Berat and his staff. The food to the ambiance is just perfect. I just wished it was near Alpharetta because the place we have near us is not good at all. My husband and I don’t mind driving out to Sandy Springs for this yummy goodness!
Our waitress, Roxanne, was excellent. We enjoyed a great meal topped off by the delicious rice pudding.
Excellent food and service, super clean also. We went for lunch and had a wonderful experience, everything is fresh and tasty.
Several lamb dishes had tomato sauce on the lamb. We were surprised by this. Did not really enjoy the meal. Waitress was very nice, though
This could have been five stars, but the smell of hookah smoke coming through the air vents and open door to another room lowered the experience. The food is delicious and plentiful. Lots of appetizers to choose from. Lamb dishes are exceptional. Salmon was prepared perfectly. Dessert of flan was enough for four to share. If they figure out how to keep the smoke out, we'll be back!
great food, large portions, very friendly staff and a helpful valet attendant. Will definitely return.
Wonderfully flavorful meal with delightfully friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely meal.
We went there as a group of 12 people for a client dinner. Everything was great!. Food was amazing and the service was very very good. Highly recommend.
Great restaurant, I really recommend it. Food and staff were amazing.
Delicious place for Turkish food. Highly recommend the Mix Grill to share with friends. So much food and easy on the wallet!!
Outstanding food, menu and wine selection, service and location. Terrific value, suitable for any occasion.
Roxane was my server. She was beyond accommodating and suggested great plates and dessert.
Good casual food for a Sunday nite!
Very nice service, not a fancy place, thus a great neighborhood experience!
The food was absolutely delicious but they were short on staff so service was a little slow.
Excellent authentic food. You can eat very healthy and clean. Great service
Very good and authentic food. Shish kabob, cheese pita, and knafe are all recommended. Service was also good. Any who like Mediterranean style cuisine should enjoy this restaurant.
Great experience, the food is excellent. The seating for two can be a bit tight.
Great service. Some menu items were not available to order.
Amazing food and service!

Fabulous food, creative menu. Great value
Friendly, personable service. Very convenient location in the heart of sandy springs.
Great food!
Service was good. Lentil soup was excellent. Salmon was tasteless.
5e food was excellent, our server was extremely friendly and helpful. The flavours were to die for. Will definitely be returning.
Great personal attention that have come to expect and look forward to.
Food was amazing - too amazing actually. I ate waaaayyyy to much! Great service, great atmosphere - I'll definitely be back!
Mandolin Kitchen became one of our best restaurants in Sandy Springs. Great friendly service and great food. Our favorites are cabbage rolls, shish kebab, lamb chops. Great place for a weekend dinner.
Good food, but especially good service. Everyone from the hostess to the bartender stopped by our table to make sure we were properly taken care of. I let them know it was my fiancee's birthday and they not only sang happy birthday, they brought out complimentary Baklava with a sparkler in it. I only wish that they had a few further options as far as drinks. I definitely recommend this place for a good night out with friends and loved ones.
Very flavorful upper eastern Mediterranean food. Great flavors and excellent value. Valet (only) parking is unnecessary here.
