Great personal attention that have come to expect and look forward to.
Food was amazing - too amazing actually. I ate waaaayyyy to much! Great service, great atmosphere - I'll definitely be back!
Mandolin Kitchen became one of our best restaurants in Sandy Springs. Great friendly service and great food. Our favorites are cabbage rolls, shish kebab, lamb chops. Great place for a weekend dinner.
Good food, but especially good service. Everyone from the hostess to the bartender stopped by our table to make sure we were properly taken care of. I let them know it was my fiancee's birthday and they not only sang happy birthday, they brought out complimentary Baklava with a sparkler in it. I only wish that they had a few further options as far as drinks. I definitely recommend this place for a good night out with friends and loved ones.
Very flavorful upper eastern Mediterranean food. Great flavors and excellent value. Valet (only) parking is unnecessary here.
Great food, great very friendly service. If you like meat you won't be disappointed.
Excellent food, good service and very friendly . Become our regular place to dine.
Get together with friends. First time we were disappointed. The appetizers were great, as usual! The service was slow, we had to keep searching for assistance. Two of us ordered salmon as an entree, both were raw, and had to return to the kitchen. The lavash came to the table after requesting it , but it was not baked or seasoned...it was like a raw tortilla! Not sure we will go back. We have eaten there 10 times and we were very disappointed.
My brother's girlfriend is Turkish so this reservation was for her. Not only did they have Turkey wine but the traditional Turkish dish was as she said" a little piece of home and the best she's had state side". She was able to speak Turkish with the waiter which made her experience perfect. For me the hummus and dips were lovely and fresh as was the fire roasted bread. A very nice evening for sure!
Took a party of 5 to Mandolin Kitchen for my Mother-in-law's 80th birthday. They were very accommodating, finding a booth in which we could all fit comfortably. Started with a trio plate of dips, which were all good. The bread, I must note was excellent. Some pita, some similar to focaccia. Everyone was pleased with their main choice. We had the shrimp kebobs, whole sea bass, salmon, and lamb shank. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. Service was pleasant, but a little inattentive. I think there may have only been one waiter for the several tables active. Just a minor point. Otherwise a pleasantt surprise, better than Rumi, at a lower price point...
Mandolin Kitchen is a warm friendly welcoming melting pot of cultures coming together for outstanding food. The management team makes you feel at home and truly welcome.
The shrimp dish is excellent as is the Lamb shish kabob.
This is a constant go to restaurant on our dining cycle.
We went on Saturday afternoon for my friend's birthday. I love Mediterranean food and try pretty much everywhere I go, and Mandolin Kitchen is one of the BEST. Server was friendly and knowledgeable; space was bright and airy - they have a nice covered patio area; food was fantastic, authentic from the bread service to the tea at the end of meal. Babagannoush was not too smoky or garlicky, just RIGHT. Don't miss Lahana Sarma (stuffed cabbage rolls) - one of the best I ever had. We were too full to try, but would like to try their wood-fired Pide and house special next time. I also heard they do fantastic fish. Definitely be back for dinner service.
Great food, great service, friendly... love this place!
Good food! Excellent location and good service.
A very nice lunch with my girlfriends on a Saturday prior to a show at City Springs Theatre. The food was delicious and waiters were very attentive. I will definitely go back again soon.
Outstanding as usual. Have never been disappointed.
We had Birthday lunch for a friend and everything was wonderful. Very warm welcoming atmosphere, unique beautiful design, excellent food, awesome service, very good value. Restaurant offers many choices for meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. We stayed for three hours and only had to leave because one of us had a test next day and needed to study. Thank you!!!!
Took my mother for a birthday, if someone is looking for authentic Turkish cuisine and know the difference, this is probably one of the top few in Metro Atlanta. We went at 2:45pm on Saturday so it was quite slow, this can’t comment on noise level. Restaurant does not look very fancy from the exterior, however interior ambiance is quite pleasant. We were the only two tables at that time so our service was implacable. We ordered variety of main courses only to share, all four dishes were well prepared with lamb chops being on top of the chart.
The food was well presented and very flavorful. Portions were plentiful. The staff and owner are friendly. This is an excellent restaurant!!
Delicious and plentiful! Apps were amazing. Had dip trio and stewed okra appitizers. Served with fresh bread, and lavash. Server, who was very nice, also brought us lots of veggies to use with our dips. It was so much that we ended up splitting one main course, the grilled salmon. The first time it came from the kitchen, it was too rare.
We sent it back, and it returned cooked properly. It was a great place to meet mid-week, as we could sit leasurly and catch up and no one minded how long we stayed! Highly recommended.
Service was very nice. Food was a little more bland than I expected but this may be just Turkish food. The kunafe dessert was great. They have great regional drinks.
The service was nice and pleasant. The server was very kind and inviting. The food was just okay, not something very special but the portions are very generous.
Amazing service paired with equally great food.
I am a second time visitor to Mandolin kitchen, I went with two friends who wanted to taste authentic Turkish food. We ordered a lot of food and all of it was delicious! Levrek was my favorite, alongside cabbage dolma and mucver
THE best Turkish restaurant in town... !!! I've become a regular of sorts... can't live without their kebabs and tea!!
Service was great, decent wine selection, but the food was just average. Many compare it to Rumi’s and stated that it’s a better value, perhaps better value, but the food we had wasn’t in line. Eggplant appetizer comparably speaking is much better Rumi’s, they were out of the beef kebabs, the salmon was just OK and overcooked. All in all, just average.
We made a reservation and the restaurant only had two other parties. The hostess took us to a table in the middle of the floor at the serving window. Literally the worse seat in the place. We asked for a different location and they said why were reserved. I told the hostess that they can give us a better seat or we are leaving. She moved us over a little. The restaurant remained almost empty. No one ever came in the two hours we were there with a reservation for any of the seats they said were reserved. The service was horrible. Never checked on us at all! Disappointing because we like the restaurant but it is going downhill. My food was cold! Not good at all!
The grilled fish is the best. They ship fresh fish directly from Turkey every Friday.
The food, value, and ambience are outstanding! The service is extremely slow.
Outstanding flavors and wonderful service.
This is our 5th time visiting and it is consistently great.
My wife had the lamb chops and I had the shrimp and veggies. Both were flavorful and enough for a second night's dinner.
Outstanding experience! Food, atmosphere were prefect for our group of 4 couples.
Great food. Convenient location. Nice people.
We've been there 4 time this year; never disappointed.
This was my first time at Mandolin (my wife's second) - we had friends in from out of town that are moving to Raleigh and we wanted to take them to one of our great local spots.
Mandolin did not disappoint - food and service were fantastic. I will definitely go back again.
I was very disappointed..the food was below expectations and some costumers sitting at the bar were so noisy it made me feel very uncomfortable.
This is one of the first places I have eaten that has retained the authenticity of its dishes and flavors without having to travel to Turkey itself. It’s like eating at home away from home. The food was outstanding and service exceptional, and I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to everyone I know.
Wanted to take a couple of special friends out for dinner, so we booked a table through opentable. Excellent experience overall!!! Perfect food and wine, fantastic service, delicious desserts!!! Will visit again for sure !
This hidden gem was a great place for Mother's Day.
Amazing variety and selection of Mediterranean food. Everything was delicious.
No wait even though we made a reservation. Not packed.
Service was rather poor and matter of fact. Less than spectacular service to say the least.
Great food and service. Weird to have to think about tipping for valet, though. If there's valet because of the odd parking lot, it should be made clear that tipping isn't expected.
Authentic Turkish cuisine. Staff helpful and accommodating. Nice & lively ambiance. With regard to food, the grilled salmon was ok. Next time I'd get one of the meat dishes.
