Founded in 1932, this is a family owned and operated chain of restaurants that still embody that Old World and family-oriented spirit. Each dish is made to order using fresh and local ingredients. With three convenient locations in New Orleans, Mandina's is good for families, small to large groups, special occasions or just a casual meal outside.Come and whet your appetite with the crab fingers in wine sauce, eggplant sticks, French fried onion rings, calamari or the shrimp remoulade. For lighter fare, try the house made turtle soup au sherry, vegetable or oyster and artichoke soups. For the main course, try the fresh gulf meuniere or almandines with French fried potatoes, soft shell crab, grilled shrimp or the seafood platter. Other Mandina specialties include veal or chicken parmesan, open roasted beef or the breaded veal cutlet.
