   Stayed at the Hancock Hotel where the Findlay Mancy’s is located. Large shrimp in shrimp cocktail. Crisp, generous salad. Perfect, tender, flavorful filet. Pricey meal, but delicious.

   A very nice place for a fancy dinner. A few items to improve the mashed potatoes - too plain/tasteless and dinner salad was just ordinary. Steaks and the handmade french fries were very good! Would definitely come back.

    Only suggestion would be to simply upgrade the bourbon selection, otherwise an outstanding experience. Super friendly staff, delicious food!

    It’s been 10 years since I have been to mancys and this will probably be my last. I previously went to the Toledo location and it was very good. This time we tried the Findlay location. To sum it Texas Roadhouse is way better for less money.

    I was very disappointed. I had heard others speak highly of the weekend brunch at Mancy's in Findlay. We were seated promptly and invited to get food from the buffet. Our egg order would be taken shortly. The buffet consisted of potatoes that were hard and dry, bacon, and cheese blintzes, both of which were good. There was also dry pastries and fruit, which were just ok. My wife and I both ordered omelets. She liked hers-spinach, mushroom, feta. Mine was mushrooms and bacon. The bacon was crumbled and tasted burnt. Very little variety in the buffet. I have honestly had better at some 3-4 star hotels. At $22 plus $3 for coffee, it just wasn't worth it. The hotel was beautiful and decorated for the holidays, but it could not make up for the food. Service was also slow, but that is more a sign of the restaurant situation than a reflection on the hotel. Just not enough workers.

    I had the steak and lobster with the strip steak and a baked potato. The steak and potato were good. The lobster was chewy. My wife had the bucatini pasta with shrimp. She did not like her pasta at all. The service was a tad slow. We probably won’t be back for a while.

    My wife and I went to Mancy’s to celebrate our anniversary and I’m sad to say our experience was lackluster. Although our waitress Fiona was an absolute gem, there must have been some miscommunication with the kitchen. We arrived at 7:15 PM and didn’t receive our entrees until 9:06 PM (after the restaurant was closed). We had ordered dessert to go and when we got home we discovered that the dessert we had ordered was not what we received. We called and left a message, called the next day and left another, called later that evening and finally talked to someone who assured us that the general manager would call us to resolve our issue; they never did. Although our dinner was very tasty, we missed out on what should have been a spectacular experience.

    The breakfast frittata didn’t have much flavor but was sufficiently warm. The potatoes we less than luke warm and tasted prefabbed. Waitress was great. But overall, well subpar for Mancy’s reputation.

    Food and atmosphere excellent. The hostess had no personality or customer service, when we checked in she just said come back at our reservation time. And when we returned, our table wasn’t ready and they had us listed under a party of 4 and not 2. Had seen 2 other parties of 2 being seated and not us. Once we were seated took 30 minutes to receive our appetizer, another 15 minutes for our soup. Main course didn’t arrive until another hour and 15 . I had asked if they were under staffed and she said no. Very surprised, if you want to wait 2 hours for your meal then this is the place .

    My guest had the Chilean Sea Bass for the first time. It's all she's been talking about! As always the service was perfectly attentive yet not obtrusive. Another wonderful experience at Mancy's at the Hancock Hotel

    The food on the buffet was cold, couldn’t order our prime rib the way we wanted it cooked, the price has gone up, and our server took 20 minutes to get our drink order. We look forward to coming every year & we’re extremely disappointed this year. Also the hotel didn’t have up the Christmas trees which we take a picture with yearly… don’t know if we will come again next year.

    What a disappointment. They didn’t even have any decorations up. The dining area was similar to a banquet hall. It appears they cared more about packing people in than they did about the customer experience. Food was below average. They didn’t refill items as they ran out. Desserts were very poor. Store bought pie crust!!! Really - they can’t afford a pastry chef at their prices. There was less than an inch of pumpkin pie filling in the pie. Had prime rib the following day at J Alexanders that was considerably better than what Mancy’s served and it was less expensive. I don’t plan on ever returning for any occasion.

    Our waitress even though new, was delightful. The young women with very long bangs at the check booth was very rude. We were 3 mins early for our reservation and told us “you have to wait till it’s the time of you reservation” then didn’t seat us till we asked 5 mins later. She then made an off handed comment when I walked past from the BR

    Dinner with visiting son and his wife. Seated on time for reservation. Once she figured out our pace, the service was relaxed but attentive. The mixed drinks and wine were excellent and good value (for restaurant prices). The appetizers were great (crab stuffed mushrooms and Thai brussel sprouts) and so were the entrees (we all had steak). The food was hot and cooked perfectly as ordered. Desserts were excellent too. The food here is expensive and it is a special occasion venue for us, but we expected an upscale dinner and we got it.

    Honestly, I was really excited to eat at Nancy’s. Growing up in Toledo I always heard about it. We were in Findlay for the night and I saw that there was a Mancy’s. Check in was kind of odd. I went to the front desk told him my name they found it then walked away. We just kind of stood there really not knowing what to do next. We went to the table sat there was no drinks at all. Water was eventually brought over. The server came over and introduce herself, she was very nice. She took her alcohol drink and food order at the same time. Soup and salad came out before our drinks, which was really slow considering the place was about a third full. Our steaks came out and they were just kind of bland. We ordered the Delmonico and filet at medium rare. We were asked to cut into the center, which we did. The center was slightly over medium rare, but that was fine. However, the other 2/3 of the steak for every bit of medium or more. I’ve never one time put salt and pepper on a steak that came from a restaurant. But even the bone marrow crusted butter didn’t give it any real flavor. So for the first time ever, I put salt and pepper on it. The ambience was very nice. We frequent nice steak houses often, and this one was just underwhelming and disappointing. Normally I would’ve said something to the manager which is very unlike me but I figured if we ordered some of their best cuts and even added their topper, it actually be any better?

    Well, we will always give a restaurant a 2nd choice. Obviously there are a lot of great reviews. Atmosphere was nice. Our waitress was very timely with EVERYTHING; drinks, apps, salads, meal and always checked on us. Unfortunately 3 of our 4 meals were messed up. The steaks were mixed up, everyone getting someone else’s steaks. And our done-ness was all mixed up as well. Quality of the food was good though. Appetizers were good as well. We will be back to try again.

    It was ok food. Nothing wowed us! The steak was good but have had a lot better at j.gilbert in columbus. We all got to get dress up for our daughter birthday but was shocked to see people in their jeans. It's just way over priced with out a wow factor.

    We have had inconsistent experiences at this venue. This occasion was very good. They only offer a wedge, other than soup or Caesar salad, which is limiting for me, but the blue cheese dressing was excellent. My wife's French Onion soup was good but unremarkable. She did appreciate that there's a cup option. The 10oz filet was cooked correctly and the taste and texture was excellent. The potato side was also excellent. I wasn't offered the wine list, which surprised me, but I was OK with ordering from the by-the-glass options this time, and they were quality wines. Dessert was also very good. The conversations at neighboring tables was intrusive, but all was polite. Seems they have former problems corrected and I can recommend this place if your prepared for an expensive, but high quality dinner. experience.
