Mancy's Steaks - Hancock Hotel
Our dinner at the Hancock Hotel Mancy’s was superb. My husband’s steak was perfectly cooked as ordered, my lobster was tender and delicious, and the service was wonderful.
We absolutely loved everything about the experience and will be returning.
Such a nice resteraunt with excellent service - a little dark for my liking but I understand setting the ambiance
Ordered delmonico ribeye as I have had in the past and was excellent. However this was possibly the worst cut of steak I have EVER had in a restaurant. I’ll go with the filet next time.
We were celebrating our anniversary and had Mitch as our waiter. He was fantastic and made us feel like we were the center of attention for our special day. It is hard to celebrate right now the way we want, but Mitch made our night so special and we felt very blessed to get to celebrate at Mancy’s.
Food and service was fast and waitress friendly. We were staying at the hotel and had reservations. We were served fast and waitress very accommodating. We enjoyed it.
A nice relaxing place
The long bone Berkshire pork chop with bourbon and local bacon jam was incredible! Findlay is lucky to have such a nice restaurant. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely return!
The overall experience was good. The COVID 19 restrictions are necessary but take away some of the experience. Food was great and thank you for the Celebration Cake!
The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing. We had wonderful service and can’t wait to go back!
Overall service was great. Filet minion and salmon was delicious, desert was also superb.
Steak was not as good as the last time we were there. We were seated between two large noisy parties which bummed us since we were there to celebrate our anniversary. We will probably pass on any future visits.
The steaks were amazing and the service was great!!!
Very nice atmosphere and very good food. Will visit again
Steaks were overcooked. Had to wait a long time for drinks and were not given a drink menu. Had to ask the waiter multiple times for the same item. For the price you pay for a meal, I would expect better food and service
We love Mancy's at the Hancock Hotel in Findlay. The personalized service is amazing!
The salad and dinner roll were excellent as was the bean soup. The chicken chops and steak medallions were very good. The risotto was not good--not cooked enough. The waiter let my water glass empty. He also did not seem to know that we were celebrating an anniversary, so we reminded him. Otherwise he was quite attentive. The restaurant was very mindful of covid.
We always enjoy our time and meals at Mancy's. I cannot say one bad thing about any part of our visit. We will definitely be back!
Food was good but overly priced for a steak. The lighting was very dim. Would eat there again.
Food and service was great. The quality of the steaks was excellent and the French onion soup outstanding. You can definitely use some live music in such a classy place. We had an enjoyable time. Thanks for the anniversary cake.
Everything about this was wonderful. The food was prepared as requested and of the right portions. The service was first class and the evening was topped off with the desert which you provided for our special occasion.
Staff, ambience, service & food all great! Enjoyed every minute. Appreciated all of the effort to comply with Covid restrictions. Thank you!
Outstanding meal on lovely quiet patio. Superb service given by Andrea. Total attention to detail.
Can’t wait to go back!!!
Drinks took too long for the small crowd that was there.
Mancy's did not disappoint! Our server was delightful, professional and kind. She also tended bar and did a phenomenal job at that as well. Several employees were continually cleaning, everyone had a mask on. Even during COVID, they were the best around!
Always delicious with professional service! The ribeye was perfectly cooked!
The entire experience was outstanding from the time of entry to the restaurant to our departure.
Food was just ok, expected better bases on Mancy's of Toledo
My husband and I went there for our 5th wedding anniversary. The dining room was not busy, maybe 20 people at the most. The served a limited menu. Our waters came warm with no ice and our food took over an hour to arrive. My husband and I just ordered a salad and roasted chicken. No bread was offered and the waitress was preoccupied with other duties and diners the rest of the night. Will certainly not be returning.
Another date night with my wife at Mancy’s and another world-class dining experience. From being seated by our host to the excellent table side service provided by Andrea Mancy’s at the HCH never disappoints. The excellent Lemon Drop Martinis enjoyed by my wife only added to the excellent experience.
Wonderful food. A great place to celebrate our 25th anniversary.
Great place for special occasions, pricey but fair for ambience, menu, service, etc. One doesn't think they are sitting in a small midwestern town, when dining at Mancy's/Hancock Hotel,,more like NYC vibe and décor. Only criticism, my wife ordered a Cosmo and Mai Tai, cocktail, were sent back tooooooo sweet etc. ordered a glass of wine instead, and she was happy, my 'Barrell Aged Manhattan was very good...Also comp 'birthday cake' for dessert!
Our experience was winderful. Wait staff professional, knowledgeable and polite.
This was our first time at Mancy's Steaks. We had the Findlay Restaurant Menu, which offered a marinated flank steak. While I realize that is not the best meat, it seems very tough to both us and our friends that were with us (they have dined there many times).
We were really surprised and disappointed.
What a special place to have a meal. Service was beyond outstanding and food was not only beautiful to look at, but was expertly made. The truffle and caviar topped deviled eggs were to die for. The desserts were out of this world. You have to try the bleu cheese walnut sauce if you get a steak!!! My husband had the lamb chops and was very pleased as well.
Excellent place for business clients. Great meal, great service, great ambiance. Slightly pricey, but I think worth it for business.
We enjoyed a good meal. We were happy with our entire dining experience. Will be back to try different items on the menu
Service was great, food was very average for the price.
On our arrival, we checked in at 8:15 our reservation was at 830 (I did not think we would get seated early) I over heard the hostess tell another server that they had checked someone else in under my name still not sure if they gave them our table but any way we were seated about 20 minutes after we checked in. Our server started off the way we expected, but as the evening progressed he was starting to come back less and less frequently. He came to our table and asked if we wanted boxes, as we did not eat all our food, and he offered to box our left overs up. He took our food, my wife ordered another cocktail and asked for a desert menu and he came back to our table 15 minutes later and said he had to step out and asked if she wanted him to put the cocktail in for her and she declined, we figured the bar was backed up, but by that time the crowd was gone there were only a handful of patrons in the entire restaurant and at the bar. We declined desert and asked for a bill and our food that was supposed to be boxed up, he returned with the bill and our food and was over barring about apologizing to us for his absence. I have always been very happy with the Mancy's restaurants and just chocked our experience up to it being Valentines night. The food was excellent as you would expect being a Mancy's. We will be back but we wont be making reservations for Valentines again.
