Great food and service. Our waitress was great and my bachelorette party had a blast just laughing and having great conversation and great food. Would highly recommend
Food was great. Obviously, with any Italian restaurant, it starts with the marinara, and this marinara is excellent. I had the lasagna and it met expectations, which were very high. I believe my wife had the Fra Diavolo and she really enjoyed it. The scallops were a bit firm and overcooked, but in that dish, it may be difficult not to overcook, the way it's prepared. Great overall experience and would definitely go back.
Everything about this restaurant led to an amazing dining experience. I'd highly recommend!
We took a group of 8, service was great and food was amazing. Would definitely recommend.
This was our favorite dining experience on our trip to Phoenix and Scottsdale. We will definitely return to Mancuso's in Phoenix due to the excellent service, high quality of food, and an attentive waiter who exceeded our expectations and special requests. We had great, affordable wine, appetizers, and the salmon was outstanding.
Given the level of service and quality of food, as well as the ambience, we highly recommend Mancuso's and look forward to returning soon.
Service was great , food was delicious, ambiance was lovely. Definitely returning .
Very good food and excellent service, we'll be going back.
Very Nice restaurant! Great food that doesn’t break the bank. Italian American cuisine with personality, good downtown location
Always a great experience at Mancuso's. I think our servers name was Jael. She was wonderful! The food was outstanding. Everyone’s meal was delicious. I had an all veal picatta great.
Service was great. Veal literally melted in mouth. Steak cooked perfect. Lights too high. Overall best food in downtown Phoenix
This restaurant is close to Symphony Hall, which is why we chose it. Prices are very high for what was slightly above average food. Our reservation was for 8 pm so the restaurant was not completely full, although a large room at the back was full of convention goers, who apparently are the bread and butter base of the restaurant's business. As our waiter said, "It all goes on the expense account." Our bill was $140 for two pasta dishes, two drinks and a split salad. I had hoped for better.
Very nice place, sort of a jewel in the rough. Food was very tasty, a little expensive, but good. The waiter we had was not to outgoing, quiet, but looked after us ok.
We had a great dinner here. They bring out bread. It is outstanding. The oil and vinegar is on point. We also had the bruschetta which was delicious. I had the rib eye and it was cooked to perfection. My wife had a pasta dish and it was good as well. We also had some desert and that was good. Our server was very nice and everybody greeted us as we came in and said goodbye as we left.
This was our first time trying Mancuso’s . I have to say the food was outstanding. We were 4 people and everyone got something different and loved it . The service was different story . Not very attentive and very slow . Will we return??? Yes because the food was fantastic and hopefully we get better service next time .
Very awesome staff! THE BEST food! First time in this restaurant and will definitely come back!
We love Mancusos it never disappoints. Delicious food. Great service. Great ambiance for date night.
Nice Valentines Day, excellent service, good food and cocktails, will come again.
This is the second time we’ve dined here. Our first outing was perfect. Great food, great service, great experience. Unfortunately, our second visit was equally as memorable, however, for all the wrong reasons.
We understand ordering a thick filet, cooked medium can be a challenge. The unfortunate thing with an undercooked steak, the house wants to place it back on the grill to get it “right”. This almost always ends up with a much drier, tougher version than a filet should be.
The server agreed they would cook a new steak and “get it right”. Although the steak was cooked better on the 2nd attempt, it had a flavor/odor of something a bit spoiled.
Since we had waited almost 20 minutes for the second filet to arrive at the table, combined with the sour taste this steak had, we asked to just take the meal off our tab. Nothing about this steak was consumable.
The server indicated the owner would talk with us. When she arrived, there was an obvious (and unnecessary) attitude as we explained what had happened. No apology, just a snatch of the plate and the words, “okay”.
The server apologized many times after she left the table, we paid and left. With so many options to choose from, we will probably not return based on her behavior.
Wonderful food and staff was great and on top of out needs.
Were seated on the patio. Ambiance no where nice as inside. There remained plenty of tables inside throughout out time at the restaurant.
The decor is gorgeous; the food was prepared perfectly and delicious; the drinks are correctly prepared and generous; the service by Isaiah was attentive, pleasant and not pushy; the prices will make this an infrequent but special place.
This is a very nice special occasion restaurant. The food and service is great. The hostess could be a little more welcoming. Each time we have been there she has been less than friendly. We have felt like we were imposing on her day. The servers and other staff do make up for her indifference. My only other comment is that the servers should mention the price of the specials. I have been surprised by how expensive those dishes are.
Service was excellent.
Ambiance was good.
Food, not so great...for one meal, the secondary aspects (the sides) were very good, but not the main entree...other meal sucked, it was the DRIEST lasagna EVER, and was not at all tasty either.
Would not return.
We were at the restaurant with friends for the East coast. The food was good and the service very good. It was not our best experience with this restaurant. There were two very large groups there and perhaps they interfered with the food and services. We will go again and hope for a more reliabel experience.
We have been there regularly over the past few years when in town. Was always good. Unfortunately this time the service was very bad. Waiter was markedly under experienced and under trained. He forgot our appetizers, did not know how to properly serve wine, charged us for an extra plate of risotto when he was asked to put the rice that comes with the dish on the side. He came out with the desert tray too early while we were still eating. He did not know how to properly communicate with us and his demeanour was very awkward and boarder line rude. One steak was over done. The duck was not the best. The Chilean sea bass was the silver lining as they were excellent.
Ambience was good, food was pretty average. Not quite warm. Great staff!
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is incredible. Jael is an amazing server. She took very good care of us.
They bring complementary garlic bread to the table which was excellent.
I ordered chicken piccata. The chicken was very dry. I asked them to give me more piccata sauce to make it more tender and they were very accommodating. My girlfriend also ordered the chicken piccata and she thought hers tasted fine. my husband and my girlfriend’s husband got the paella and they loved their meal. Our waiter was very accommodating and gave me a free dessert since the chicken was dry and I did not want to take it back because I don’t like to waste food.
We enjoyed our evening. We were seated promptly. The waiter was attentive. The food was fantastic. It was a perfect meal before the symphony . I recommend.
Awesome food loved the Calamari and stuffed mushrooms
We all tried a different entree. The pastas were all delicious: chicken piccata, chicken Marsala, lasagna and farfalle and chicken- the pesto cream sauce is truly the best. My friend ordered the side of lobster risotto and added mushrooms. It was so yummy! Desserts were great too!
Good location. Good food, good service.
I loved the calamari and butternut squash ravioli. The ambiance was amazing. We stayed for almost 2 hours just eating and enjoying our friends from out of town. Next time I would request a booth. Those are super cool and were already reserved
Great service. Gave our group of 14 our own room. Food was good. No one went away hungry. Enjoyed our evening.
This place was amazing! Excellent food! Top notch service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing dining experience. I took some friends from out of town and they could not say enough good things about the food, atmosphere, and staff. The staff accommodated all of our needs and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and happy. I would highly recommend this place!
a very nice place. We had a great experience for our first time. We will return.
Great food and wonderful experience. A downtown Phoenix gem.
Amazing food and service!
Had an enjoyable meal at Mancuso's. Food was very good. Nicely presented and very tasty. Enjoyed the Pomegrante Martini to begin. Delicious. Would go there again the next time I am in downtown Phoenix. Glad I came across the place one morning when I was out walking!
Great service. Would recommend the filet and the salmon! Good wine selection as well. Really enjoyed the meal!
