   Love this place. On this visit the duck was over cooked some and not as perfect as I have come to expect. Still the best place in town in my opinion.

   Food was great as usual. However, our waiter was abrupt and not well trained. When he cleaned up our plates, he stacked them all at our table, scrapping leftover food into one plate with forks and knives falling off of this precarious stack. It was disruptive and noisy and not what I would expect from a waiter working at the Brasserie. And then we ordered dessert and he brought us our check with the dessert. It felt like he just wanted to rush us. Very surprised since we usually have a wonderful relaxed meal.

   Showed up late on a Friday so hard to complain too much, but it took a solid half hour for someone to take our drinks and every other step of the process was slow as well. Drinks were okay. Food was stellar. Place is very cool looking and you can walk downstairs and bowl after.

   All food was delicious. Mushroom puff for appetizer, butternut soup as starter, and an order of Mediterranean Sea bass and and order of salmon. Awesome! Nice wine list too. Our waiter, Billy was excellent. It was a very fun night.

    Got seated quickly and it's a really small place. For the prices that they are charging, we all expected more. Mushroom Streudel was good and the Ahi poke appetizer was decent, but very small portion. On to the entree's. We had Salmon, the vegetable wellington, big eye tuna, the salmon and the Filet Mignon. The portions were ok, but the salmon wasn't great and the filet was cooked right but underwhelming. The sauce wasn't great and I didn't realize it was served with fries until it came! Everyone else got basic mashed potatoes and a couple of veggies. They kept giving us more water, but didn't check on soft drinks. After all of the 5 star reviews on Yelp and here, we thought it would be much better. Overall it was OK at best. We have eaten at a lot of expensive restaurants. This one was similar pricing without the service and quality of food overall.

    Fine dining above a bowling alley? Yes, this is the place that lives up to the hype. The service , food and atmosphere are all excellent, just be sure to make a reservation , as it seats not so many. Bowling afterwards also is best with a reserved time slot.

    The restaurant was extremely loud. The drinks were very overpriced. My margarita was basically tequila and marg mix but they described it as some special cocktail. Food came out quick but honestly wasn’t special at all. Everything on the menu sounded really good but did not present. Would definitely not go back if I had the option.

    The mushroom strudel and salad was enough for me. I ordered the sea bass and it was way too much food. I am more of a purest and not too much into the heavy sauces.

    One of the top two restaurants in Mammoth. The location is a bit strange, on top of a bowling alley, but don't let this fool you. The service is excellent; the food quality, selection, and presentation are top-notch. The wine list is extensive too. Don't miss the deserts! If you go during daylight, you will enjoy the fantastic view too. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time. They do get busy.

    The food was delicious. Our group of 5 all tried different dishes and we all enjoyed our food. We also enjoyed the energetic and lively ambiance. The service was excellent and friendly and all the wines were affordable.

    One of our favorite restaurants in Mammoth. Food is delicious. View is beautiful and ambient noise is quiet (no noise from bowling alley below). Service was good but somewhat rushed. Prices on the high end but not unexpected for Mammoth.

    We were in Mammoth for our Daughters birthday and I read great things but was a bit thrown off that it is above the bowling alley. I can tell you that it is the best! The food and drinks were incredible! I have eaten at some amazing restaurants and this one meets and exceeds many of them! You will not be sorry! Loved the bowling after too!

    A group of 7 of us dined here for my fiancé's birthday. The place came highly recommended and it had pretty good reviews. To all of our surprise, this was by far one of the worst dining experiences that any of us have ever had. Let's start with the first course. I ordered the French onion soup. It was sickingly sweet and needed to be seasoned. One of the other diners that ordered it tried adding water at the table and that actually helped with the sweetness but I would still not recommend trying this. On the other hand, the butternut squash soup was excellent. Now let's discuss our entrees. I had the beef bourguignon. It was so salty that it was unpalatable. I never send anything back but I had to with this dish as everyone at the table that tried it said it was inedible. Did I mention that this was one of the chef's specials? My fiance had the scallops, another of the specials. She enjoyed them but said that she has definitely had better. My best friend ordered the rack of lamb and it was so raw, I'm surprised he didn't get wool in his teeth. Three of the group ordered the Vegetable Wellington. Every single one was undercooked and the puff pastry was nearly raw, to the point if you brought out a rolling pin, I could have made an entirely new dish. At first the waiter was extremely helpful and then started to get extremely snarky. At one point asking one of our group if they were a chef and where they went to culinary school. At that point we asked why he was getting so rude with us. His response was the waste of food was upsetting. I told him that it wasn't our fault that the chef over salted and undercooked more than half of our meals. The manager Michelle, was even more condescending and rude. At one point saying "maybe this place isn't for you and hope to never see you here again". The service turned extremely hostile and aggressive. Not once did we ask for anything for free and even said we had no issue with paying for our meal but wanted to let the kit

    First time and absolutely loved it! One of our party was a local - he thought the scallops were the best ever! Service was efficient and personable and the food was fabulous! This will definitely be a Mammoth go-to when we are back in town.

    Definitely one of the better spots in Mammoth for a nicer dining experience. It’s above the bowling alley and has a virtual golf experience in the room next to it, so that’s a little interesting, but it doesn’t take away from the restaurant. Service was great. Ambience could use a little work. Drinks were good and so was the food!

    Fun spot - food was very good - you can tell a lot of thought was put into the menu. Desserts were yummy too home made ice cream and bread pudding - I love when the dessert is just as much of a priority as the rest of the menu. Did not partake in the wine this time but was very tempted to break my dry January goal. Next time!

    The Brasserie is a stop every time we are in town. Stephan is always a gracious host and our servers through the years, Channing, Nate and Eddie are always good to us. The flavors are great. Last evening, the porcini mushroom risotto with shaved black truffles and white truffle olive oil was a winner. Even my 12yo got in to it. I always order the Angus beef carpaccio as it hits the spot for me. The escargot is also a go-to. Last evening they had a crispy confit duck that was worth the price of admission. They are all lovely rich flavors that tick all the boxes for me.
