This place never disappoints! Excellent service and friendly waiter, along with outstanding entrees. If they have the homemade strawberry rhubarb ice cream...it's a must!
We had such an amazing dinner. Food and service was wonderful. Chef even came out and talked to us for a bit...love that kind of service! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
It’s the greatest French restaurant I’ve been, and I hope I can come back next time.
We were a little hesitant about going to a restaurant at a bowling alley - but decided to go ahead based on the reviews we saw.
We were definitely not disappointed. The restaurant was upstairs with a spectacular view of the mountains - and you could not hear the bowling downstairs.
The menu, food, and service were truly a 5-star restaurant experience. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
I had the elk and it was very tasty as well as all of the vegetables that were served with it. My husband had the salmon and he likes my salmon better. The service was very good.
Amazing food. Bigger city fancy restaurant quality.
we've been here before many times. excellent covid awareness (spacing, masks, most of mammoth is vaccinated), wonderful service. the sauce on the special Chilean sea bass was to die for.
Ambiance and the view is really nice and the service was good. There were six of us eating and 3 had the ribeye steak which was disappointing. It was a thin cut. The chicken was the best entree. And the cocktails were really good.
Great view and excellent food.
Very slow unattentive service. The duck and elk dishes were horrible. Tasteless, chewy meat that was covered in overpowering sauces. Very disappointing experience based on photos and description provided on Open Table.
Cannot recommend this place.
What a pleasant surprise
Outstanding service and excellent food
Mussels are to die for
Ahi tuna is incredible
Must try local peach ice cream
It’s a hidden treasure
It's our first time to visit Mammoth Lakes as a stop on a road trip from Las Vegas to San Jose.
To be honest, many thinks skiing is the major thing to do in this town, but after having this meal, you can have NO ANY OTHER PLAN in this town but have this meal. It is totally worthy to drive 4 and half hour from Neveda to here through Death Valley National Park.
The Elk dish is extraordinarily delicious. The meat is cooked in about medium rare, and tasted so tender. It's more than perfect.
We also had both kind of salad. They are fresh without a doubt. Also, the dressing complements the vegetables. As for the onion soup, the sweetness from the onions is well tasted.
If you visit Mammoth Lakes, you MUST have this wonderful meal for sure.
If you are looking for an experience that will blow your mind the Brasserie is the place for you. If I told you that you'll have the best Lamb Shanks you've ever had while eating above a bowling alley you'd probably have some questions. Well here's the deal....... Incredible food, great wine list and service was above and beyond. Thank you for making our experience so memorable. We'll be back!
Great food, great service…
Chef came out and described the dishes.
Escargot was as good as in France.
A great surprise in a ski town, the food was delicious!
Fantastic food and friendly staff along with the a great wine list make for an wonderful night out.
Loved it. Frederick runs a fantastic restaurant, all the way around!
Our first time. I booked through internet so when we pulled up and saw the bowling alley we were a little concerned!
Once we got settled with our waiter Eddy everything was excellent. Eddie was a real pro and the chef made the rounds and also made some excellent recommendations. The food was first class. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared.
The mussels, carpaccio, white asparagus and mushroom strudel appetizers were favorites. The Elk, veal and lamb entrees were excellent as was the peach ice cream for dessert.
Can’t wait to come back.
The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Even though it was above a busy bowling alley, it was quiet and peaceful and there was an upscale atmosphere Of course, it's Mammoth, so dress is casual (except for the employees, who dressed like staff in an upscale restaurant). Staff were courteous and attentive and not overbearing.
My special compliments to the chef. My son and I ate out every night during my visit, The food here was by far the best. I came in thinking I would only eat a little taste of everything, but it was so good that I had to eat everything.
Thank you for the best meal I think I've ever had in Mammoth.
What a great time! We were able to get the private room off of the kitchen and treated like royalty. If you must eat dinner in Mammoth make reservations here ;)
Absolutely the best meal we have had here in the mountains try mussels they are not on the menu.
All Favors taste and pair well together!
The chef, staff, service and owners make this restaurant really special thank you!! Amazing Mountain View’s!!!
The Brassiere is a.special place. It is hidden over the bowling alley! Wonderful unique menu and it tastes great. Staff is fabulous our server Eddie made personal recommendations that were exceptional.
The food was amazing!
Great staff. Full bar. Great wine list. Food very conscientiously prepped.
The chef and manager were so friendly and accommodating! The food was delicious! Our whole dining group loved the wild mushroom strudel! We came back to the bowling lounge the next evening and ordered another one :)
My wife and I had an excellent dinner for our anniversary. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. We will definitely return when visiting Mammoth.
This restaurant was amazing. Due to Covid restrictions they gave us our own private dining room. The chef greeted us personally. We enjoyed good food, great service, and a very attentive staff. We will be back next time we’re in Mammoth. Thank you.
The best food I’ve ever had in mammoth . Hands down an excellent local establishment , I’ve been here 2 times now a year apart and the food and service is impeccable. If you want an amazing culinary experience come here, your tastebuds will thank you
We have Been here many times and keep coming back because of the excellent food and wonderful service!
We had Thanksgiving dinner here and it was perfect—great menu selections in addition to traditional turkey entree, excellent service, and tables spaced appropriately for Covid precautions.
The food was so great - The Chef was so sweet and accommodating - we cant wait to go back !
We had high hopes for this place, but when we sat down It took the waiter at least 15 minutes to acknowledge us. When he did he was nice. The drinks and appetizers were very good.
When It came down to the entrees is where It became disappointing. I ordered the lamb shank and my boyfriend ordered the rib eye. Both were between 40-50$ a plate. Then lamb was nothing to write home about and It came with McDonald’s style French fries (pomme frites) and awful sides. Uncooked chopped zucchini and something else we couldn’t recognize, maybe a leek.
The rib eye was the worst steak I’ve ever had, dry and not cooked to temperature as ordered. For a 50$ plate the sides and steak should not be sub par. We sent the rib eye back and they graciously offered another steak and gave us a free cocktail. We decided not to go with another steak, It was that bad.
Once the bill was brought we had to wait another 15 min for the waiter to come back for our payment; there was one other table there. The chef proceeded to come out to the bar and serve the hostess and himself drinks. Very unprofessional while there are still guests in the restaurant. While we were walking out, the “chef,” still behind the bar, told us to “have a good night” in what sounded like a condescending and fake accent, clearly upset that we had sent the steak back.
All in all, not worth the $.
Great food always . Highly recommend the rack of lamb and their fish special is always on point
We had a delicious dinner from start to finish. The wild mushroom strudel was a tasty appetizer to begin with. We both had the harvest squash soup which was delicious! I had the scallop entree and the other entree was the barramundi. They were both served with well prepared and balanced vegetables. The dessert was a warm apple tart with vanilla ice cream. Our waiter was friendly and respectful. Chef Freddie came out and chatted and asked how everything was. It was a perfect evening out to enjoy wonderful food in a very pleasant environment with friendly people and relaxing French music.
Excellent food!!!!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!!
Great food! Delicious wine recommended by chef. Will definitely return next visit to Mammoth.
Food was so good-really unexpected above a bowling alley-Veal special is a must!!
Everything from start to finish was outstanding. We had excellent service with Jason, and of course every bite of food form Chef Fed was absolutely delicious. And he even comes to check on you to be sure everything is fine. Highly recommend when you want a first class experience!
Was a wonderful evening, the food was great, atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice dinner.
