   The brunch menu was varied & interesting. The waiter was comfortably patient with all our questions. Everything we ordered was delicious! We’ll return!

   I really wanted to like this place more than I did. Four of us stopped in for a late dinner and were somewhat disappointed. The food was OK, quite authentic and in the absence of many North African options in the area was a bit of a find. The pricing was reasonable although no bargain, but the wine list was a bit pricey. The service was a letdown, however. The server was very pleasant but unfortunately was camped out at the back of the bar for way too long at a time. Although I'm sure she didn't mean to ignore us, that was the result. It's possible that we caught the place on an off night, so I would definitely give it another try.

   When we are arrived the place was pack as the World Cup final was on its final leg, so a bit energetic! However, all staff did a Marvelous job in attending to us courteously, friendly, & professionally!!! Kudos to Claudia, Amando, and Timothy (GM)! The food is superb, wine list fantastic, atmosphere fabulous, and Service Extraordinary!!!

   I ordered the crab cake as an appetizer and had the oven-roasted chicken as a main course. The crab cake was phenomenal while the oven-roasted chicken left much to be desired. Although I didn't try any, their cocktail list looked very interesting. Although the staff was friendly, the service was not great and it took a long time for our orders to come out. Overall, not a bad restaurant to stumble upon but the neighborhood has much better to offer.

   This is a new arrival, or at least an incarnation of an old arrival in NoLITa. The menu is French and Algerian, with a bit more emphasis on French. The decor is agreeable (tile floors, leather banquettes, oodles of mirrors), the service was superb, and there are pleasers on the menu whether you're more pleased by couscous or steak frites. I keep trying to think of something to kvetch about, but the only thing I can think of was that I was asked a little too often if I was pleased by whatever landed on my table. I loved it, I loved it— so stop asking already. P.S. The prices are quite reasonable for French cuisine. P.P.S. Check out the story on the back of the menu about How Maman and Mimi came to be.

   Properly prepared French brunch with a delicious African flair. Ahaloush made the dish pop and the attention to detail in the hollandaise and guacamole put their diversity on point! Good French bistro atmosphere and you can sit on the sidewalk facing out or at the bar facing in.
