I showed up at the restaurant and the door keepers said open table is not part of their reservation network. Then they proceded to physically remove me and my companion from the doorstep even though it was heavily raining, and dismissed any further communication after that, even though we could prove from the wide windows at the restaUrant that there were tables available. Never have i been so mistreated by staff in my life. Thankfully, the people at the Mandarin were most kind and welcomed us without a reservation, which was tough for a Saturday night. I strongly encourage all potential customers to stay away fron this restaurant.

Service and food were both great! What a hip spot! There was a DJ playing cool music. Ambiance was super chill. Burrata was amazing. Seabass and baby chicken was great! Worth a try!

Never again. I had the worst experience in my life. While I was having my drink I noticed something strange in the glass - it turned out to be an old receipt in the ice cube! When I complained, their reaction was just to bring a glass of different wine. It goes without saying that I couldn’t enjoy my dinner after the incident.

Had a very bizzare experience at Mamamia. I booked a table for my birthday to have dinner with the party and DJ that Mamma Mia typically has. They refused to sit me upstairs and insisted on sitting me downstairs even though there was barely anybody sitting upstairs. They told me all of the tables were reserved. They also told me they can’t make any promises about where you will be sitting but clearly made exceptions to other people about sitting them upstairs? I told them I booked this dinner for my birthday and I wanted to sit upstairs and they told me maybe after I eat, I can sit upstairs. Then they tried to tell me after dinner if I wanted to sit upstairs, I would have to pay a minimum of $300 to buy a bottle for a VIP experience, which I didn’t have to do the last time that I was there. Part of me thought they were trying to take advantage of me because I was an American. overall did not have a great experience this visit. Maybe it is just hit or miss. The food was very good but the drinks were terrible.

not a great atmosphere, we where alone at a friday night with a few other tables. The waiter was litterally waiting next to our table to see when we finished our plate, very awkward. would not recommend it, felt like a tourist trap

Entertainment starts late, don't make a booking before 9.30 because you do get kicked off the table and are not allowed to enjoy the dj etc. was taken down to the club and when I left there was many tables in the restaurant that were empty but the staff still didn't allow me and my friend to sit there

Went on a Sunday was a bit quiet than expected. The lobster pasta we wanted wasn’t available on the day nor pizza so settled for the beef and potatoes which was okay. My friend was recommended a different type of pasta and also had an octopus which she said tasted bland. Otherwise staffs were welcoming

Amazing experience. However, our server had us waiting 10 minutes before providing a menu. When the menu was provided we were left for another 20 minutes waiting to order. Our food came pretty fast but there was a discrepancy with the orders. We were charged for the most expensive steak on the menu rather than the beef tenderloin. They weren’t helpful at all. Still demanded we pay and offered 3 watered down drinks

Incredible food and ambiance. The romantic candlelit vibe is a great accompaniment to the extraordinary service and food. Before or after your dinner, be sure to grab a cocktail or champagne in their downstairs “speakeasy” like bar/cocktail club. Note/Pro Tip: We added truffle to everything, as you can see from our photos!

We took a chance on this place based on the reviews but was severely disappointed as it’s clearly geared towards impressing tourists that don’t know any better. The menu looks good but the taste of the food falls flat. For this price you can eat at dozens of other places in Paris where the food is worth the money. After a pretty bad meal I asked for the check and when I paid I was asked by the server to tip her! I was dumbfounded. Tips are not part of eating in restaurants in Europe and only unknowing Americans feel compelled to do so. I found this to be offensive and the last straw in what was a very disappointing night out. Stay away from this place and find one of the other hundreds of restaurants in Paris with better food and servers who aren’t asking for a tip.

Food was unreal!! Decor was gorgeous. Great service. We booked at 9pm but could have done with a table a little later as it started getting busier and more fun around 10:30/11pm. Vibe was great we really enjoyed this!

We had an amazing time! The only downfall is we had such a tiny table for the three of us and I was on the awkward part of the table. We asked to switch and there were a ton of open tables but we were told no. The food was amazing. We loved the atmosphere, aesthetic, vibe, performers and the Dj was the best!! We loved the music!

Wow wow wowwww! One of the best nights of our lives! We originally had a booked a table at another ‘festive’ Paris restaurant, however we weren’t happy with that so we ended up making a very last minute reservation at mamamia. For starters they were so welcoming to the fact it was so last minute and we got the best table! Everything was perfect from the drinks, the service, the food, and the vibe was 100000/10! We’ve never danced so much! It was two of our birthdays and we have never been to Paris before, and honestly had so much fun. Every single staff member there was so smiley and so attentive and just generally fun, even the DJ was so entertaining! . Mama Mia is one, if not the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. Paris, we love you! Everything TikTok says about this restaurant being amazing, is true! This is your sign to go there. We loved it so much we’re going again tonight!

The worst meal I had in Paris. The food was not terrible but not worth it, and very Americanized. And I’m American. I was in a hurry and this was easier to stop in to versus reading reviews for a local restaurant. Unfortunately it was a close second to Olive Garden. Do yourself a favor and pass on this place. The entire waitstaff was attentive, but trying too hard, especially the girls.
