It was my birthday and I was excited to celebrate at mama por dios everything was going good until it was time to sing me happy birthday. My party and I were seated in a secluded area which was fine but everyone else who was seated together outside of our area they were celebrating their birthday with energy and everything I even went up to one of the waiters and asked them if they were going to sing me happy birthday he said yes. I asked three separate times and finally at 12:12am no longer my birthday I spoke with a supervisor and then the waiters sung me happy birthday with no enthusiasm it was super quick and dry not like how they did everyone else. No candle nothing.
Waitress barely greeted us, wasn’t very welcoming. Got order wrong.
Everything was great until my party of 9 was asked to leave. Waiter stated that we were about to meet our two hour limit. We hadn’t ordered our dessert because our waiter was no where to be found at times. When we tried to order, he said they couldn’t make it because we had to go. If our waiter was more attentive and actually came by, we would have had water in our glasses and churros in our bellies. We had a bill of 1k and they acted as if we had spent no money there. Chef Misael, customer service needs to get a little better especially for parties (raza) who are dropping that much money on your restaurant.
I was celebrating a birthday and had reservations, but only the patio was available, and it’s definitely not the same vibe as inside. It was my first experience there and the point of this restaurant is the indoor experience, I wish I would of been told in advance that I wouldn’t be accommodated a seat inside. Happy 30th to me…
Cool party place! I wouldn’t necessarily go there for the food. It was cold and can tell that wasn’t their main thing. The ambience and drinks definitely were! It was cool.
It was second time there and everything was fantastic friendly staff great food nice music will definitely be going back
It was an amazing environment, it was our first time but definitely not our last
My fiancé and I visited for the first time yesterday. We were bummed to find that even with a reservation you wait for about 30+ minutes. We thought we would also sit inside for a nice romantic dinner and we were seated outside in the back unable to experience the true atmosphere of the restaurant especially because the DJ was inside. The food and drinks definitely made up for all the check-in frustration and the presentation of drinks was nice. The menus just didn’t tell us what came with a unique display so we had to go on the Instagram page to visually see what we were ordering or ask the waiters what drinks others around us had ordered. Overall would return again but mad that I have to book or show up hours in advance just to sit inside. Defeats the purpose of a reservation.
The food was delicious and the vibe was great. I recommend this place to anyone.
Birthday for wife celebratiob
We had a great time celebrating a birthday! The drinks were amazing and the service was even better.
The food was phenomenal and so was the service, a wonderful place to explore on a date. Highly recommend
Me and my family did not have a great time due to them sitting us away from the crowd , we wanted to be under the lights and music
So my bff & I booked for 7:15pm two separate groups because they didn’t allow a group of 8 post covid. Expecting to be seated close together. That was a bit of a hassle but turned out fine.
Then security told my husband not to lean on the bull outside but he wasnt besides an elbow. Another security reexplained and apologized after that awkwardness. Then we were told to not block the doorway. At that point I felt targeted.
Once seated everything was almost perfect except we were sat outside everyone else inside at that point but we booked in April-how is that!? Once the sun went down and the wind picked up we asked for the heaters to be turned on and they didn’t have propane refills for the ones closest to us.
This was my family’s second visit the first visit was similar with being put outside with a reservation and no heat but my friends fam first time. Seems a bit not by coincidence considering our race.
Ok maybe they deserve worse grade then I’m giving but I still had a good time.
The food was great. The ambience was full of energy. And the atmosphere had great vibes. Customer service was excellent
Service food was excellent worth the money place was on point
The restaurant is beautiful. Great Vibes, upscale but fun and comfortable. I ordered the filet mignon and I didn't get my food until after my party had finished their meals. That was the only downside and our waiter never checked in on us once we got our food. I had to get his attention everytime we needed something. The food was tasty and presentation was excellent.
The only thing was I was sitting in the patio with not umbrella was uncomfortable but its ok
Went for Father’s Day. Service was terrible. Sat before other parties but got service after them. We would have loved to sit inside but where sat outside. Waiter barely checked in with us. Over all service was terrible but the food was delicious.
The entire environment is indoors, that’s where the fun is. I made reservation for Father Day 3 weeks before. When my family and i showed up, i requested sitting indoors. When we got called we were being taken outside and i expressed how it was our first time and wanted to sit inside. The host said it would be a 3 hour wait. While we were outside we witnessed 2 families that got moved when they made the same request. I asked to speak to the manager and asked him what it takes to get indoor seating and he said that you have to buy a bottle service cabinet starting at $3k in order to get guarantee indoor sitting. I told him those two small families he moved did not agree to purchase a bottle and they still moved. Disappointed, food was okay and service was slow. We were sat outside under 100 degree weather and under the sun for 2 hours. Not worth the high price food for that kind of service.
Good food just way to loud
Mamá por Dios is supposedly "high end". It is overhyped. I had reservations and I am beyond mad at how disrespectful the workers were. I was sat in VIP supposedly and I wasn't even greeted with respect. I have been here before and I know for a fact we do not get water in plastic cups and once I asked why are we receiving plastic cups and the table in front of us are" she said "we are washing our cups". We told our waiter we do not feel comfortable and we do not like our seats, he said just move to the couch. Like what kind of service is that? We wanted to cancel our food and told them we were leaving and their first thought was here is your bill and what bill should we get if we didn't even drink our drinks? We demanded the manager to come and the only thing he said was it's fine. Like he didn't even try to make our visit better and/ or apologized for bad management: customer service. This place is not worth a single dime. Will never come here again.
The music was way TOO LOUD over the top. My wife went home with a super bad headache and said no matter how good the food, it wasn't worth the Loud music, made her somewhat sick, not really enjoyable to dine. Maybe for a party or dance but not to dine. I couldn't even hear the waiter. The Tomahawk was mostly fat, but the little bit of meat was tasty. The Guacamole with steak probably had more meat than my Tomahawk steak. It's too bad, the service was great, the food was good but Not worth going back a second time to have your eardrums blown up. Nothing romantic for sure.
1st time going. It was amazing! Everything was delicious, definitely going back and recommending it to others!
The waiters and waitresses were extremely nice and easy to get along with!
We had such a pleasant experience for brunch on Father’s Day we didn’t feel rushed and everything was exceptional
Muy rico y muy buen servicio
We went for brunch on Father’s Day. My husband’s birria Benedict was really good and his drink, the Tequila Colada, was really good. My beef chilaquiles was awful. I got a tiny portion of super salty beef and the chips are plain. Barely any crema, barely any cheese, and that’s it. The kids mac and cheese from off the KIDS menu is served piping hot and in a cast iron pot. Not smart. It’s for kids. They aren’t going to be able to eat scalding hot food and aren’t good about blowing their food, either. My daughter burned her mouth on the stupid cast iron pot. The music and ambiance is fun and energetic. Our waitress was very kind, but hostesses are very inattentive. It’s 3 of them just chatting with each other and laughing together. Hardly paying any attention to guests.
Good food and large variety of drinks. High energy and music is always playing. Fun place to visit with friends or if you're celebrating a special occasion.
Father’s Day , reservation was at 10:15, got there early /on time , didn’t get sat till almost 10:40, order wasn’t correct , but the food we did get was good . Very tasty !
Breakfast menu very limited but good also they didn’t have the whole dessert menu available I got a broken goblet when they served my water. They need to be more careful. I could have cut my lips it was pretty sharp. Also I saw the busboy clean some tables and then put the towel on his pants back pocket not very sanitary at all cross contamination at its best I didn’t see a sanitizer bucket. I wonder if I should report that to the health department. I am a General manager for a fast food restaurant and unfortunately or fortunately I am aware of all the cross contamination. The atmosphere was very nice and the decor very authentic. It brings back childhood memories. I took my husband to breakfast for Father’s Day and he enjoyed it very much. I also loved the way they bring your check they bring it to you in a wooden very Mexican box and it has Mexican candies that was my favorite part. Thank you
