The restaurant is decorated very nice, the interior structurally has not changed from the prior restaurant that was located there. Drinks are great, good flavor and presentation. Food is also tasty, we all ordered different types of enchiladas and we all liked the flavor, presentation of the food was nothing special. Waiter was very professional however service was slow and took a while to receive our food and to have him pick up our check to pay. Limited on appetizers as we wanted chips and salsa which they don't offer. We had a cheese chorizo appetizer which came with tortilla's where we would have preferred chips. Little on the pricey side, 3 people, each had one drink and one appetizer to split and one entree. Dinner with tip $200. Would probably go for a special occasion but not my go to place for Mexican food as there are several places in town with great food and drinks that I regularly go to.

It is over rated place I ask for a drink that in the menu is with vodka but I ask if the bart tender instead of grab vodka grab a tequila but the waiter said not changes allowed at all I told him if I can get an order of guacamole with out onions he said not! The waiter name is Sergio. I was close to leave the place but my daughter and wife wanted to try the place.

We came here for Father's Day with 6pm reservations. We were seated around 6:30 and appetizers at around 7pm. I specifically came for the golden tomahawk which at 6:30 they were sold out. Dinner menu start at 3:30pm.The guacamole was good but the ribeye that came with it was tough. The salmon and burger was great.The lobster did not taste fresh (the fishy smell was strong) and was a little overcooked. I ordered the $140 tomahawk. The meat quality was average. And while it was cooked to temperature the pouring of alcohol on it to make it light up altered the flavor with a hint of alcohol (like gasoline). The steaks do not come with salt so they will give you a dish to salt the meat afterwards. Overall, dinner was not bad, just don't come here for steaks [and wine]. The huge disappointment is their wine section which is basically none. The house cabernet is a $10 house wine. No outside wine allowed. I'm glad I did not order the wagyu or $400 golden tomahawk to only have to pair it with cheap wine and wine glasses that look like they came from the dollar store. Service was on par. We had trouble getting water glasses refilled. And it took 15 min just to order dessert. For dinner, they thump up the bass on the music. It’s so loud it shakes the tables as if it’s a South Beach Miami bottle service stripper club. Generally, food is okay but on busy nights dinner here is a gamble. Brunch is a better option and better ambience.

This was my 2nd time to dine here which I enjoyed the ambiance and the vibes. I brought my daughter and son in law and husband for Father’s Day and the service wasn’t the same. I was trying to show them how nice this place is. They asked for a sauce for the tacos- we never got it. My to go food never came back; they didn’t do the lemon thing to our water; we had to keep calling for water refill etc. it’s a beautiful place. Maybe it’s because where we were sitting this time- inside by the parking lot side? Will try it again.

My wife and I were excited to try the new restaurant in the old Blue Frog, Fuddruckers building. Lots of groups outside taking pictures in front. We made a reservation, but were early, and were seated on time. Noticed right away the bass rattling the room, we thought they had a DJ, it was a little loud for an intimate dinner. We were greeted by the waitress with a large plate of cut citrus, cucumbers and flowers for our water glasses. Then she asked "Tap?". Not a big deal but tap? We asked for an appetizer recommendation, she suggested the Guacamole con chicharron de prime rib ($28). A large bowl was presented, enough for several people. Very good. The wine list was 4 wines, 2 whites, 2 reds. I inquired about a corkage fee, for a future visit, and she said "No, we have wine." My wife ordered the chardonnay, and was told there was not enough for a full glass. Hmm. We ordered a martini and a margarita flight. Margaritas were good. I ordered the lobster relleno ($30), and my wife ordered a chicken and a cheese enchilada. "No, we cannot substitute cheese." She got the chicken ($26). We saw many towering plates coming by us, and I was excited to try the lobster enchilada. We got our plates and my enchilada was nothing special, a small thin layer of lobster and cheese, with a red sauce. I have had seafood rellenos elsewhere and it usually comes with a cream sauce, better suited for lobster. The chicken enchiladas were okay, not special either. My wife told me later she saw waitstaff with a bottle of chardonnay. Strange. The bathrooms were clean and a spectacle themselves, with mirrors and lights at the entrance.

I had an absolutely fantastic time so much fun! The girls and I loved every minute, and our host was outstanding! Huge shoutout to the entire restaurant for being incredibly friendly and welcoming. Cinthya, our waitress, had impeccable customer service! I really wish I could give them a 10 out of 10! 🌟 I was a bit nervous after seeing some of the negative reviews, but this place blew me away with its warm atmosphere and respectful staff. Everyone was all smiles! Thank you, Mama Por Dios, for an unforgettable experience! 2000/10 Rate!!

We have gone twice with Claudia as our server both times. The first time we went, our enchiladas were ice cold in the middle and were sent back to be remade. We were disappointed but decided to try this place again tonight. Ordered the same meal and was served cold again! Claudia remembered us from the time before and asked us if our food was okay before we had the opportunity to try it. When we did bite into it, it was cold, and she was attending a large group and didn't come back by our table until we had our boxes. For a nicer restaurant, cold enchiladas is a huge no in my book. How is the sauce warm but the middle cold? Is it even being cooked? I would be happier at Favelas Fusion down the street from Mama x Dios. Cheaper food, and it's served hot. For the enchiladas, we ordered the Verde, which has a good flavor when it is warm. We also ordered the Mole enchiladas. They are the worst mole enchiladas I've ever tasted. Im extremely disappointed and won't be returning.

My wife and I went out for a date night. This was our first experience at Mama Por Dios, and we were very happy. The hostess checked on availability of a booth for us for a little more romantic evening and was able to make it happen. Thank you!! Started off with some queso fundido as n appetizer. It was delicious. ordered the Pineapple and Cucumber Margaritas, and they were awesome as well! We ordered the Ensalada Fresona salad to share. it was enough for 4 people, so we were glad we shared one. I would say it was the best salad I had ever eaten in a restaurant, no kidding. They utilized the freshest veggies, strawberries and pears around. My wife had the Surf and Turf( Half a 9 oz. lobster and a filet mignon). She was very pleased with her choice. I had the 10oz Ribeye with a garlic/soy special sauce on the side. it was delicious! A couple more margarita's and we were stuffed and feeling good. We finished the evening off with a desert cocktail called Winnie the Pooh and a piece of cheesecake. It just kept getting better and better, lol. A photographer came by the table to take some pictures for us as well. I imagine she was selling them, but we did not partake in that option. What a great evening we had! Our server Linda was awesome. Very attentive and explained things that we asked. if she didn't know she went and found out real quick. We will definitely be back.
