   Waited 15 minutes before the waiter arrived to order drinks. Had to go back to the bar twice, once for refills and second for the check. Food was good but the fries were cold. Crazy to have a reservation and got below par service. Will not be going back anytime soon.

   The food is always good. The service was excellent. My coffee was cold though, it should’ve been hot. Other than that, all else was SUPERB!!

   My family of 3 dined for dinner. The chicken that my daughter had was wonderful. My mother ordered the crab meat/fried green tomatoes. The kitchen had added too much spice and she was not able to eat them and her mouth broke out in blisters. I had a blt salad that was pretty good but did have some wilted lettuce pieces.

   Went back to give it another try. I was blown away at how great the service was! The food was amazing! Tastes like your sitting at grandmaw’s table or a Sunday eating at a Baptist church! Will definitely recommend to everyone.

   Our reservation was at 7:00, we were seated upon arrival. At 7:30 I asked for someone to take our drink order. Placed food order when they took the drink order. Started getting our food one at a time at 8:00. To be told since they were closing there was no bread for our meal. I ordered the vegetable plate to be told they were out of several items. Very bad experience.

    The food is great here. I’m stuck on the beef stew but I’ve tried other stuff. All excellent. The chicken and dumplings has more chicken in it than I’ve ever seen. And the taste is worth the trip. I’m always surprised and what a great deal the food and the serving size is always large enough for us to take some home. We always call or use their website and have no problem getting in. Service is great. I’ll be back

    I have visited when it first opening up the menu was a much bigger ..The food is good and hot ..I only got two complaints the waitress wasn’t hand on with checking on us ..The collards green was can I wanting them to be fresh

    Food and service excellent, but here is the but. I was very disappointed that they no longer have the whole chicken available. My group has loved the whole chicken option with the two family sides. Please bring this back. The chicken is great, we had the half chicken and it only came with one regular side, so lots of other ordering to make up the difference to get our regular order.

    Very disappointed. Food was tasteless. Fried chicken crunchy but no flavor, ocra was cold, mashed potatoes tasteless. Butter I think was honey butter but not sure. Had to ask for rolls which were just OK. Servers started cleaning tables off and closing down before we even left. Will not return.

    Great food on New Years Eve, the special was 12 oz New Your Strip Steak with wild mushroom Ragout, Parmesan layered potatoes, Collard Greens and it came with a Cheese cake dessert that was amazing all for $19.99. Live music in the evening. Love this place and reservations are recommended.

    Disappointed. Was not aware located in casino. 4 in party..enjoyed my entree but can’t say the same for the other three; however, ordered ham, eggs and grits…charged extra for grits although not stated on the menu. Can’t imagine having ham and eggs without grits! Obviously, a mistake.

    The food was great. The Hunch Punch was weak and had to much lime in it. The bar tender disappeared for a long time and I didn't get to let him know. I had to wait for a long period of time to pay my check because the bar tender was gone and I was paying with cash.

    The quality of the food was poor. Oysters were bad. Catfish was freezer burnt. Had to ask for water 3 times. We tried to watch the ballgame as were sat in the bar area but couldn't see the TV with all the kitchen staff blocking our view. Server took appetizer order but didn't put in in until we made our entre order so everything came out at once.

    We have dined here several times and pleased each time. We have had hamburger, pork chops, catfish, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, okra, and sweet tater casserole. Recommend all but the meatloaf. Staff has always been friendly and made dining experience pleasant. You can also make reservations ahead of time which is a plus.

    Our server was excellent. She was very friendly and attentive. The food left something to be desired. The crab cakes appetizers were not fully cooked. The chicken was AWESOME though. The burger was excellent too. The “chargrilled” oysters were VERY undercooked…they looked raw!! The topping on the oysters was soft and soggy.
