   Excellent food, ambience & location in downtown Portland. It was my birthday that I was celebrating with family which made it all the more special (thanks for the free dessert on the occasion).

   The food was fantastic, first off. Attention of the wait staff was great, did not feel rushed or forgotten, HUGE plus in this industry!!! Had the Chicken Marsala and it was delicious! Drink portions were ample and worth the price! I would recommend this place to an "out of towner".

   We have gone to this restaurant several times for our Anniversary dinner (this being our 43rd!) and they never disappoint. Service was excellent, I stepped it up a bit and ordered an Amerone, had the veal picatta (perfectly lemony and tender) and my wife had the Cioppino (deliciously spicy) with the seafoods added at different times so none were overcooked. And the desserts! I had the tiramisu (light and flavorful) and my wife had the Affogato and it was delicious. The coffee was hot and delicious.

   Came here to grab a delicious pasta dinner with a friend. Mama Mia did not disappoint! We each ordered a pasta dish and shared a salad - the food was solid, and we enjoyed all of it. The service was friendly and efficient. We’ll be back!

   To think I've lived in oregon all my life and never once came to this restaurant. The inside really made me feel like i was in a Italian restaurant. The music was quiet nice as well, made it feel more relaxed. The alcohol is definitely better than most and the food…worth every penny.

   The sever was mad my husband and brother in law went to order drinks at the bar, it went down hill from there.. she took a long time to come back to our table. It was not very busy, the food came out very cold at that point it was even worth eating!

    We were greeted as soon we walked into the restaurant. The hostess/waitress did a great job in getting us seated within a few minutes of walking in. Once seated we waited a few minutes to place our order. The drinks and food came out soon after that and it tasted great. Waitress kept checking in on us every few minutes and remembered that we were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and made sure she got her free dessert. We were extremely satisfied with the service and will definitely be going back.

    We asked for recommendations and purchased the top two. They were both very disappointing. Our desert (Bookie) was compared to the cookies at Subway sandwiche shop. We came to the conclusion Subway is a much better desert

    We were lucky to score a last min reservation for v-day. We had never been here but were impressed! Satisfied with food and service was A1. Waitress was amazing, checked on us the perfect amount, made sure water was never empty, and was super bubbly and kind. Food was 10/10. We got the garlic bread (duh), fried zucchini (the 2 sauces that came with these were amazing we dipped our bread in it as well), spaghetti with vegan meatballs, Alfredo fettuccine, Ceasar salad, strawberry cheesecake and the browkie. Everything was so flavorful, so fresh tasting, so delicious. I know everything we got was so basic but they’re classics. We’re definitely going back.

    Service was slow and took 25 minutes to order and get three glasses or wine. No organization behind the bar. It looked like no one had a set job. The food was excellent!! Waiting on being acknowledged by waiter and slow service needs to be worked on.

    Spaghetti that came with my veal parmigiana was cold and looked/tasted like canned spaghetti. My wife's Scampi Fettuchini did not have good seasoning and tasted very old (frozen).

    Great food! Great service! Great place to get food. Yes it is OUTSTANDINGLY expensive and over priced but it is great service great food. If their prices weren’t to high I guarantee the waiters would get a higher cash tip. Not everyone has $100 for a two person meal. Lower the prices and see more return customers as well as new customers! People will have more money to spend and realize that it was a great deal and come back often. The prices here are to expensive to eat even one a month. Maybe one a year but not weekly or monthly. Lower eveything by 45% and see your customer base sky rocket

    it was just like….not that good? both dishes were pretty bland, was so hot it seemed like it was reheated. the server was nice. probably won’t be spending $100 for that again.

    Great ambiance, located in downtown Portland near the river. Portions could be slightly bigger, although there was plenty of food on the plate. It's pasta, pile it up.

    The Prawn Scampi and Bolognese are excellent! The caesar salad is really good, just very small. Great wines by the glass and ambiance. I eat here every time I come to Portland.

    Lovely environment. The quality of the food is good. Great place for a date, get together or even just a treat. The server was friendly but didn’t make recommendations or share if there were specials. The drink I ordered from the menu wasn’t available. A bit more attention would have been nice.

    We love eating here when visiting Portland. My husband is from the East Coast and considers the food “old school” Italian food. The service is always stellar. Don’t forget to ask for the free focaccia bread.

    We dined here recently for a birthday dinner. The food was delicious but what stood out was the service. Our waiter, Christian, was an incredible addition to the night. From wine recommendations to date night ideas, his service made the night a 5-star experience.

    Loved everything about this place! The menu was diverse and appropriately priced. The service staff were great and always ready to answer questions or fill up your water. The bar there looks fantastic and fun, but we weren't able to enjoy libations. Definitely coming back to try out other items on the menu.

    I came with 3 friends to celebrate my birthday and take advantage of the VIP birthday deal. The service was absolutely excellent and the food was delicious. My birthday dessert-tiramisu - was as good as any I’d had last summer in Italy. And the whole restaurant sang happy birthday to me. What a memorable experience. Thank you.

    Mama Mia did not disappoint. The only thing we didn’t like was the new decor. The light round tables and new light grey floor look cheap. Whereas before, it looked nicer.
