Encouraged by the success and popularity of Malverleys Gardens, founder Emily von Opel is looking forward to opening Malverleys Farm & Dining in Spring 2023. The new space will include a small restaurant, deli, gift shop and lecture space. Emily hopes to add to the sense of community in the area, while creating a new place to meet for coffee, enjoy wholesome food, and pick up fresh produce.

With sustainability and conservation at its core, the venue will provide an outlet immersed in the countryside where friends and family can meet, or those seeking time to themselves can enjoy the comfortable, tranquil atmosphere. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase sustainably sourced products, attend horticultural workshops, and dine in the restaurant where ingredients will be seasonal and often grown on-site in the market garden. Emily is keen to focus on the artisan’s highly skilled industry and offer excellent quality, handmade, and unique items to the market.

Delightful lunch in a stylish space. Charming, efficient service and some creative cooking, using seasonal ingredients.The starters were the pick: loved the salsify and the pickled vegetables with wonderfully rich and complex goats’ cheese. . Excellent crusty bread and butter. The Maltagliata was a bit too similar with its cheese topping and slightly sloppy texture. Our birthday guest loved the ambience.

An absolutely wonderful lunch at Malverleys to celebrate our friends 60th. The service is exceptional. The lovely waitress was so welcoming and knowledgable about all the food and drink pairing. The Sunday lunch starters were out of this world and so varied followed by a delicious roast chicken and accompaniments. It felt incredibly special, in a warm and contemporary informal way. We felt it was incredibly good value for money and will definitely return. Thank you

It was Exceptional. It is deliberate, well planned and brilliantly executed. Simple friendly relaxed elegance. The food, service, setting and atmosphere all exceptional. We will be back. The team should be so proud of themselves and in todays climate of food cost / staffing issues how seamlessly they deliver a flawless experience. I cannot say enough good things about it, we had a wonderful lunch that extended into an afternoon in the garden with a dog and 1 year old toddler, it was easy and informal but attentive service. We felt really looked after the food was delicious and looked beautiful - such a treat. Nothing was too much trouble. The small farm shop and gifting shop wonderful too. Just go, you won’t be disappointed. We’ve already booked again.

This was our fourth visit and it still managed to wow us and we will be back for more.... The food is delicious and fresh, service is brilliant and everybody so friendly especially lovely David! Wine and cocktails are great and the venue is beautiful. Excellent value for money. See you again soon and thank you for looking after us so well.

Beautiful place. The only issue we had was you don't get a choice of 2 courses. You cannot opt to have a main and dessert. You have to have the starters as they come to your table as sharing plates. You also don't know what is on the menu until you get there. All that said the service is excellent and the location stunning.

We had delicious first course which was made with fresh produce. Couldn’t fault the soup. Pasta course was very disappointing. Wish we had gone from first course to a pudding! It would easily have been a very delicious and satisfying meal. General ambience was nice and staff super attentive and polite.

A lovely evening at Malverleys on Friday. The beautiful, comfortable, stylish surroundings felt very welcoming. Excellent food, compliments to Hugh the chef for some delicious tastes. Particular favourites were Panisse and lovage mayo, cheese and Eccles and Peters Pickle. It may have been ‘Aperivito’ but there was plenty of food and we left happily full. A big thank you to David and his team for a splendid evening with particular thanks to Felix who looked after us exceptionally well. We will definitely be visiting again.

Wonderful lunch - great, fresh food - there is one menu and it is vegetarian. Really excellent quality. The amount of food was very good. One comment - we did feel that £5 for a bowl of lettuce leaves (literally just that) was far too expensive. £2.50 would be much fairer.

Wonderful evening at Malverleys for the first of their Cocktails & Small Plates evenings. The sun shone through the patio windows in a rare appearance, lending a warm and ethereal ambience to the experience. The service was top notch as usual and the food was fresh and perfectly seasoned and matched with piquant sauces. But the star of the piece was the cocktails. Made with super fresh, local fruits they were irrestible!

An excellent menu but, initially I was surprised it was vegetarian. I understand and fully support using your own produce and I didn’t want for anything, just would have liked to have been aware so I could have checked with my guests. All absolutely loved everything.
