In general, I love Malone's. Great food and high value. Unfortunately, the Hamburg restaurant has a bad house fly problem. There were flies swarming all around our table and food. I recommend they close down and fix this nasty problem to avoid unfortunate reviews like this.
The wait staff was amazing. Courteous, friendly and just enough checking back on us time!
Felt very rushed to order and eat. Asked if we wanted a box while we were still eating. Would we like dessert ? As we were eating our steaks. Bill came while we were still eating!!!
Tv was right above our table in restaurant. To be expected in the bar but not while we were enjoying a relaxing dinner.
Sweeping under table next to us - almost like they were trying to prepare to close at 8:45.
On the good side, the prime NY strip steaks were perfect!!! And, people were nice. Just seemed like they were trained to serve fast food not $55 steaks and wine
My fish was overcooked and so highly seasoned that it just tasted like pepper and salt. The waitress clearly had other things to do besides wait on us. We waited for the check at least 15 minutes. Malones is not the value it once was....maybe too much success?
I had the peach & shrimp salad. Peaches were not ripe & hard as a brick! Shrimp & the rest of the salad was delicious. Husband ‘s meal was great!
Food and service was great. Only thing didn’t like was table close to me saying MF and F word with 4 small kids at next table beside them
Great service and food during Restaurant week
Fabulous food and Sergio was a great waiter. Definitely would go back
Came here for Restaurant week in Lexington! Really good food!
Food was great! Server—-Sergio was SUPER! He made the evening more delightful👍👍👍. Highly recommend for a fun evening with friends😊😊😊
I ❤Malone's. Great food, delicious steaks.
This is a favorite restaurant of ours. The potatoe croquettes are a must have. I just had the Randall Cobb for Restaurant Week, and what a delicious bone in filet. The food and atmosphere are comforting and consistent, while continuing to offer interesting specials that keep us coming back. The price is a good value for quality food and service.
Thank you Malone's and BHG.
Food was delicious. Atmosphere much more casual than we had experienced in the past.
The server needed to argue about recycling in Lexington I think he needed us to know how smart he was. I just wanted to have a nice dinner out with my husband and daughter. His service was okay but he kept interjecting himself in our conservation.
Service was great. They accommodated what I wanted to watch on tv
You can never go wrong with Malone’s. The service and quality of their food always supersedes our expectations!
Food was great as always. Server delivered salad minutes before main course. No time to enjoy salad. Felt rushed
I've eaten in some of the finest restaurants all over the country and Malone's is at the top of my list for the absolute best! Food was prepared to perfection and service excellent.
The beef patty used for the Burger Week was not that great. I ate at Drakes the following day and ordered the classic burger. It was delicious!
Visiting my mom
Great meal-service never disrupted conversation!
Sadly, over the last couple years the food and service at this Malone's has declined. The last visit may be the last time I dine at this restaurant. For starters my filet was over-salted, over-peppered, and was burnt on the outside. In addition, the Lexingtonian salad that comes with each meal was not brought for myself and also for one of the other members of my party. That was questioned and a complaint was made to the server.
At this point, it became a revolving door of wait staff and, I assume, manager(s), aggravating us with questions of whether we were pleased with our meals. We lost count at 14 visits by at least 6 (maybe 7) people.
It would be hard to imagine that the service was worse than the meal; however, it was.
We could not have a complete conversation or anything for the constant and seemingly continuous interruptions.
They provide continued excellence in food and service. The waiters checked on us numerous times and provided all that we needed. The steak and salads were delicious!
The food was, as usual, excellent. However the outstanding part of our visit was the exceptional service we received from our waiter, Stephen. He went out of his way to assist us and made the visit a memorable one.
Great service and food
Food was awesone and great service

We always go to Malones when we travel thru the Lexington area. Actually, this is one of my top 10 restaurants anywhere. The steaks are excellent. The Lexington salad is a favorite and the bourbon cocktails are the best. If you are staying in this area, I recommend you dine at this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
Based on our last experience, I would not return to Malone’s Hamburg.
Our service was slow, food lukewarm when served. The tables around us had similar issues, 3 tables asked for a manager, when he arrived, he was less than hospitable, made faces and mumbled what sounded like choice words as he walked away from the table only to be called back to the table next to us. He said it’s Father’s Day, we are busy, the cooks are overwhelmed. No apology, no sincerity... I felt like we should have not dined there because it was Father’s Day.
Out waiter, Boyd, was outstanding!
We absolutely love the food at Malone's! My husband claims they have the best steaks on the planet! The bottomless salad is very good and their lobster mac & cheese is amazing!
Great food and service as always.
I was told that my reservation did not reserve a "table" and was offered to squeeze 6 men into a booth or be seated in the bar area. I entertain customers and staff often and average spending $2,500 - $3,000 a month at this restaurant but the past few experiences i have had are making me reconsider where i entertain. I had a bad experience last month at the Palamar location.
I came here for my high school graduation dinner and the staff was so kind and caring!
Food was fantastic! Service was wonderful! Great girls night out?
Normally, if we splurge for Malone's, it's for the steak, but we were on a bit of a budget for this particular early Sunday dinner. We were celebrating our daughter's great grades, and she chose Malone's. She loves Malone's Fried Chicken, which is their amazing version of chicken tenderloins. She also loves the Lexingtonian Salad that comes with your meal, as do my wife and I. So that's where we we went. I got Malone's Burger done medium. It has bacon and cheese, tomato, lettuce, and red onion. Comes with mayo and mustard on the side, but I had to request ketchup, and not sure if that's normal or not. They brought it out quickly. My wife had the Fish and Chips. She raved about them. My daughter had the whipped potatoes with her chicken, and I had the 1 pound baked potato with my burger. Everything was perfect. Exceptional taste, amazing, prompt service. Bottomless salad and bread, fresh from the oven and warm, with a garlic butter that I crave. I have had their steaks many times in the past and never been disappointed. Also had a trout special a month or so ago that was delicious. No, it's not the cheapest place around, but you pay for quality and service, and it's quite reasonable in my opinion. One of my very favorite restaurants in Lexington.
Great place, with a lot of class! Spectacular steak!
