Had dinner with a group of friends. The food and service were great! Highly recommend!
I love coming here. Always great service. Food tastes great.
Great high quality dinning experience. On the pricy/classy side so I recommend for a special night out. Treat yourself to great food and fabulous service. The divers scallops and ribeye were both delicious.
We loved the rooftop and the service and drinks were great. All of the food was good except the chicken Gouda nachos. The cheese seemed to be melted Gouda and velveta combined and we did not care for it. The duck wonton appetizer was really good and so was the salmon salad.
Very disappointed that staff do not wear masks nor require customers to do so until seated. This is irresponsible during a pandemic.
The view of the St Croix River was greatly overstated. You actually look at the back and sides of a building. You only see the river looking south on the left, not a very inspiring view at that.
It started with the host at the front door talk about an attitude. I will never step foot in that place again
Been here several times in the past and the service and food have been excellent. Ordered drinks and they were delayed and one was wrong. Appetizer portions were sparse and expensive. Although we enjoyed the atmosphere at the underground.
First time there and will be back. Great original food and friendly service.
Great food, sat on roof top for 4th of July. Hot but the waitress kept us well hydrated.
The food was delicious the service was excellent. My husband had a giant burger and couldn't finish it off. We also had plenty of fries left over as well, which we took home. I had the nightly special which was very delicious at consisted of four jumbo shrimps on a hoagie bun with aioli and other sauces. Very delicious.
Very good food and drinks with great service. We'll be back!
Lovely, Amazing food.
The food was good and the service was good. We had a very loud guy on his phone in the booth next to us that talked for 10 minutes and once he got off the phone he left. After that, everything was great. I would go back again.
It was wonderful to get a reservation for Father’s Day.
Sever was awesome kitchen was slow but that happens sometimes.. overall good exp I’d go back
What a lovely place! Vibrant music, amazing food. We had steak. The filet and the ribeye. They were expertly prepared, flavorful and tender. I love the abundance of side choices, many which are unique. The salads are generous, and the dressings go beyond the standard fare. Mallory’s is a gem. The rooftop is wonderful when it’s not a rainy night too. Service was knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. I highly recommend Mallory’s for any occasion.
Great restaurant that just keeps getting better!!!
Excellent service and speed!
They were Out of three menu items at 3 pm and upon arrival host wasn’t pleasant in greeting us and accommodating a patio seat for two when there was more than plenty of room on the patio
First and last visit
Had to go out the back alley as well so will not be back !
Everything was great! Patio is small so keep that in mind as there was quite a wait for it as seating is extremely limited
Great food! Great service! I will be back!!!
First time here. The food, drinks, wait staff all quite good. I thought I was making a reservation for the patio, so it was disappointing to learn that was not the case. But we made the most of it. The one thing that was not good was the loud and consistent ringing of the telephone. Very, very distracting and annoying. But - we go back again and hope this all was just a blip due to business getting back to normal.
We enjoyed our lunch experience at Mallory’s. Staff was friendly, food was delicious, and we enjoyed the rooftop patio.
Great meal, very friendly service
Absolutely fabulous food and service!!!
The food wasn’t good. We asked our eggs to be over easy, they were overcooked. Dry. The hash browns were perfect squares. Right out of a box like they had been from the frozen food aisle at cub but it was priced like a good restaurant. Disappointment. We won’t return.
The space was great. We loved the rooftop patio with fire tables, but it was extremely crowded. We also tried to get into the speakeasy in the basement. First you pick up the phone in the hallway and it gives you a recorded password. Then you go downstairs and buzz to get in. No one came to the door after several attempts. That was a disappointment.
The food was very expensive for what you get. My walleye was basically flavored with butter. My husband, who knows steak cuts very well (he grew up in a family butcher shop) ordered a ribeye and told me that it definitely was not cut like a ribeye. The food prices were ridiculously expensive for what you get. Mediocre food. The idea is fun, but the experience didn't turn out for us. Maybe it was just an off night for them.
Our server was attentive, informed and professional. She knew the menu and was able to steer us in the right direction when I asked. The food was excellent. I had a fully loaded Cheesesteak sandwich with clam chowder. Everything was well prepared and delicious. My friend had a sandwich and salad and appreciated the options for sides. We truly enjoyed our time there. A great place to catch up with a friend.
I’m afraid the food just wasn’t the quality we were expecting based on the prices charged.
The 40-day aged New York strip was served in a pool of grease and had a high percentage of gristle. I couldn’t even eat it, it was just a really poor cut of meat.
The walleye was greasy and rather tasteless.
The butternut squash had a very odd presentation. The dish itself is quite small (especially for an entree), and when you order it with chicken, instead of having chicken intermingled with the dish, a dry, sautéed chicken breast is just placed on top.
Mashed potatoes were fine, as were the asparagus and green beans.
We have become Mallory's frequent fliers! The food is amazing! Well thought out apps, and a really nice menu overall. Steak night is our favorite. The dry aged meat is grass fed. It's aged 40 days for amazing texture and flavor. Well worth the price, especially on steak night! It is perfectly prepared, and there are so many side choices! You can't go wrong at Mallory's!
Perfect for Valentine's day. Food was fantastic and the environment was quiet and intimate. Loved every bit of the experience.
Service started fine but went down hill after apos arrived. Server never checked back except to drop off entrees. We ordered two steaks MR and one came out well. After almost 10 min of not seeing the server had to get up and find her to ask for a new steak
No drink refills offered until after we were done eating even though empty glasses on side of table. We would have ordered more during meal. She offered a free dessert because of the steak. Server only had 3 two top tables. No steps of service followed.
We arrived early our table was ready so we were seated. The waitress was attentive and the food was good.
Very nice dinner for Valentines Day. A little pricy, but worth it for a special occasion.
Food was delicious. Nice Valentine’s Day menu.
Service was great although slightly rushed due to the holiday.
Ordered prime rib.
Server asked if he wanted 1/2 inch or inch.
Husband said inch.
Would have been nice if server had mentioned that it would be double the menu price. Or it should be included on the menu pricing. Also menu stated prime rib came with one side.
Got charged for the side. Server seemed too busy for us to hassle getting the check fixed.
Bar downstairs was great! Enjoyed the live music.
The speak easy is adorable!! Loved it. My father turns 90 in the spring would love to bring home to the speak easy.
We checked in an hour early. Told we could not get in until our reservation time. Which we were prepared to go get drinks some where. Sent to the speak easy bar downstairs. Great cocktails. Well designed space!
However, they forgot we were down there. Never came and got us for our reservations. Had to go out the back door ; back in the front door, where the hostess looked confused that we were there for our reservation. Original check in 6:15, reservation time 7:30.
We sat down at 7:40-dinner arrived at 8:40. Apologies were made for the long wait. There are only 20 tables in the restaurant. The wine list is lacking quality wines. And we got a 2oz pour. Felt like we were at a wine tasting event.
Tomahawk pork-chop was delicious. The dried ribeye- lacking seasoning and juice- ordered medium rare. Should be juice. Homemade tater tots- ok.
Would go back for the speak easy alone. Food was good not great.
It was oddly cold in the bar area as we sat at in a booth. Service was great...French Onion Soup was piping hot and nearly perfect. Steak bites were not good. Way over cooked and tasted stale. Manhatten's were good. Overall, an okay experience. Will go back to try prime special again...and hopefully again after that.
We had a good experience but we could only stay till 7:00 pm.
-Seated nearly 30 minutes after reservation time
-No water glasses available for 25-minutes after being seated
-Ran out of baked potato on a very limited menu featuring steak
-Silverware came unwrapped
-Hair in guest mashed potato's
-Wine selection very poor
-Most of staff openly made comments about being behind and would have to wait even though the the facility was clearly not at capacity.
