Always a great meal, sometimes the seating can be cramped, but it's a good thing ....gives people a chance to mingle and make new friends!
Best restaurant experience in Pittsburgh hands down! Favorite is still eddie merlots but Mallorca was exceptionally good!
The food and service was amazing!
Soft shell crabs were outstanding , all sides are served family style, vegetables slightly over cooked for my liking.
Will return again soon
Always consistent food and service
Very accommodating with my large group of 25 people and excellent service. The food was excellent and the sangria is a must. They even surprised me with a cake for our birthday celebration. Always a pleasure visiting there.
Overall good but we did ask our server to save the lamb bones for our dog. My husband specifically asked for the lamb because our little dog has skin issues and cannot eat beef or chicken but she loves lamb bones. He threw them out and when I asked if he could retrieve them he just said “sorry” and did not try to replace them
Thank you Antonio and staff for ALWAYS providing superior service and very accommodating staff members. We hope to continue enjoying your verbal SPECIAL menu items and authentic cuisine for years to come. The food is always fantastic and the Red wine sangria is incomparable.
This is about the 5th time we have been to Mallorca and everytime the service has been outstanding. The service staff really sets the mood for the evening.
Good wine list and a great variety of food. Parking was not the best but then again it is the Southside.
The service was top notch, the food amazing!
The sangria is a must!! The restaurant itself is beautiful!
Fantastic as always.. service is top notch and the food never disappoints.
Great staff and even better food!
A little slow start. But waiter was very attentive. Excellent food, Excellent drinks! Very good expierence. Would recommend to anyone who likes excellent food and drinks.
Great dinner. Lot of Vegan options. Good service. Crowded together but enjoyed the Pgh ambiance.
We had a great experience celebrating my daughter's college graduation and were treated like family! It was amazing.
The Delmonico steak was too well done and tough. I had previously ordered the Delmonico steak well done; It was very juicy and very tender. We were celebrating a very special occasion, very disappointed. The service was excellent.
Amazing food large portions and great menu
We went to Mallorca on Mother's Day. We had reservations, but were not seated for 40 mins. They were completely overwhelmed and unfortunately the service was very slow and food quality suffered. We have enjoyed our meals there in the past and will try again (but not on a holiday).
This has been our family's favorite Pittsburgh Restaurant for years. It has a true European feel, HUGE Food, and a great staff.
We visit every Mother's Day, the food is great and the personal feel from the waiters is wonderful.
Like the paella. liked the paella, likes the paella
The food is amazing.Everyone was so nice and helpful. I would recommend to anyone.
Once again this was outstanding food with nothing but the most professional service and presentation of food and wine this was a graduation celebration and the staff went above and beyond
We were celebrating our son’s graduation. The server went out of his way to take care of us. They surprised us with an appetizer of calamari which was delicious. Our meals were flavorful and abundant. We loved the crispy homemade chips!
Definitely will return.
This is one of our favorite places ..... this trip was for my wife’s birthday. The food and service were excellent as always. We sat on the patio on a perfect evening.
Food and service is as good as always. The noise levels can become very loud so casual conversation would be difficult.
Exceptional service and great food. Very attentive staff.
Wonderful food, exceptional service, attention to detail. Incredible evening. They made everything special.
Excellent as always. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in the city. I have never had a meal that disappointed and have always walked away full.
Great atmosphere. Good if you are looking for a unique experience. Very friendly waiters.
Everything was extraordinary! Our reservation was honored on time, all of the servers were efficient, and the staff was professional and helpful throughout the meal. Courses were served in a timely fashion but we were definitely not rushed. The menu was diverse, the specials were thoroughly described ( and repeated!), and the food itself was excellent. Our party had Paella, Goat, Ossa Bucca, and Chilean sea bass. Three out of the four entrees were specials. The Sangria was delicious!
We will return to this restaurant soon & recommend it to friends.
We were disappointed with this restaurant. First we had a long wait although we had arrived on time. The tables were so crowded together that the waiters could not move without bumping our chairs. The options were plentiful, but we felt rushed to place our orders. We opted for several tapas in lieu of main courses after looking at some of the plates other diners had ordered. The portions of those seemed ridiculously large, so if you are looking for food to take home this would be a good choice. We did enjoy the Sopa de Ajo we had for a starter. The shrimp in garlic sauce was unremarkable and overly mild. Our bottle of white Spanish wine arrived warm and we had to request an ice bucket for the table. All in all we would not recommend this restaurant for leisurely dining or fine food.
Great food, outstanding service. Best Spanish/ Portuguese in Pittsburgh!
We arrived early for our reservation but were promptly seated anyway. The service was incredibly fast and the wait staff could not have been more friendly. They were also personable, whereas some fine restaurants you feel as if they are reciting pre-rehearsed lines the staff here was giving actual opinions on dishes. The food was delicious, my wife had stuffed scallops and I had a bone in tenderloin. Customers should know the prices are not cheap, but they are by no means out of line with other restaurants of that quality. I have spent much more on much less. This was my first time out in Pittsburgh though, I would have expected this meal to cost twice as much in Philly or DC but a little less in Harrisburg. I felt it was a great value, but I could be wrong. Portions are also enormous. If I had to give one complaint I would say the service was a little too fast, but I will always take that over the alternative of being ignored. I will recommend this place to anyone I know travelling to Pittsburgh.
Great service. The Chilean sea bass was superb and to die for. The duck was not as tasty. The staff tried to offer me something else (which is what they should do, but I didn't want anything else). The aperitif at the end of the meal was also exceptional, as was the Cardinal Mendoza brandy. I will definitely be back soon.
Food was good and plentiful. Service was good but slow at times. Be prepared to spend money! I am hard of hearing and found the noise level very high.
Most of the wait staff was friendly, but the owner was very awkward and in your face about the food. The tapas are NOT tapas, the plates are enormous!!
Food is overall poor, not worth the time or money. Also too cramped.
Friends from out of town. Great wine and Food
The staff added to an enjoyable family meal and evening. We ordered 7 different meals and they were all so delicious! And thank you for the scrumptious birthday cake too! Yummy & a fun evening!
This place is always amazing! The staff, the food, always top notch
