Born and raised in Kansas City Missouri, southern hospitality is on the top of our list. It’s more than tradition. It’s ice cold beer, key lime pie, and a party in our backyard. Our family wanted to turn passion into a reality in 2013, so we came together and opened Mallards. With Dad in charge of the menu all of our favorites started showing up! Delicious dinner at Mallards. My husband and I each ordered the jambalaya, which was truly excellent. Our server was very solicitous.

Honestly, I was expecting more. The service was terrible. We waited 15 minutes at our table before anyone came over to take our drink order. We had a reservation and the restaurant was not busy when we were there. The food was fine, but nothing special especially for the price.

I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across Mallard’s when we were looking online for somewhere different to eat. We were unaware it had opened at the beginning of the year. Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night. More marketing is needed because the food and service were great and the prices are reasonable.

Rough start. Seated immediately. Waited quite a long time before being approached by the waitstaff (likely understaffed). A waiter arrived and asked if we’d been there awhile. At that point he was very attentive. Brought water took our order. Followed up with numerous beverage refills. Food was delicious. A bad start to a great experience.

The service and the food was really good me and son really enjoyed ourselves for their easter brunch. Plan on going back for my wife's birthday when she gets back.

The food was 4 out of 10, the buffet wasn’t the cleanest serving ware had food on it the dessert look store purchased I wasn’t happy with spending $80+ dollars I wanted to ask for a refund. I live by I’ll try anything twice not sure that apply to this place. Service was Great and Ambience pretty.

We ate at Mallards on Easter when they had the brunch buffet. Everything we ate was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back again.
