   A fabulous evening with amazing food and service. Intimate and special. Even though one of the courses wasn’t to my pallet, it was still delivered and pushed the boundaries of an amazing food experience. Would definitely return and recommend.

   Intimate, refined, restrained, and overall spectacular! All the food is delicious. Standouts were the tuna, the chicken with mushroom and without a doubt the service was outstanding. We will be back!

   We had a very enjoyable night at Malin last night. The food and service were both excellent. We loved how the chef has maintained the traditional French cuisine but with his own personal touches. The tuna entree with mustard sorbet was an example. For mains we had chicken ballotine with mushrooms and the rockling in a seafood broth with nashi pear; both were very delicious. For dessert it was a cheese mousse with herb sorbet. We will definitely be back, and were told that they change the menu very often, so we're looking forward to trying something different next time.

   Incroyable experience, went for a quiet lunch, the service was fabulous, very outsanding. a real restaurant where you must pick for a business lunch or dinner. Food five star, Service five star Special mention to Clement Pilatre, we did at the same time the same hospitality school back in France, 7 years ago ! Felicitation Clement !

   A friend and I dined at Malin last night and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The food is pretty spectacular, and ready to surprise you. The dishes tread a thoughtful line between delicacy and substance. Delicious and intelligent. It’s my second visit and my only trepidation was that it might not live up to how thoroughly good and memorable the first visit was. I need not have been concerned. Wine was wonderful and thoughtfully chosen by the maître d, who is delightful and smart company, and the simplicity and elegance of the interior envelopes you in its cocoon. It’s fast becoming one of my favourites in Melbourne.

   Malin is located in excellent location. The restaurant has an upmarket, classy but casual vibe. Impressive staff who know food and wine. Would highly recommend.

   What a Carlton treasure ! Every dish was beautifully crafted and delicious . Chef Clement Pilatre has excelled at his craft and has remained true to the name of this restaurant MALIN is very clever !

    Outstanding in every way from the moment you enter. There was clearly a lot of thought behind the restaurant. The room is lovely, tables set with linen. The room feels serene and luxurious. The food is superb, modern French with an Australian accent. Every dish was outstanding. Service is relaxed and friendly. I highly recommend a dinner at Malin. I look forward to a return visit.
