Malibu Farm Miami Beach
Just because of the location. The cauliflower pizza was just fried cheese.
Food was really good, however I found that it would take too long to get refill or ask anything to the server
The food was good but nothing exceptional. I would rate the value for money as average. Good setting. It's nice to be able to eat outside without being so hot, thanks to the many fans they have. Our waiter was very friendly and good. However, we found the overall kitchen service was slow (everything took a long time to come) although the restaurant didn't seem to be extremely busy.
All good with food and place, experience was great until I noticed I forgot my sunglasses and returned the following day, they didn’t even tried to helped me to look for it ! Zero client centric attitude !
Food was amazing but experience so so
The location was very nice but the food was very expensive for what you got. It was so loud it was difficult to have a conversation.
The food was amazing but the most important the service was a 100% from the amazing manager to the hosted yo the waiter spectacular the best in Miami
Just a disaster. Don’t recommend this place at all.
No aceptaron mi reserva de Miami spice pars el brunch del Domingo!
Don’t get dessert! Otherwise it was fine. Service was mediocre. Food was fresh.
Service was terrible and the restaurant wasn’t full
Went for Miami Spice. Just as last year, they did not offer the Miami Spice menu until we asked for it, and looking at people at the surrounding tables, none of them had the Spice menu. The menu was essentially the same as last year. We had the nachos and fish tacos - both were good although I think the taco portion was smaller than before. For entrees we had the avocado pizza and chicken burger, both of which were excellent. The fried chocolate cake is their standard dessert and it didn’t disappoint. Other than not providing the Spice menu upfront, my only complaint was the service - it was slow, incorrect dishes were brought to our table, and the entrees did not come at the same time - the burger wasn’t served until after we had already finished the pizza. This would have been ok had we requested it that way but we didn’t. The setting is nice but it was hot and their fans were inadequate. Overall the food was good but the other items need to be improved.
For the price of the food in relation to the service. I would never go back. By far the worst experience I've had at a restaurant.
1. Waiter sold us on the idea of a meal and then said all steaks were sold in less then 2 min. Instead, the waiter should have set the correct expectation and let us know, before hand, if we were ready, before selling the meals to others.
2. Our meal came out at the same time as our appetizer, so the meal got cold. (Instead of the waiter apologizing, the waiter out loud said "wow, the food came out fast, then continued on.")
3. Incorrect orders were placed (The wrong desert came out).
4. When my Fiancé asked the manager where the restroom was, he told her go through the double doors in a rude tone. Our waiter had to apologize for his behavior and give proper instructions.
The few people that were going to go to Malibu Farm, we let them know to save their money and go elsewhere.
Food was great, although we felt paying over $20 per person for a burger was a bit pricey.
Celebrating my mother-in-laws birthday I selected Malibu Farm simply for its popularity with a a few of my clients. I work for American Express Concierge and I wanted to try out the requested spot. I admit my I definitely encourage inside seating by the window for larger parties on Sundays. The food was excellent in its presentation.
My waitress Christine, was nothing but respectful, on point with our water glasses and very professional. The views are very much worth the trip down to Miami Beach, as it’s located on the water so-to-speak, you will walk all the way back and through the lobby hotel. Walking outdoors gives you a California, vineyard vibe from time to time, just follow the wooden Malibu Farm signs! Atmosphere outdoors is very much your typical casual Sunday brunch, walk-off the beach, indoors is a quaint rustic farmhouse feel right off the water. If you enjoy California cuisine, vegan, and or just enjoy health choice waffles grain-free pizzas this is the place to dine! I enjoyed their Avocado pizza and I really enjoyed every flavor.
This venue was definitely a great experience, I would take friends or family here again, and will refer any client looking for a casual but great farm-to-table experience. My favorite was the presentation of various desserts ordered, Christine, was able to place a candle in the Merengue ordered in honor of the birthday guest. While they don’t offer anything for birthdays she did go above and beyond. Thank you Christine, you rocked!
The avocado flatbread exceeded all expectations. Lots of flavor and nice size. Service and the setting were very nice. The ABC tacos were just ok. Very bland. They need more flavor. Cilantro, jalapeño and lime were prefect, which I took from the avocado flatbread which had ample to spare.
Wonderful birthday celebration! VERY fresh delicious food and flavors! Highly recommend!!
I food was mediocre at best especially for what you pay for it. I ordered the shrimp and it was one large shrimp that was not that great. The Farro had parts that were uncooked and the egg wasn't exactly poached. I also ordered the broccoli mash was okay and cold. I was not impressed at all. I like the location and wanted to try it but won't be going back.
Food was spectacular ! Service was great ! The view was perfect. The only negative I can say and this is not the restaurant’s fault was the heat. It is open air dining. They have fans , but it’s hot!
Exceptional food and service. Was there with my pre teen daughter, and she loved it as much as I did! Sure wish we lived closer!
The food was not good (dried out tortillas that crumble quicker than your average Wonder Bread, anyone?) and the scratches up walls on the way to the restrooms (which are shared with the hotel’s pool guests) with wet towels dumped in them, makes this a “NO THANK YOU”.
The view is amazing. The food is fresh and good. Will go again.
Great restaurant. Amazing view. Great menu!
Nice place and the food is great
Hostess Mayelin was very nice to accomodate us o a table we wanted. It was vrey hot, so its best to go when the sun is not as intense to be able to enjoy the experience more, granted we went on July 4th. Even then, with how busy it was the service was good. The gave us complimentary ice cream which was a very nice touch on their part. Good experience overall
Great food & atmosphere! Priscilla was a wonderful server, very attentive and kind. Everything was delicious and the unlimited brunch (mimosas & rosé) was great as well. Would dine here again!
OMg- THE BEST steak sandwich meal EVER. The lunch steak marinated in balsamic vinegar was beyond delicious. The staff is lovely and being right on the water....Yes and Yes
La calidad de la comida es excepcional, pero en ocasiones el servicio toma demasiado tiempo, incluso cuando no hay más comensales.
Fuera de eso el ambiente es muy bueno, la vista preciosa y la comida increíble.
Almuerzo. Porciones pequeñas. Nada especial
BEST tasting food I’ve had, organic, fresh and their culinary skills are on point. Perfect. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Best restaurant in Miami.
Fun location by the pool at the Nobu hotel. We sat outside with the ocean views. A DJ played at brunch. Get healthy food options.
When dining at Malibu Farm, we were surprised with the beauty and the location, but the entire meal was spoiled by the noise level of the music. It was so loud to the point where we couldn’t hear the people sitting directly next to us. The food was good, but the live music made it a hard to enjoy meal. When you dine at the beach, you are looking to enjoy the sounds of the beach, i.e. the waves, birds and not some terrible singers that are walking around table to table and looking you in the eye when trying to enjoy a nice meal.
We came in to dine at 1:15 PM, there was a 10-15 minute wait time before our order was taken. Menu item was very limited. The weather was soaring at the time which makes the atmosphere slightly uncomfortable but bearable enough just to finish a meal. This outside seating and setting will perhaps be a better place to have a snack after 5 PM or sunset, for a breezy and fine dining experience. We weren’t given the option for an indoor seating, which eventually I found out there was. However, the indoor seating was so mediocre with long white tables and plastic chairs similar to a canteen. I was expecting and hoping for a better ambience and seating for the indoor dining given that the restaurant itself is a part of Eden Roc hotel but unfortunately it’s not up to par. To sum it up, dining here is best before 11 AM and after 5 PM if you’re looking to enjoy the food and the ambience. If you happen to end up dining for the same price range at the same time as I did, better dine at Novu which is also inside Eden Roc and definitely presents way more of a better dining experience.
We came to visit. We were not aware that on sundays there would be brunch until 5 pm which is honestly way too late so we couldn’t try your lunch menu which is what we were looking forward to. The DJ music was way too loud so we couldn’t enjoy the view and had to go inside. Unfortunately no one could serve us even with the reservation but Sofia the hostess was nice enough to do so.
Had dinner there twice last week, same meal choice both times. One was excellent, the second was disappointing.
I really wanted to love Malibu Farm Miami because I have been to the one in Malibu, CA and loved it. However, it was so hot on the deck and none of the fans were working. Honestly it was so uncomfortable that is ruined the experience for me. Come on people, it's South Florida and working fans are a must! I hope they get the fans working if they want to stay in business!
Service was horrible. Food was great. Ambiance was amazing. However service was terrible.
Food was ordinary at best. Would only return for the spectacular view. By the way, it would be nice if waiters ask clients if they want their parking tickets validated instead of the client getting to the front and having to walk all the way back for a validation. Common sense!
Beautiful location! Delicious fresh food :)
