Service was excellent and food was amazing!!! The menu is very short but the things on the menu are made incredibly well. Highly recommend the avocado pizza and chicken burger!

If u are looking for a covid friendly place this is not it!!! Very crowded, few masks. We sat at the table and then decided to leave. We did not feel comfortable here AT ALL!!!!!!!!

This place was terrible and disrespectful. We arrived for our reservation that I requested a booth for, we were told it would be an extra 2 hour wait for a booth with the water view. We settled for a table in the back, then a older couple walks in that had not been waiting and was sat in a booth with the view. They also had done this same thing to other people and when they asked why this was they proceeded to say “sorry maybe next time”. The food also did not match the price point at all.

Avoid this place at all costs people! They are rude and they do not care either.

The ambiance was great. A beautiful view of the ocean with indoor and outdoor seating. The seating was very disorganized which created a few angry patrons. The food portions were very small and overall the food was fair.

I'll start off by saying I LOVE the Malibu Farm Restaurant in Malibu. At that location, the price was right and the food was simple and fantastic. Because of the Malibu experience, we jumped at an opportunity to dine at the Miami location on Christmas evening, but we immediately regretted the decision. We made the reservation through OpenTable, but wasn't made aware of the restaurant would be serving a Prix Fixe menu without the option to order off of the regular menu. Despite this disappointing discovery, we stayed. We are not cheap and expect to pay premium prices for beachfront dining, but it is ridiculous to charge $100 per person for a three-course meal with the option of chicken, branzino, or a lower end steak. The food was insanely salty. Further, it felt like the chef tried too hard to "fancy" up the food to justify the price, and the flavor palate just didn't seem to work. On a bright note, the dessert and the jalapeno margarita was fabulous. To end the night, we traveled through the indoor section of the restaurant to reach the restrooms, to our disgust the restaurant (dining area and kitchen) smelled like an open sewer pipe. It pains me to say this because I love supporting small businesses, particularly female-run small businesses, but the price simply cannot be justified despite the beautiful view.

It was christmas dinner, there was a $99 pre fix we were unaware when booking, there was no inside seating because it smelled like a septic tank & there were no heaters outside so it was freezing. Additionally, there was no “entree” in the pre fixe for the 2 vegans dining in the group. The wine was good. I would suggest going in the daytime when it’s warm outside

The service at Malibu Farm is unfortunately terrible. We ate in the restaurant two mornings in a row and both times our food took over an hour for eggs and bacon. Our server both days hardly came over to explain why the food was taking so long. We saw many open tables and tables that sat after us get food. The food is extremely expensive for the lack of service. I never even saw a manger present. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 13 years and I have to say this is one of the worst I’ve been too. I would advise anyone to not waste their time and venture outside of the hotel for better service.

The view OMG and it’s a typical hotel venue for lunch and breakfast. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. The actual service when around was good but I had to constantly flag someone down to get attention. I ordered the steak and eggs which was supposed to be 8 oz and maybe I got 4 oz (I know you going to say that meat shrinks, but I was in the restaurant business and this is 50% shrink which is not possible) and it was left over cuts of the skirt steak. I think if you going to charge $38 then you really need to give the right portion. The rest was just ok! It was Dennys food on a nicer plate.
Go for the view and not the food! I will try the lunch menu next time as I like to give a second chance but ok first impression., I would skip and save the $&.

What a beautiful setting- with beautiful beach view. Unfortunately the food is very mediocre. Not at all what it’s promises- fresh farm food...? Fish tacos were tasteless, with with greasy batter. The chicken ricotta burger same:(
The tables and chairs are so old and shabby- not chic!!!
The indoors is beautifully renovated- but who wants to sit indoors if there is this beautiful outdoor space?

Hostess taking names was very rude. I have never had an experience like this. I tried to check in and she was aggressive and rude. I will not return because of her horrible attitude. Hospitality? Not away to start.Our server was very good and attentive. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by this unfriendly and aggressive start.

The service and limited menu do not merit a $190 invoice..and of course there's a 20% automatic tip.

I came by for a brunch frienddate and we both had high expectations for a nice brunch. When we got there a little after 2, without knowing otherwise, we learned that brunch was only until 2. Their already limited menu? A few items were no longer available. We asked our waiter Abel for recommendations and hoped for the best..

Our appetizer course of seasonal burrata was actually a highlight. The salad had a nice vinegary taste, and the greens, mango slices and pomegranate seeds balanced very nicely. My main course chicken tortilla salad - healthy eating and all - was served with 4 or 5 bland pieces of chicken, some tortilla chips, gym and a cream sauce. It was OK, but nothing that made it stand out from any of the Tex mex chains. Healthy does not have to mean bland!

My Mojitos were pretty good, and had a decent early buzz but I had to request it more than halfway through the appetizer course; it's my experience that cocktails are some of the first dishes served.

Speaking of main courses, my friend ordered their chicken burger; it seemed interesting enough what with the patty blended with bacon. Well, when she went to cut a piece to share she cut through mostly bread. The table next to us ordered a regular burger that seemed much heartier, and we ordered the chicken burger on our waiters recommendation.

Lastly, we tried their panna cotta dessert, with more pomegranate seeds. It was ok, nothing spectacular enough to remember details a few hours later.

Needless to say, this spot is a big no for me unless they substantially improve.

Went for the prefixed menu on thanksgiving. Waited about twenty minutes to be sat even tho we had a reservation and were on time. Then we waited another ten to fifteen minutes for a server to come and bring the “welcome drink”. They were out of potatoes (keep in mind prefixed menu and it’s thanksgiving and we had a 4pm seating) and out of the key lime pie (there were two other pie options so this was less distressing). The third wine presented with the main mean tasted like vodka grape juice, the waiter said it was Cabernet but trust me, it was most definitely not. Overall paid $110 per person to have cold soup, some Turkey with stuffing and no sides, a small piece of bland pumpkin pie, and four very small glasses of mediocre wine.
The view is pretty though.

Really bad meal. Overall bad service, took forever for everything. Drinks food clearing plates. The whole thing. Others were complaining too. Our server must have been understaffed but regardless it felt that there was no effort to provide the great service we would expect especially coming here for a special occasion. It was my husbands birthday and thanksgiving dinner. I’m sorry I chose Malibu Grill. It didn’t suit us even though it’s on the beach. Not worth it. Won’t be returning.

Food and ambiance was good but the service on Thanksgiving day was terrible and they applied 20% gratuity. We were there for over 2 hours at lunch and not by choice. Waited over 30 minutes from ordering before we received 4 salads and a soup.

It didn’t get better...

And the pecan pie was not good
