Malibu Farm Miami Beach
The service was so horrible it took away from the whole experience. Our waitress didn’t remember our orders and the manager didn’t do much to compensate.
happy place for sure
avacado pizza mindblower
friendliest staff Miami Beach
Def. need to have at least two hostesses during busy lunch time - one hostess meeting and seating creates havoc and leaves reception empty.
Food is a bit over-rated - but maybe New York City spoils you. My child who is barely 10 was not allowed to see and order from kids menu / because it is only for kids until 8 years old... that is ridiculous. Most likely won’t be back - tons of other options on Miami Beach. Overall ok but little misfits create poor impression.
I was so disappointed in my Malibu Farm experience this time. We requested to be in the inside room because it was a windy night. After quite some time I had to seek out a waitress because no one had come by. The drinks were not served together (we were a couple) - we had to ask where the other drink was because the waitress only delivered one, with no comment as to where or when the other would arrive. We ordered our drinks and food together, both of us had an appetizer and entree. After quite some time the waitress came back and informed me my selection was sold out (at 7:15?). Appetizers were fine. Entree - the grilled octopus (at $42) was so tough, it should not be on the menu until they find out from other restaurants, how to prepare and cook it to make it tender - it can be done. Oh yes, and our entrees also came out at different times. After about an hour and a half, I get an email from OpenTable, regarding not keeping our reservation, along with an admonishment of how this effects restaurants. My response was, "if I haven't kept my reservation, then why am I being charged $211?" Not a good dining experience from start to end.
Great view and beautiful ocean front property. Food was delish but a limited menu for my picky family. It is a haul to use the rest rooms inside hotel.
This restaurant does not have enough staffing during peak hours so service can be spotty. Iced tea is not really iced tea-- it is flavored with some weird flavoring and no one is warned about this.
On the other hand it is on the beach, it is pleasant and the food is fresh and nicely prepared salads and sandwiches
The restaurant is a perfect oceanside spot. Very pretty and comfortable booths overlooking the water. Good food. Very nice wait staff. Only major problem is non stop piped In loud music ....it is so common in restaurants these days. I can’t really believe that most customers like it .
avocado pizza a mindblower
impossible to beat setting
Worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant
We sat our table and waited about 15 minutes. Our waitress came and we ordered two pizzas and waited and waited and waited. Our waitress kept saying the food was coming. One hour and a half later, we asked for our food and were told that they were busy and that’s why she said earlier it would be “a little while.” We obviously have a different definition of time. WE LEFT.
Very poor food. They call it organic and they serve you soggy olives from the can. Hostess was unkept, no make up, aloof, hair was all over the place. Missing items on the menu. They call it laid back luxurious. Nothing close to luxurious about this place. Good for cheap tourists with no taste or real appreciation for good food. All in all terrible
Service was excellent. Food was good - somewhat unique menu and drinks. Glad we went.
From the very beginning when we showed up, we were easily able to modify our reservation upon check in. From there, our server was amazing and accommodating, every table in the restaurant has ocean views and you can tell the food used quality ingredients and each menu item was thoughtfully designed. We were a little nervous for a beach front restaurant because they are usually higher priced and lower quality, but the price matched the quality in every sense.
The service was terrible. Nobody came over to check if our meal was good or if we needed anything. The food was mediocre at best.
Ok, nothing special.
Horrible. Horrible. Worst service. EVER
Dirty chairs, very loud music, bar tenders were looked like they were hating their job, service, specially the hostess poor training,
The cocktails taste good, and food presentation was sloppy but taste good.
Lovely space in the Eden Roc. I ordered a burger, and they missed the temperature completely. Came out well done, not medium rare. Also, added bacon, which was cold on the burger. When I told our server that it was overcooked, she pointed to the little stick and said that it was medium rare. I also asked for the aioli on the side, and it was slathered on the bun. To add to this, they brought me additional mayonnaise, and no ketchup. All the sides were cold. I believe for a $21.00 burger, and a $7.50 additional charge for bacon, they could hit the temp.
The food is good and somewhat inventive. It's quite expensive for what it is. You're paying for the ambiance - the view of the ocean is gorgeous! Also, the tip is included (20%) then there is a line for tip. It doesn't say 'additional tip' is just says tip - so people who are not paying attention are often overpaying for service. It's a little confusing.
On a short break to Miami and we swapped our original choice of restaurant to Malibu Farm Miami Beach and you certainly didn’t disappoint! We had a sea view table and the food, wine and service was fantastic! Thank you for making a great evening special!
Beautiful atmosphere and decor. Service was great and our server offered nice recommendations that we really enjoyed. We have the “bu-viche”, paella and avocado pizza and all were wonderful. We are Malibu Farms enthusiasts but this was our first time at this location and we were impressed! They also do love music during the day. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area!
The ambiance was fantastic and the food was great!
great salads and view! Would definitely recommend for anyone that loves healthier foods!
The food was healthy and so good. The environment was so pretty and I’d definitely go back.
The good is really good but the service is beneath contempt. Horrible!
We had a great time!!
Lovely location close to the beach. The food was mediocre at best. Service was good but not great. Extremely over-priced even for the beach. There are far better places to eat on Miami Beach. Would not return.
Beautiful restaurant with quality ingredients. But few gluten free options and staff who are not all well trained in this aspect.
We eat here twice the first time was great the second time very poor.
Very beautiful and amazing service!
Menu was incredible. Drinks were incredible. Setting amazing. Bravo!
Nice out door seating. Good food. Good drinks. A fen place.
Great food, wonderful service, excellent ambiance.
It was a lovely meal, I had the watermelon juice and fried salmon tacos; the food was excellent and the view was superb.
If you’re a rock star, then you can afford the prices but the food is richly prepared, with a lovely presentation.
The ocean sets a beautiful stage for a lovely dinner.
This place needs much improvement. Overall disappointment.
went on a quiet night and got the cauliflower pizza... it’s been 3 weeks and i can’t stop thinking about it
I always love the drinks and food at Malibu Farms!
Service was horrible. Waitress did not ask us if we wanted drinks. Meal came out with onions on it, when I clearly said no onions. Daughter wanted a second drink, but waitress no where to be found. Will not be running back
Everything we ate was fantastic. Really enjoyed the rack of lamb and broccoli mash.
