The Black spagetti special was too salty. The green olives were to hard and cold. Otherwise it was very nice and I was happy to experience very well made lasagna and tirumasu.

We had a great dinner at Malena recently. It’s is a lovely new authentic Italian restaurant and is a great addition to Martin St Brighton. The food and service was excellent. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a relaxing sophisticated ambiance. We are looking forward to going back soon.

Overall I thought that everything which went with dining here was very good. I would suggest keeping the volume of background music both suitable (relaxing would be be my suggestion) and at low volume.
