I really enjoyed trying the DineLA menu at Malbec Market. They have a cute outside patio area in the front of the store (with heatlamps) but I decided to dine indoors. When you first walk in, you don't really expect much because it does look like a market with refrigerated cases of meats and chimichurri. They also have a whole shelf of wine. The tables inside are fairly small, mostly for parties of 2. They might've had one or two tables that could accommodate parties of 4. Everything that we ordered on the DineLA menu was good though. The portions were nicely sized too (you won't leave feeling hungry - in fact, I even had to take some of my food to go). They bring out complimentary bread with flavored oil which was really nice. The beef stew polenta appetizer (Estofado Y Polenta) was really nice and hearty. The beef stew was delicious and the polenta was creamy and buttery. The prosciutto wrapped shrimp appetizer (Camarones Con Prosciutto) was a little salty but it balanced with the bitter and citrusy arugula salad. For the entrees, the Churrasco Madeira was amazing! It was a good sized 8 oz. striploin steak, cooked perfectly medium rare topped with a mushroom sauce. It also came with mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables. I also tried the gnocchi with bone marrow (Noqui Con Ragu Y Caracu) which was good but super heavy. The gnocchi was covered in a skirt steak ragu which was like a red wine beef sauce. It was so luscious! Wish I could've eaten more or that it came with some vegetables to balance out the dish but I gladly packed my leftovers. I also ordered a side of the french fries (Papas Provenzal) and they were delicious! Loved the garlic and parsley flavor and they were nice and crunchy. For the desserts, I had the Crepe De Peras, a pear crepe. It was supposed to come with pistachio gelato but they gave it with dulce de leche gelato instead. Nevertheless, the crepe was still good. I also tried the Don Pedro which is just an ice cream sundae, also good too.

Visited this restaurant as part of the DineLA week. Everything on that particular menu was amazing, the extent of the regular menu is a bit overwhelming. Everything was sooo delicious. Best meal I’ve had in some time.

Friendly employees, great food with tons of variety, moderate corkage charge. When you think of Argentinian food is much more than Beef. Their variety of sausages are all delicious. Wonderful pastas and much more. Their grilled sweetbreads are the best I've ever had outside of Argentina.

Totally different from the Pasadena branch. This branch is more modern. Outside seating is available too. Definitely would recommend this place for any occasion as long as you make a reservation ahead because its been hot these days and you would definitely want to sit inside.

Wanted some place new and different for Mother’s Day lunch. By pure chance we couldn’t have picked a better place. We started with a few appetizers and the the Fried Calamari and Fried Shrimp truly could not have been any better. The 2 Empanadas we had were delicious. We had the chicken and Spinach/cheese. We ordered entrees as well that were really good. I had the rolled eggplant with smoked mozzarella. My son-in-law had a seafood dish and he was very pleased with it. They had both indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely a place we would go back to, and more options to try. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Our server was excellent and answered all of our questions. The menu seems to have expanded since I was last there and it makes me want to go to Malbec Kitchen again soon and try something new! The food was delicious! 2 of us had the Chorizo Pizza and one had the Sorrentino pasta. There is outside seating in front of the the restaurant and busy Colorado was a little loud...but we had a lovely dinner!

Friendly greeting. Reserved table was available upon arrival. Varied menu, very fair pricing. Entrees come with two sides, so a full plate of food. All four of us enjoyed our meals, including fish,, pasta, and beef. Definitely would return.

Great find. With parking always an issue DTLA we decided to find a restaurant in route to the theatre downtown. This was a perfect spot. Reservations are easy, parking easy and the food was amazing. Large menu to choose from but everything we had was tasty and served beautifully. We can’t wait till next time so we can try some of the other great menu options. Great wine selection. I highly recommend their namesake - the Malbec.

The food was delicious. We went for lunch. We had empanada appetizers. My wife had pepper steak; I had the Chorizo plate with a side of Fries. We had a bottle of Cabernet Franc. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the food and beverage. Th service was excellent; friendly and attentive. We finished our meal with a cheese platter and I had an espresso macchiato. It's a market so it has a very casual atmosphere. The menu selection is very broad so there are plenty of choices. Definitely recommend.

What a find!!! We were looking for a ‘last minute’ Sunday lunch spot with outdoor seating and came upon Malbec Market. Delighted!!! Huge menu, lots of varied choices, from sandwiches to pasta, to pizza and salads. I had the prosciutto and arugula salad….it was HUGE and easily could be a hearty appetizer for 4. I ate 1/2 for lunch and was too full for dinner. My husband had the pasta with scallops, calamari and shrimp….lots of seafood, very fresh and delicious. Our daughter had 1/2 chicken, which she raved about….juicy and tender. Inside is simply decorated without any fanfare…outside is on a busy street. The only thing we think they can improve on is the decor. Otherwise an absolute keeper. We will definitely return often.

Our six person (all family) part had a terrific experience at Malbec Market in Eagle Rock. The food and presentation were phenomenal. The staff were attentive and our waiter was knowledgeable and patient with us (us= my father). My wife and I will be back to sample some of the other offerings on their outstanding menu.
