We arrived @ 7pm. Main course arrived 8:50pm. They seemed very busy with takeaway service. Food was disappointing having read the good reviews. Dips with starter were not nice. Bread with main course was over baked and crusty. Main dishes were lacking in taste. Spinach side dish was too seasoned. Maybe they had a bad day but we will not be going back

It was so busy, food came out in drips and drabs, though was very good. The service was terrible and very very slow and the tables were packed in.

This restaurant never fails us! Amazing food, great atmosphere and wonderful service. We had gone there to celebrate and were shocked (positively!) by the bill when it came as it was cheaper than we had expected. Especially when compared to similar restaurants on the same road! We love this restaurant and think it is a great asset to the high street. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re missing out!

Staff were courteous and efficient but food was only luke warm and thus lacking on this occasion. It has been better on previous visits so hopefully just a blip and will be better next time.
