   Service and food was spot-on, highly recommend. I would have give five stars for ambiance but it was so dark at our first table, we ended up moving to the sushi bar where the lights were bright - and able to watch the chefs in action! Recommend they have the LED table lights for guests who need them.

   The first time we ate at Makoto it was a magical experience. This time it was not. I ordered the uni donburi, which I'd loved last time. However, everyone else had finished eating by the time my dish arrived, even though I'd asked about it a couple of times during dinner. They said it was a dish that took a long time to prepare. I said they should have warned me. And it was noodles (over rice last time, which is what donburi is supposed to be). So I don't know what was going on. But I finally convinced them to be apologetic, and they gave us a free dessert. I don't want to trash the restaurant (the brussells sprouts were yummy for example), I just want people to be warned.

   We had dinner at their hidden bar and it was wonderful. There is an amazing DJ playing vinyls , great food and service.

   This place is amazing- the quality of the food is second to none and the service perfect. The quality of the ingredients were just out of this world the tuna melts in your mouth It’s such high quality.  I will return again and again and again if you are ever in Panama, this is a must stop.
