Jorge Tako Higa and his team have more than 19 years of experience pleasing the most demanding palates JORGE TAKO HIGA. Our appreciated and recognized Chef has been with us since the beginning of Makoto, in 1996, when our first store was inaugurated on Av. Petit Thouars in San Isidro, he started as an assistant to Japanese chef Makoto Tokuhira who shared and taught him all the secrets and techniques of traditional Japanese cuisine. Main Itamae of Makoto Larcomar, Tako, in all these years of experience, he has learned to take advantage of the Japanese techniques learned and fuse the diversity of Peruvian products, thus allowing us to delight with innovative and exquisite dishes while always maintaining Japanese philosophy.
