Makino Sushi Bar by Marky's Group is a sheltered outdoor sushi bar seating 14 guests at our high-top counter.

Located outside of the Aventura Mall in the Piazza Entrance. We are near the outdoor entrance of Cheesecake Factory, Rosalia, and Kilwins. (Parking available in the outside lot of Bloomingdales & Valet Service is walking distance)

Come join Chef Yasu as he highlights flavors from his childhood in Wakayama, Japan.

This place and open table had the nerve to request a credit card for a reservation, only to find out the Buisness was closed

This restaurant has undergone significant changes. The original sushi chef has left, the menu has been revamped, and they now primarily serve poke bowls. It no longer resembles our beloved sushi bar and feels like any other generic mall sushi restaurant.

We got there there is no omakase anymore and they didn’t advise. The server was unhelpful. We left.

Absolutely hated this place. Overcharged for things I didn’t order, incompetent wait staff, and a location that is beneath the fluorescent lights outside of a mall entrance. You sit in the humidity next to trash cans where mall rats through out their slushies and hot dogs.

This is an amazing gem. A one man show with the most amazing quality ingredients. If you want to sit at a counter and appreciate impeccable sushi this is the greatest spot.

Even though we reserved on OpenTable for dinner, the restaurant was not open! The phone number on the OpenTable website for the restaurant was not answered. I hope I’m not charged my $10 per person cancellation fee! We had to find another restaurant on New Year’s Eve. It was very inconvenient.

I was unaware restaurant/that was the description but was a horseshoe bat in a mall entrance. Very limited menu offering and food not great nor was service
