Intimate Bar and beautiful Lounge lead to unique restaurant with an open garden.
The subtly lit French oak paneled Bar greets you with booth banquettes and
tables amenable to serve Jacques’ Bar Menu, all day.
The Club Room; its coffered ceilings and fireplace create familiarity in the comfort
of a warm elegant home.
Both the Lounge and the Bar menus offer spontaneously prepared French delicacies, savory and sweet with distinct Mediterranean and Moroccan influence.
“Majorelle” restaurant; its vaulted ceiling, marble columns, and trellised garden with up-lighted fountains set the stage for fine French Cuisine and Service in an atmosphere of harmony and luxury for all the senses.
Fantastic! This is a great spot for classy sophisticated lunch. The menu is deep and there’s plenty of variety. Food could not have been better. Worth every penny.
We are at Daniel the night before and wished we had eaten dinner at Majorelle.
Beautiful place, romantic atmosphere. Classic French cuisine.
A beautiful, elegant restaurant with gorgeous flowers. The food is delicious -- I enjoyed the celeriac soup and the salmon. The service is excellent and welcoming. My friend ordered an iced coffee with almond milk which they said they did not have but it turns out that they sent someone out to get some for her. I will return.
Exceptional food and service. Quality is very very high. One of my best experiences in NYC
Needs more vegan options, not a good restaurant for vegans. Too expensive for food that is just not that good
Top notch in all aspects (food, service, ambience). Classy and comfortable at the same time. A gem!
Food, service and ambience were all sublime. My only disappointment were the other patrons, many of whom were dressed for a diner in shirts with no jackets, sweaters, jeans, etc. Given how expensive and formal the restaurant is, I would have thought the restaurant would have at least enforced their jacket rule.
This is a beautiful restaurant - the good superb - the service outstanding.
But it is EXPENSIVE! And one must be prepared for this.
Fabulous room, fabulous food and fabulous service!
This restaurant is incredibly beautiful. The service is exceptional.
This is a very special place. Incredible service, food, wine list and ambiance.
This was our second visit. Service and ambience were great. Food was just OK. Maybe it was an off night.
It was wonderful! We just loved it!
We loved everything about our meal. The soufflés were beyond delicious!
It was my first time at the restaurant and I loved how beautiful and cozy it was. Food was excellent, great service! Thank you!!
Charles Masson has done it again. Beautiful flower laden room with professional wait staff.
A traditional French first class restaurant. Worthy of a Michelin star even in Paris. I have rarely had as good a meal in NYC.
This was our first visit to Majorelle. We were celebrating a birthday at this elegant restaurant. Each course was delicious. Portions were surprisingly large. The service was impeccable. We will definitely return to Majorelle.
Unforgettable. Just brilliant in every way. The food was delicious and the staff were helpful and courteous.
The restaurant is beautiful, the service superb and the food is excellent.
Fantastic. The food and the atmosphere and the service are all spectacular. This s the top restaurant in the area.
Fabulous service and delicious food ; beautiful salad and delicious lamb chops . They happily substituted asparagus for potatoes
Flowers beautiful and attentive service
Only disappointment was lady’s room was two flights downstairs , hard on old knees !
I think $72 is a bit high for sole!
I loved the experience and it was such a contrast to the bad service and poor food I received at Sea Fire Grill and that my husband received at Perry street.
Wonderful service and ambiance Take someone here that you want to impress
Beautiful setting marred by far too many service people milling about. This would be an elegant oasis of calm but for anywhere from three to eight staffers moving throughout the dining area at any given time. That's far too much of an intrusion for a meal that will easily cost $300 a couple.
My first time at the eatery. The three of us tried Different dishes . The food was a serious disappointment except deserts . The place is stunning and the service is excellent. A friend who was with me has eaten at the bar on previous occasions and said appetizers and bar dishes were excellent. Maybe the chef had a night off . It’s hard to understand why there was paprika on the Dover Sole and why the fish came out dry. The smoked trout appetizer was excellent. My friend did not like her clams . This is one of the most expensive restaurants in nyc . It should have better food
It was an excellent and elegant experience . First class all the way.
Very pretentious service. Good average French food but way too expensive for what it is.
Charles Masson, restaurature extraordinaire, has created a very beautiful and inviting atmosphere inside Majorelle which simultaneously stimulates all four senses; sight, hearing, taste and smell. The dining room is very beautiful, soothingly quiet, the food is delicious and the fragrance of the gorgeous floral arrangements subtly permeates the dining rooms. The staff is very professional and attentive yet warm and engaging without being intrusive. My wife and I enjoyed a delightful and relaxing evening and look forward to dining at Majorelle again soon. Excellent in all respects - - one of the more pleasant dining experiences I've had. And it's a floral jewel box inside.
My new favorite restaurant. The food, service, and decor at the top of what NYC has to offer.
As perfect as can be‼️
Fabulous restaurant great food great service beautiful ambiance wonderful bar located in a classy boutique hotel. Charles is a old buddy. A totally transporting experience. Also the best vanilla ice cream on earth. Don’t miss it
Most elegant restaurant interior in Manhattan. Knowledgeable multi lingual (French) waiters. Impeccable service. Greatly improved menu. Best Grand Marnier soufflé I have ever had.
this was fourth visit over the last year and will be the last for awhile
leaving out matter of cost and value
staff seemed a bit preoccupied with i am not sure what
food also a bit off
the place remains gorgeous
if you then add the cost
they eliminated the previously "economical" prix fixe lunch
a la carte pp charge without alcohol can be over$100/pp for lunch
you expect near perfection and find ......something less
till next time
My daughter and. spent a few days in NYC celebrating her birthday. We had lunch before we left for the train home. My only regret was I was not feeling well . However, the food was excellent . My daughter had a salmon appetizer with caviar and I had the chicken curry. Both portions were a good size. The presentation was top notch. She enjoyed the dessert soufflé. Service was attentive and professional. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Only issue could be the restrooms require a walk down some stairs, which could be an issue for some ( like me), though I did locate an elevator in the hotel lobby.
They also brought out a plate with elegant cookies and a candle at the end of the meal for her.
This was an expensive lunch, but we both enjoyed it.
I highly recommend.
Myself and family LOVE this restaurant. It is festive, beautifully decorated with the most exquisite and fragrant flower displays.
The service and food are creative, fresh and delicious.
Amazing dinner, service impecable, decoration is beautiful and the bar area incredible! Worth it for the price!
Food is exquisite
Owner- handsome and welcoming
