If you want to be dazzled- make a reservation at MAJORELLE !!! The ambiance is beyond fabulous .Oh my - THE FLOWERS!!!! Food is scrumptious & the service is impeccable. I can not stop talking ( and thinking) about this restaurant. Run , don’t walk , to have a grand experience.
Second time the food disappointed. Majorelle is a pretty space, but the food should be orgasmic for what they charge. Brought a client and was embarrassed by the starter, which was cold, and the undercooked risotto entree. The median age in the room was like 78. Definitely an older crowd. Lots of face lifts in the room, too. Think I will skip this establishment in the future.
Dinner was exceptional. Ambience and service were flawless. We enjoyed lamb chops cooked perfectly with a mint relish.
The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. Majorelle is fine dining at it's best.

Charles Masson is a a superb host and makes everyone feel like his best client and everything work seamlessly in this beautiful space. The food, service, wine and of course the amazing flowers was fabulous. The only way to improve the experience would be to offer a 2 course option in addition to the 3 course prix-fixe to make it a little less lengthy dining experience. With a 2 course option, I would come back twice as often! Majorelle is definitely on my list of favorite NYC venues, the bar too is a lot of fun. Delighted to have such a wonderful place on the UES.
We had a wonderful evening. It was our anniversary and we had a delicious meal, great service and the flowers are magnificent. We weren't hurried and it was quiet enough that we could have good conversation.

We were greeted upon entering the from door by Charles Masson himself. Such a refined and polished gentlemen, we engaged in conversation with him over cocktails and during our fabulous dinner.
While the prix fixe is on the high end, it is worth every dollar. The venue and atmosphere is incredible and Majorelle is a MUST place to dine at least once. But please leave the denim home as you will surely be disdained by your fellow diners. Also, women in a dress and gentlemen in a sport coat with tie would go a long way to scoring a good table!

The service and food were outstanding, celebrated a birthday lunch there , the staff were super nice and accommodated our every whim ! Our lunch was one of the best in the NYC , 2 of us shared the fromage soufflé as our starter, which was divine and we each had the Poulet curry , delicate , subtle,
a gastronomic triumph ! The 3rd in our party started with the asparagus salad which looked amazing as did her risotto . Desserts were sublime , did try the strawberry with whipped cream , unbelievable,as were the tart tartan and the chocolate mousse .
The restaurant is in a beautiful setting the fresh flowers everywhere were gorgeous . One truly felt transported to another world , will definitely be back , a fabulous afternoon indeed . Thank you all at Majorelle !
Have eaten here many times. This time was disappointing. Food was extremely average, but room is beautiful and service is efficient. Unfortunately It is not worth the money. Hopefully it was just an off night.
Food was good but very overpriced. Also was charged $36 for 4 glasses of seltzer water.

I have had frequent dinners at Majorelle but just had my first lunch. The always beautiful room gathers the sun during the day to illuminate the table in the atrium and spill into the main dining room. The menu this day was highlighted by newly arrived white asparagus. It was a pleasure to avoid the rushed (chaos) of mid-town to enjoy the quite atmosphere (even in a fully populated room) and elegant service.

What an extraordinary experience! For starters, Majorelle is unquestionably the most beautiful restaurant I've ever seen. Outrageous and enormous floral arrangements abound: cherry blossoms, pink and orange lilies, tiny yellow orchids, and willow branches soaring seven feet tall. Etched cobalt blue water glasses, white tablecloths. There is a hushed air of perfection all around...waiters in dark suits and starched white, patrons in pearls and Chanel, blazers (it was Saturday lunch) and Hermes ties. Very, very la-di-dah. We, of course, immediately felt like we were wearing clothes we had slept in; my husband, who is normally impervious to such things, chastised me for not warning him to dress up.
Despite our disheveled appearance, we were seated at a lovely table and treated like visiting royalty. I had perused the menu online, and knew that I wanted the soufflé au fromage. We started with asparagus (allegedly just in from the Netherlands) on a bed of tender Boston lettuce leaves, topped with a vinaigrette sauce and crumbled egg. Also the Salad Majorelle, comprised of three baby sucrine (a variant of Bibb lettuce) leaves, each filled with a mix of chopped cucumber, basil and mint, mixed (we think) with a gentle labne sauce. The soufflés did not disappoint; each perfectly golden-browned dome arrived in its own little ramekin, with a small saucer of (unremarkable and unnecessary) chicken-broth-based sauce on the side. The soufflé was airy and light; I might have preferred a touch more fromage, but the less-cheese-obsessed would disagree. The piece de resistance was desert: a small dish of wild strawberries that had (allegedly) just arrived from Spain, served with whipped cream on the side, each tiny ruby gem exploding with Summer.
Perfection does not come cheap. The total for the above, plus one Bellini, two coffees, and mineral water, was $197 (pre-tip). But every once in a while….

The place is amazing but it is very very expensive. Perhaps good for those with an expense account but at $122 pp, prix fixe (no drinks included in that price), it's over-the-top pricey....not quite sure it's worth it.
I had been there before as a guest and liked so much that I took a friend there tonight.
My guest got there before me and they asked if he wanted to sit on the side so we could sit next to me even though it was hidden in a far corner of the restaurant, behind the columns so as not see or be seen.
When I arrived I asked for a more conducive place And was told That the place was full with reservations even though only two tables had diners at 645 on a Saturday night.
The staff was repeatedly rude
And haughty beyond belief. The soufflé wasn’t tepid and not cooked enough and soggy inside, the coffee also was warm as I drink it black, they wouldn’t offer any replacement dessert, and said they wouldn’t charge presumably so I wouldn’t write a scathing review.
Thank heavens you did reach out.

Exceptional! From the moment you walk in, you are feeling like you are in Paris, or the most beautiful places in France!! The MAJORELLE team is grateful to see you, they deliver the best cuisine, the best service, it is exceptional! And it is in the best location of New York City!!

The setting brought us to the Resturant, but the food will have us returning. This evening was a dining experience, so unusual in these times and one that felt like a beautiful vacation. We will be back hopefully often. We loved every minute of our time there.
