Nothing special. Just a cool and well hyped restaurant with fusion type food that has been around for many years now.
Worth the visit at least one time.

Fun with a crowd, not recommended for smaller groups
This is one of the best meals I've had in Los Angeles. Inventive cuisine. Great cocktails. And the service is impeccable. LOVED IT.
Spectacular evening had at MajorDomo. Short Rib was wonderful and the side rice that comes with it was unlike anything i have ever had and just amazing. All of our vegetable courses were so fresh and interesting and delicious. For the finale we had two interesting desserts that really cleansed the plates and were unforgettable. The room itself is a little noisy and hard to hear your table companion. Maybe next time I’ll sit outside.

South of the tracks near Chinatown is the most recent edition of Momofuku west, which is a welcome site to LA, which is also a mix of various Korean and ethnic foods. Eggs and smoked roe was the best Bing, and you can't go wrong with the Rockfish. Next time, we'll order the Whole Plate Short Rib!
One of those weird meals that started with promise but finished with meh. The bread was really good and the cave aged butter and caviar was excellent. Snap peas were perfect. The rice cakes were inedible, and the fish tasted fine but is a replicant of similar cod at other long time LA restaurants and was egregiously priced for portion size (nost of the plate was vegetables including those from dishes already ordered). Wine list and pricing was fair. Good service. Been there, done that, no reason to go again.

Momofuku finally comes to LA in an interesting way, by building in the warehouse area near Chinatown and the word seems to have gotten out. Long lines for non-reservations, but worth the wait nevertheless. Try eating inside, as there is more to watch and see. The food is interesting and fresh!
It’s a bit expensive for what it is
A lot of different people helped us and everyone was very Nice but there was a lot of miscommunication because of this. Somehow we ended up with a stew after asking a lot of different questions about the menu. We thought we were ordering short ribs but it was a really intense cheesy beef stew. On the menu there were no words “cheese” or “stew” explaining the 100 dollar dish. Disappointed. But the drinks were really amazing.
Food and cocktails were delicious and creative. Did not disappoint.
Great food, recommend the onion rings, short rib raclette was good but we chose it since the APL one ran out and couldn't get the bo ssam for dietary reasons. The truffle Mac and cheese was really good too albeit a bit pricey given the portion size. The bings with the eggplant and the lamb were nice too. Service was a bit slow but I understand that the restaurant just opened. Drinks were really nice too, favorite was the first one listed that had gin and tonic and orange fruits.
It was a great experience. Really good food without the fuss of a fine dining establishment.

This was honestly one of the most incredible dining experiences I have ever had! Completely worth the drive. Don't skip the drinks!
It was a little rocky from the valet waving us through to park ourselves then running after us to collect $8 to the server insisting we order everything at once so our “ticket doesn’t fall behind others” then having a 20 minute gap between starters and mains while our drinks sat empty. Maybe in a few more months it’ll be worked out. The spicy lamb bing and sausage peppers were tasty!
