   We had a Celebratory Dinner at Major Tom last night ! My wife's retirement. The meal overall was Fantastic.......the Service from (Rynne) was superb ! The ambience was very good, we loved the music selections for sure.....just a little too loud. Of the courses we chose.......Oysters.....Excellent......Foie Gras.....Excellent. ..... Beet Salad .....Superb......Pasta dish.....so/so.......Fries & Aioli.......Excellent The Cocktails ....excellent.......the Wine......so/so....and Prime Rib...(English Style).....was fantastic

   The ambiance is perfect! The decorations were not overwhelming. It’s spacious. Felt relaxed while dining. After more than 2 years of not going to restaurants, it feels like you’re in another world. The host checked our reservations and had the elevator opened for us and brought us direct to the 40th floor. We were efficiently guided from elevator all the way to the 40th floor receptionists then to our table with the waiter asking for any dietary restrictions before handing the menu. The food were nicely prepared and delicious. Did not order food that we thought would take long to prepare due to time constraints. Will be back for dinner… :)

   My partner had a severe gluten reaction to one of their gluten-free options; server made us feel rushed from the minute we arrived; we asked for food to be served one dish at a time and they insisted on bringing out all 3 dishes at once on our crowded table - not a pleasant experience overall?!

   Enjoyed food and evening but found it unacceptable for this high end restaurant that my lamb arrived more than 5 minutes after my husband's steak. No idea why steak arrives on the plate with no vegetables or potatoes yet other entrees do. Do appreciate it that the manager addressed the late arrival of the lamb.

   Great experience and great vibe. Our only complaint is that the desserts are a bit weak. The carrot cake needs to come back to the menu.

    Server left us waiting a LONG time between appetizers and main meal during lunch. Blamed kitchen back up, but we had 11:30 reservations and put in our order well ahead of main crowd. We all ended up late for our 1 pm meetings after lunch. Not even an apology either.

    We went to celebrate our birthdays, food was good. Service was good that he was fantastic great music. The menu prices were extremely steep for food. You can get at similar restaurants.

    I was disappointed with the lamb. Our server said the kitchen likes to cook it medium which is what I would have asked for, it was rare, almost blue. No compensation for it.

    Food and service was awesome. I believe loud music is not necessary and it is irrelevant to this luxury spot. The light was also too dim. But this is overall a very satisfying spot. My new favorite.

    We dined here for the first time on a Saturday night at 8pm. The space is very nice with beautiful views of the city at night. Much more seating than I had expected. The service was a little slow but cocktails were delicious. We had the steak tartare for an appetizer which was very tasty, although would have preferred a greater tartare to toast ratio. My partner had the prime rib and potato purée which he really enjoyed. I had the lamb, which unfortunately was very disappointing. The lamb itself was very tough and fatty, challenging to cut and even harder to chew. I noticed others dining on this meal near our table having the same issue. I didn’t even eat half of it sadly. The vegetable accompaniment (squash, sunchoke) was far too acidic. We shared the baked Alaska for dessert which was tasty and quite large, definitely too much for one person. Despite the disappointing main, I do plan to return to try the lunch menu.

    Our server Phil was fantastic. He made the experience very enjoyable. The potato doughnuts seemed a little bland. I also felt the afternoon menu didn’t have a lot of variety.. it seemed like a lot of seafood protein and not much else. Otherwise it was good

    Another magical evening spent at Major Tom. My hubby literally says “you are a MT advocate” lol and heck yeah I am! The food, drinks, and service was absolutely incredible yesterday! Can’t wait to come back again!

    I have been here several times over the last year, and every single time we cannot seem to get a table at the window regardless of whether it’s a birthday, anniversary or anything. Put in special request several times over the last week and still stuck at a table for 2 Dead Centre in the room.

    Requested a view of the tower to surprise my sisters, did not disappoint. The chefs did a fantastic job pairing the flavouring- had the potato doughnuts, citrus salad, spaghetti, and the chocolate bombe. Our server, Jessamyn, was amazing with a sincere and attentive presence as well as the other supporting staff that explained each item. Personally enjoyed the Venus Envy drink, as a gin drinker I wouldn’t have thought to pair it with lavender and pear, well balanced and presented. Was my second time and will come back to try more of their original drinks and dishes!
