This is our go to restaurant for all special occasions. The Food and Service are always Outstanding. Plus it's a BYOB.

We love this BYO restaurant. You can always expect a delicious fine dining meal so make sure you bring a special vintage to enjoy with it. Service was attentive and friendly. Love the Octopus starter and the Duck Cassoulet. It came out piping hot which is refreshing considering so many restaurants bring out lukewarm food. We went early as we understand, public parking can be a problem in Phoenixville. You won't be disappointed.

Majolica remains one of the best restaurants in the Philly area. Chef/owner Andrew & his team are the best. House-made sorbets, bread, pastas, all the details that spell GOURMET!

The food is interesting without being over the top. Each ingredient is there to add to the taste not to be trendy. Example: Grilled octopus with feta and garbanzo beans--it works so well its been on the menu for years. Sweetbreads are weird--not here--they sing. The pasta is fresh and no matter what's in the sauce, it's great (a standard is the rabbit ragout). The fish are treated gently and you always taste the fish with sauce as a complement. If Bouillabaisse is on the menu, order it. The Cassoulet with duck is also a standard (perfect for cold winter nights). And the treatment of veal, short ribs or steak are all exceptional.

Dessert: beignets with pot de creme!! just do it!

The service is professional and efficient, personal and friendly but not intrusive. If you want to chat, they're ready to talk, subject to call from other diners; if you want to focus on conversation with your dinner partner, they'll stay out of the way except to serve.

The space wraps around the semi-open kitchen so the largest space is in the front, there's a more private space in back and my preferred tables are those next to the kitchen so you can watch the action.

In 2009 I chose Phoenixville as a place to live because of my first meal at Majolica. Now I live in Philly and I'm always looking for a reason to return to Majolica.

Great food, great service. BYOB always a good thing. Wife and I had a wonderful 3 course meal for under $150 (including tip). Majolica is top notch.

Had reserved a back table and we waited. Ended up by the swinging doors to the kitchen. The back tables weren't ready. Bread was amazing; think they should have come around to ask if we want another slice. I had cod in a creamy sauce with bacon and chopped potatoes.. Wasn't particularly hot and I was surprised it did not come with any green accompaniment. Was heavy and I would have appreciated something crunchy and healthy with it. Looked bland and all white; not decorative or appealing. Desserts were very good.

The food is amazing. We had a group of 8 and everyone enjoyed their meals. Would highly recommend this restaurant. We can't wait to go back!
