Great food and service. The pork roast with black-eyed peas and collards was sooo tasty. I wanted to bottle that jus! And my husband was very happy with the cassoulet. Doug was a friendly and efficient server. We'll be back.
Majolica is consistently excellent and still the best restaurant in Phoenixville! Great food, attentive staff and nice atmosphere. We’ll be back soon!
Went to Majolica the other night and had the 8 course tasting menu. It was all very good. Service was great and the food excellent. Would definitely return.
Unusual food selection. A bit pretentious and the combinations didn’t seem to work well together. Also felt rather overpriced.
Have always loved this hidden gem and this visit did not disappoint.
The only issue we had was with parking. There was none. Ended up parking 10 blocks away down a side street only to find a ticket waiting on the return.
We had another wonderful meal at Majolica. this past Saturday evening. The Spanish mackerel was delicious. The grilled mushrooms were great. The scallop with pork belly appetizer to die for. And the donuts..... can't say enough good things. The service is always extremely attentive.
We were seated right away. We explained we were not in a rush and were allowed to take our time ordering. Killer food.
My husband and I took my 95 year-old mother-in-law to Majolica for dinner there Saturday night. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff doted on her and made her feel special. My mother-in-law is quite a foodie and takes pride in her taste palate. Her dinner passed the test. Extra goodies were provided like chilled pea soup and a wonderful cookie/ice cream dessert to share. We can't wait to return!
We had a reservation at 5:30 pm on a Sat. It was a cold day and it was chilly in the restaurant. Service was attentive - waitress gave good descriptions of the menu items. First course - we had grilled radicchio salad (very good) and grilled octopus (also very good). Main course the rabbit ragout & pappardelle (sooo good) and beef short rib (good but rabbit was much better). Desserts were Coffee Cardamon pots de creme with donuts (very good) and Green Tea Ice Cream with lemon curd & shortbread (also very good). We will be back!!!
We came for a dinner with an interview candidate for our company, and we were very pleased with the ambiance and service. The food selection was unique and creative, and everyone enjoyed their courses. It was also very nice to be able to bring our own wine selections for the group, to keep the costs under control. The pace of the service was a bit slower than typical, but it worked well for our purposes of business discussions.
Majolica is always a delight. We did the tasting menu again as a birthday celebration.
My first time at Majolica. We frequent the various BYO's in the Phoenixville, Malvern area and I had not been here. The ambience is terrific and the service outstanding. Out waiter "Orban" was very knowledgeable about the dishes and helpful. Overall the food was well prepared and presented very nicely, although, portions were on the meager side. More disappointing was the menu seemed limited if you were not in the mood for game or the chefs choices for "creative" cuisine.
Still, overall, a pleasant dining experience and I'm sure we will return by the end of summer.
Although I have dined at many upscale restaurants all written to be over the top food experiences, I consistently find Majolica the real deal. The food is always delicious, always creative and authentic while still keeping it real. It is comfort food for foodies with a passion for all things delicious. It is the type of place you want to go immediately back to.
Attentive staff. Brought us small bites of apps and soup we didn't order. Overall wonderful experience
The food and the service were wonderful! We have never been disappointed at Majolica and it is still the best restaurant in Phoenixville. We had Monkfish and the Rabbit Ragout. Excellent!
Great service... attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Food was great. Tried sweetbreads for the first time and they were so good. Cassoulet and Farro risotto were also winners. Going back soon. Also, byob so more to spend on food.
A favorite BYO. We make a point to go 3 or 4 times a year and always look forward to. Chef Andrew works his magic in the kitchen and the service is always polished and attentive. Just received their second Three Bells award from Craig LeBan. Soups, sorbet, seafood in particular are fantastic.
Great BYOB in downtown Phoenixville that has tremendously changed in last couple of years. Nice diverse menu with standard items such as grilled octopus or escargots. Special daily items available as well. Food is delicious and save some space for desserts, such as small donuts or flourless chocolate cake.
The food was spectacular from start to finish. Chef Andrew and his crew are to be commended on their skills in the kitchen. Everything arrived looking as wonderful as it tasted. Thank you for a splendid meal. I will be back very soon!!
Excellent restaurant in every way. Innovative and delicious.
The food was delicious but the service was poor. After a 30 minute wait for our table, the waiter/s seemed to forget about us. We had to get up to get our wine to refill glasses as an example. We did receive a taste of the night's soup which I think was an extra, but the service should have been more attentive.
Old friends, longtime New Yorkers with a well developed interest in cuisine, joined us to make a party of four—just large enough to enable us to order several items from each of the three course sections of the menu. Everything was excellent (as always, in our experience over the year and a half since we moved to PA and found Majolica). The service too was, as usual, impeccable; the staff is knowledgeable about ingredients and their origins as well as how the dishes are prepared. Servers are friendly and skilled at offering clear and succinct descriptions of dishes, and then expanding and providing more information if asked. In short we had another superb dining experience. Highest compliments to chef Andrew Deery and all.
Excellent food and the service was impeccable. We highly recommend it.
Majolica never disappoints! Food is quite gourmet and delicious. Service is professional and friendly. One of our favorites!
superb meal - service, food, friendliness. Highly recommended
Delicious meal we found on an impromptu date night! Attentive staff!
second time dinning here.. enjoyed dinner . service was great ... a lot of thought went into preparing the dinner -- samples was a nice touch. would like to see a Chef's menu to entice.
would revisit again :)
Delicious. Lots if flavor in the dishes. Well plated, professional and friendly servers. Some of the best food in the area, easily.
Great ambiance and excellent food! Would definitely recommend!!
Great place all around. The service was phenomenal as he gave us the perfect amount of space and information. He was knowledgeable about the food preparation and offered suggestions if one part of the seasoning didn't appeal to us. We also noticed that he adapted his approach for each table. The food was perfectly seasoned and prepared. The portions were perfect for me but light for my date and he still thanked the chef on the way out. Leave time in your schedule for this date night - they take their time with food preparation. I can't think of anything that they could have improved upon.
After moving to the area from the city, we were worried that we wouldn't be able to enjoy the same quality of restaurants that we were able to in the city. This restaurant put those worries to rest. We loved everything about it. We will be back again and again!
Fantastic food and service
This is out favorite restaurant in the area. Food is always amazing and the service is great. There is something always new to try, and knowing that it will taste great can give you the confidence to try something unusual.
Everything we had was outstanding from the amuse bouche to the pots de creme! Continues to be one of our favorite restaurants.
Food was uniformly excellent, service was friendly, efficient , and knowledgeable. In my opinion it is the best restaurant in Chester county, and just as good as any of the high end restaurants in Philadelphia. Been here several times and, if anything, it keeps getting better
Excellent dinner with my wife. Great food and service. Chef kept sending us complimentary tastings.
Majolica is a wonderul little BYOB with amazing, eclectic food. The ambiance and service are perfect for a romantic dinner or a small family dinner.
Great food at a reasonable price. Service is outstanding. The restaurant itself is small and cozy which adds to why I come here to dine.
My wife have been here many times. The food is tremendous! High end meals, well thought out presentation of dishes. This is the type of meal you’d expect to find in a major cit’s, but it’s in our quiet town of Phoenixville
Majolica is one of the top culinary destinations in the Phila metro area. It has also been one of the most consistent the past few years. A delightful and incredibly personal gem is a great spot and at incredible value. I highly recommend their tasting menu to allow Chef Deary to shine!
