The food was delicious and beautifully presented. It was stylish and modern, yet approachable and comfortable. Portions were enjoyably moderate. Service was friendly and professional. Atmosphere pleasant and gracious. We left certain to return again. Considering the quality, we found it to be quite moderately priced- easy to return frequently.
This was one of the best meals we have had - ever. We started with chicken liver pate and the soft-shell crab appetizer. Both were the best we have ever tasted. Followed with the duck and the halibut. The halibut was in a broth made with white beans and the pesto added a lot of flavor. The duck was excellent and served with a crispy polenta. Desert and coffee/tea were equally excellent. We will definitely be back.
The kitchen staff is creative and enthusiastic, exceeding the confines of what you order by sending wonderful samples of things to your table over the course of the dining experience. Interspersed between my various ordered courses were samples of tuna tartare, a white corn and lobster soup (sample served in a champagne flute), and a cucumber sorbet. All marvelously crafted by the kitchen and enthusiastically delivered by the staff.
It was an amazing dinner that we are still talking about. The service was incredible and everyone knew how the dishes were prepared and very friendly when we asked questions. Can't wait to go back!

We are particular about our food, how it is prepared, where it comes from and we want to be able to drink our best wines with an amazing meal. Majolica provides this- outstanding food, locally sourced, beautifully presented, tasty, and a perfect match for your top wines. And- all without a drive to the city. Hands down it is one of the best places around, city or suburb. We recently celebrated our anniversary and Majolica has become our go to restaurant when we want an outstanding meal. The atmosphere is perfect for conversations, the service is excellent. We had the tasting menu- one of the best values around. Oyster with soy dashi, zuchini blossom with scallop mousse and tomato jam, omelet with house smoked steelhead trout, sunflower seed risotto with morels, grilled squid w/radicchio & ramp vinaigrette, lobster with thai basil and coconut red curry, cucumber sorbet, seared pompano, mango and cilantro, date, mascarpone, EVOO, sea salt, and cherry clafoutis.
I moved to Phoenixville in 2000 and there was NOTHING here in the way of fine dining. There were hardly any restaurants at all. Today we have a thriving craft brewery scene, a distillery, and several decent restaurants ranging from wood-fired pizza and handmade pasta to Asian fusion and classic American. And then there's Majolica. Without a doubt this is the only true fine dining experience in town. The chef/owner makes his own pasta, ice cream, and sorbets, and sources locally as much as possible. He consistently delivers creative, succulent combinations that are a rewarding culinary experience. The menu is limited but changes frequently; the drink situation is BYOB. Surprise and delight your senses at Majolica. In Phoenixville, dining doesn't get any better.

Majolica never disappoints! Food is fresh and prepared by the master chef and owner, Andrew Deery. Presentations are impeccable, table service superb. Whether a special occasion or just a night out we are always delighted. Compared to other fine dining spots, the prices at this B & B are quite reasonable. Weekends usually require reservations. Our favorite spot in Chester County.

Went on a recent Saturday evening. On the special menu that evening was the softshell crab BLT, hands down the best softshell crab I have ever had! Very attentive staff, and the meal was served at a nice pace, not rushed. I will be returning soon.
We have been to Majolica six times. Every time we go here we are always impressed by the food and the service. It is totally worth going to and the menu is always different. We will definitely be back in the future. We live 45 minutes away, and it is totally worth the drive every time!

The food and service is ALWAYS Outstanding at Majolica.This time of the year they have Corn soup with chunks of Lobster. It has the most fantastic flavor. It's like having fresh corn on the cob. Andrew always has the most delicious Oyster as well. Everything is great.
Our dining experience was wonderful for the first time dining at majolica. Our server was very pleasant and very helpful with our choice of foods. Food was awesome from the beginning to dessert. Looking forward to going back.

Second time back within three weeks. I wanted to make sure I was not dreaming. Not only is the food superlative the service is equal. I am coming from Wilmington, Delaware I know it's worth it. The Frog Legs (when was the last time your had that on any menu) were excellent. Sweet corn soup with lobster, delights. The grilled & roasted beet salad is loaded with tasty beets. The rabbit ragout over pappardelle melts in your mouth. Make sure you do not leave without having the fresh and hot cinnamon doughnuts with coffee cardamon. Treat yourself anytime at MAJOLICA for a great meal.
Excellent, creative small plates and great service in a nice atmosphere. It would be easy for a restaurant to fall into a rut or simply get lax over many years, but Majolica continues to keep the bar high. We had an excellent meal. And this comes after visiting a hugely popular new restaurant in Kennett Square the week before and being sorely disappointed in both service and quality of the food. After that sad event, we wanted something local the following week to restore our faith, and we knew that meant Majlica, and we were not disappointed.

Majolica is our favorite restaurant. Chef Andrew Deery's food is creative and seasonal, with lots of fresh, local ingredients. We always appreciate the extra little bites between courses - this time, truffled tuna on a housemade potato chip, and cucumber sorbet. The atmosphere is intimate but not at all stuffy. The service is always top notch (thank you, Doug). The prices are very reasonable. We have eaten here many times and have never had less than an exception experience.
This was my second time here. It was better the second which means a lot! One of the best in the Suburbs!
Majolica may be one of the best restaurants in PA. This has become one of our absolute favorites. Doug makes us feel welcome, Andrew continues to improve (not just maintaining the quality but actually improving it!), Jacob is a great second in charge. The fact that we know names tells you how personable this place is. Chef's tasting menus are a great choice if you've never been here. Once you know the cuisine you may want to try a lot of small plates. This place is a gem.
A great dining experience. Prompt, considerate service. Innovative, unique menus. Soft shell crab on BLT was awesome. Halibut perfectly cooked, fresh, flakey. Soisson vide pork always a favorite.
The only problem is the parking (or lack thereof).

We were disappointed in the quality of the food. The presentation could have been much better. My husband's duck was undercooked. Our olive appetizer had some the were bruised. The service was ok.

A hidden gem in the town of Phoenixville. Outstanding food at a reasonable price. An added bonus are the little tastes the chef prepares for your table. We had a taste of the spring pea soup flavored with mint, tuna tartare on a truffle chip and cantaloupe sorbet to cleanse the palate. A BYOB too.
Can’t say enough about this place! We had an anniversary dinner here and they were spot on with everything. The service was excellent, ambiance on point, and I would recommend it to anyone. Definitely going back for another special occasion.
We've been fans of Majolica for 13 years now. Andrew outdid himself once again. The English pea soup with lump crab was flavorful and refreshing. The softshell crabs were divine and the porchetta just melted in your mouth. Had to top it off with the deep fried donuts. Yum! Cheryl as always was completely on top of her game.
