   The food is delicious, fairly small restaurant which helps for service to be personal. I've eaten here a few times and each time it was been wonderful - must get the corn soup.

   Fresh, innovative dishes. Very tasty and excellent presentation. Staff were super efficient, yet relaxed and friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

   Service was good, but portions really small and very lazy at times. The chorizo was literally a single sausage cut up with some onions.

   My partner and I had a mixed experience at Maiz Mexican. The food was flavorful and priced appropriately for its authenticity, though we felt the portions could be more generous. Our only real concern was the seating, we were placed right next to the area where the wait staff waited which made us feel a bit watched. Despite this, we appreciated the effort put into the dishes and the overall atmosphere. Might visit again and hopefully get a more comfortable spot.

   Interesting experience and we tried some foods we never tried before, which is what were were hoping for. But the place is so loud you can’t hear each other speak, playlist wasn’t fun or modern, the corn soup entree and the icy pole for dessert were the only saving graces. Sadly the rest of the meal lacked flavour and didn’t excite us to keep going back for more. Probably won’t go back.

   Best Mexican food I think I’ve ever had in Sydney, and fabulous cocktails. Waitstaff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, without making you feel like you had to rush.
